You use the easy apply option on linkedin but the company sends your data to worktable without previous agreement.

Workable proved to be an invaluable asset during a period of rapid growth within the business, enabling us to professionalise and streamline our recruitment processes. The platform’s intuitive design, coupled with a wide array of features and integrations, made it easy to tailor the system to our specific needs. Customer support was excellent, with prompt responses to queries, and our dedicated account manager, Abigail Andrews, consistently delivered outstanding service and assistance.

Very expensive, they do not have a lot of integrated job boards (not even monster) and then they force you to do everything manually, Definetly not for Freelance Recruiters, and there is no money back, my jobs are not getting posted on the free job boards or nobody is viewing them, so I wasted time, money and effort

Still masquerading as a direct employer for biffa! Very shoddy company haven't even got the decency to make themselves known on ads. AVOID!!

Workable is a great tool

I signed up with the promise I could post jobs across many platforms. 2 weeks later, my account remains disabled for "Account related issues." I gave them and confirmed my company email address, and sent my bar Membership showing I am in good standing. However, they have never unlocked my account.

Workable looks promising at first, but the actual experience falls short. The interface is clunky, customer support is slow to respond, and essential features are either buggy or locked behind expensive tiers. Not worth the hype or the price.

Horrible customer service and plenty of bugs.
I cannot recommend this company or using their services.

I applied for a job that was posted and it was through Workable. The next day at 5:00 a.m. I get an email saying that I have an interview at 10:00 a.m. that same day. Absolutely zero notice. How would anyone expect to interview someone with that little notice? They put a Microsoft team's link in the email and everything. It said my swift and timely response was very important to this job and interview, which I thought was odd. There were also grammatical errors in the body of the email. It seemed extremely sketchy. I was convinced it was some type of scam and I didn't respond. Are these job postings even legit? Who is reaching out for these interviews?

Very puzzled by other reviews and average rating. As a hiring manager, I truly enjoy Workable and I think it's a brilliant recruitment and candidate management system.

scam! they want you to phone them first.

I applied for a job, send all my data, got accepted, should plan an interview by my own, two hours later its cancelled. Looks like spam and to collect the datas, dont know what they are doing with it now. Never again.

Arrogant people with no sense of urgency to complete an integration they led us to believe would be done quickly.

Paid them way to much for what has proven to be just a recruiting site and not a true onboarding site since the integration with our payroll company is still not complete.

Mass violation of GDPR! Doesn't working system of removal private data!

The amount of money workable is costing companies is unimaginable. Broken algorithms, that set a new standard in dumbness. Resulting in actual Talent and qualified candidates getting filtered out, while copy paste of job specification, fake and often dishonest candidates making through. This results in heightened risk of failure in delivering objectives of the Company. A broken system that cannot differentiate between X and Y if X and Y are same terms for a particular skill or experience. It's surprising how many companies fall for using it though.

Writing a review for Yang who works in Singapore workable office. We could not activate the ats on 1st July due to family health situation that deters our plans in setting up our firm as expected. Not only Yang took the time to write to me that he is sorry about what happened, he also took the time to understand what’s going on, and tried his best to speak to the management to delay the activation. We truly appreciate and respect Yang work ethics, he is empathetic and a great sales professional. We hope that workable retained a great talent like Yang n make him grow further in workable.

I was going to send my CV to a company and checked the privacy note, which said would send my data to workable where they could find information about me in private and public databases and in social media, they said :

"Workable provides Us with the facility to link the data you provide to Us, with other publicly available information about you that you have published on the Internet – this may include sources such as LinkedIn and other social media profiles.

Workable’s technology allows Us to search various databases – some publicly available and others not, which may include your personal data (include your CV or Resumé), to find possible candidates to fill Our job openings. Where We find you in this way We will obtain your personal data from these sources."

It is amazing that analyze what you do in your social media and in private databases that who knows what information there is, maybe illegal data sold by other companies.

Also i just received emails from workable about 2 other companies that i never gave them permission to process my data with workable

I should have checked here before posting a vacancy on Workable. That might have avoided me wasting time on them.

Their system is absolutely useless and won't post a job without a URL. I don't have a website (I am a farm) so I emailed them to ask for the workaround. Instead of answering my questions they just accused me of violating their terms and suspended my account without any explanation.

No idea what terrible coders and general fools run this outfit but I would not recommend going anywhere near them.
