We redeemed a hotel trip away using Woocher for a hotel in Galway. Booking was fine and straight forward, however a month prior to the trip my wife was sadly diagnosed with Breast Cancer and we could no longer make the date booked as she was due to attend surgery on that date for a Mastectomy. We viewed Wowchers online policy and saw that redeemed bookings can be amended but an amended fee may be required. We thought no problem and Wowchers online guide told us to contact the hotel. After a few calls with the hotel it was explained too us that the hotel cannot make any changes or amendments to a booking without recieving confirmation from Wowcher first. Initially we where unable to get in contact as Wowcher doesn't provide a customer support number only chatbots and for assistance however after a few days of trying we where eventually able to get in contact with a Customer Service Worker with Wowcher and they assisted us in changing the date. I am thankful that they where able to assist us in the change given the circumstances however I do believe their is still room for improvement with the company as it is much easier to explain situations like these when talking with a real person over the phone rather than having to navigate through chatbots and sending endless emails before being able to speak with a real person. Initially gave the company a 1 star review but amended my review given the fact that thankfully they did eventually assist us in making the change.

Horrendous to deal with!!!! Wowcher live chat or any communication is like find wally watsapp 24hr wait between questions when you redeem your voucher with the supplier and pay postage next day you get a notification to say monies are being refunded no reason given and im chasing this refund now to find out it was out of stock.got my item refund but did NOT receive my full postage refund spaghetti junction inundated with email adds from wowcher,living social and aosom but nobody wants to deal with simple refunds.photogragh every stage of payments when purchasing.NO STAR OPTION AVOID like the plague🤣 auto reply from them at least its not 24hrs like their auto mated response on watts app support link🙄 AVOID @WOWCHER@LIVINGSOCIAL@AOSOM

Absolutely got scammed on this! Oh great a mattress for €65!! You have to download the voucher to redeem online which is auful to do! Then it did not advise of €20 delivery cost! Ok I will pay this! Until I receive another email my item is with customs , guess what another charge of €30. None of these extra charges are advised previously to purchase! Scam scam scam ! Stay clear unless u do ur back round checks on extra charges I wouldn’t bother ! It’s after costing me the same price as it would if I went to a shop ! I have not received the mattress yet and just upon looking at the reviews on trust pilot I’m hoping I get it in good condition! I don’t know why I did not read the reviews first! I had got hold of travel makers the third-party agents cancelled the holiday on the 23rd of January. I have been what’s happening Wowcher ever since they hardly ever answer and I’m waiting for my refund. Do not use this company.

Do not buy from this company Wowcher I’ve ordered a bed and never come been trying to get a refund and can’t. You can not talk to nobody. Was sending emails for 2 weeks with no reply. When did get an email back they send I redeem my voucher in the 2 feb and delivery will be the 12th which was a lie as I redeem my voucher on the 13th jan and delivery should of been the 23rd January. I have proof . Now I don’t want the bed anymore as had to buy from another place. But won’t give me a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! I want a full refund now!!

Don’t lie as I’ve got screen shots when I redeemed the voucher. You have changed the date on your end as I have made a complaint. I do not want the bed . I’m taking this further as this is a scam to get people money. I’ve got all documents to prove my case. Especially when I redeem on the 13th Jan the day I brought the voucher. I’ve got proof. Give me my money back now you scammers. I’m taking this further!!! If I could upload a picture I would have proving you are wrong with the date

Unreliable, no customer service and incompetent to the core.

Wowcher replied to my review of my experience with them .there reply was exactly the same as each reply i have had on numerous occasions.this reply is autermated as its allways the same word for word .so nothing is ever resolved.because they just press a button and you get the same message all the time.Don’t think they even read the complaint.its the same if you message them on whats app.same reply all the time .

We purchased a Wowcher hotel deal for €269 in late December for a specific stay date of 2 February at the g Hotel, Galway. The stay date was selected at the time of purchase and we received confirmation and a receipt.

On contacting the hotel the day before arrival, we were informed that no reservation existed. Only then did we discover that Wowcher required the voucher to be “redeemed” separately — and that it had expired on 25 January, before the booked stay date.

At no point was a clear redeem-by date highlighted during purchase, and it is completely unreasonable for a voucher to expire before the agreed stay date. We acted in good faith, believing we had a confirmed booking.

Wowcher’s response was simply to say that “no refund can be applied for an expired voucher,” without addressing the fact that:

A stay date was chosen at checkout

Payment was taken in full

The booking was never passed to the hotel

This is misleading and unacceptable customer service. We paid €269 for a stay that Wowcher failed to honour.

We are seeking a full refund of €269.

I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when purchasing hotel deals through Wowcher.

Only given 1 star as no option for zero.
Dreadful company.
Practically impossible to contact, no updates since ordered and now way past the anticipated delivery date.
No option to request a refund and no response to email communications
Ordered a gift for a child…how Embarrassing to sell children’s items and not follow through on the delivery aspect.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.
Firstly, you need to redeem a voucher after purchasing or you could lose your money.
I redeemed my vouchers on 3 items.
One arrived as normal.
The second order was the wrong item (I received a nail bar desk but ordered a cement mixer.) I had to bring the parcel to my local courier depot to return before receiving the correct item.
The 3rd item I purchased (garden furniture) never arrived. I have been emailing and WhatsApping them for weeks! They are no help! Most texts go ignored. I occasionally receive a reply that they are looking into it.
I just want my money back at this stage, I’ve spent too much time engaging with this terrible business!

I will be taking them to court next week if my order is not resolved.

Avoid Wowcher at all costs! I purchased three vouchers for me and my daughters for a day spa, costing £191 I was sent a receipt email which said I would receive another email with my code to redeem my vouchers, I did not receive this email and when I went onto wowcher my voucher had expired, I have contacted Wowcher via WhatsApp but after a couple of messages to say I cannot get a refund or my voucher they are not replying, I have spoken to the spa who say they have not received any money from wowcher so basically they have just taken my money, what an absolute scam, I will never use them again! Complete ripoff!

I was gifted a voucher for the G Hotel. I tried to redeem the voucher and pick the day I want which the website says “sorry, we could not redeem your voucher. please try again”.

I have brought this issue to wowcher on the 21/01/2026. Which they have said it would take 24 to 48 hours to resolve. My friend who gifted the voucher also contacted them last week and was told the same thing. We are now two weeks on since I have sent the initial email, and I am just being told to be “be patient”, it has been brought to their concern team and they are working to resolve it “as soon as possible”. No estimate on when it will be resolved

Avoid Wowcher at all cost! They happily took my money yet I never received my product. They lure you in with discounted products and make it as hard as possible to actually redeem the purchase. I’ve tried contacting customer service multiple times and got nowhere, no refund, no help. Once they have your money, they clearly don’t care. I won’t be using them again.

Wowcher did not send redemption code for my purchase. When I queried this they said the redemption voucher had expired!! They are still holding my money even though I have asked for a refund to my bank account. Do not touch Wowcher.

This website is an absolute scam. I paid 137 euro for an item that i was waiting to get delivered for over a month. turns out if you don't redeem the voucher within 15 days they wont send you anything or issue you a rufund to your accound. So they will keep your money for doing absolutely nothing. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

What a awful company i bought a shed for £106.00 i tried to down load 3 times their voucher it kept saying item out of stock try again later.. i tried 3 times then on the 4th day voucher said out of date

They wont refund me either.. how is it my fault the voucher would not down load and the item is out of stock.. the customervservuce team are very dull

An Absolute Nightmare,

Purchases a bed and mattress, I was advised by text late on a Friday that delivery would be the following Monday between 1pm - 4pm, tried to message and call the delivery company to reschedule due to the short notice but no response, arranged the day off work last minute, but they never came until after 6pm. Point blank refused to take my items up to the my 3rd floor - left everything just inside the main door. The Delivery Driver was dragging the headboard and Ottoman, scraping along the ground when he took them out of the van and left it at the flat main door, I Had to ask a neighbour to watch over the items while I drove to get my brother to help me carry it all up to the flat. Then the issues really started.
The Ottoman and headboard are both severely marked and damaged, one of the feet at the bottom of the bed is buckled, the 'mattress' - I wouldn't even call it that - is flimsy, has zero support whatsoever in it and my knee just falls through it never mind my body so absolutely no use at all.

I've never known anything like this ever and I have been shopping online for over 30 years.

Over £350 spent, a day off used up and all complete rubbish that I won't use, it's a absolute waste of time and money and as a first time user of Wowcher I will not be buying anything from them again. Ever.
