Helpful service.

I had a very specific need of style and size of door. This was perfect. Although there was a slight delay on delivery, this was only because a damaged door was delivered to Kershaws originally and they had to re-order. However, this was communicated promptly and politely, and a new delivery date arranged very quickly. The door is now fitted and looks very classy!

As a joiner I've had quite a few doors an casings from Kershaws, along with handles and hinges and everything has been of top quality and the service has always been superb. Highly recommended

We came to Kershaws Doors Ltd because we needed custom-size doors, which was difficult to source and/or extremely expensive anywhere else.
First disappointement: the doors we originally wanted to order weren't available once we were about to place the order. We chose another kind of doors which didn't match what we previously had in mind, but we needed to place the order quickly because of the long lead time (8 weeks).

Impossible to get any assurance that the delivery will be any quicker. The staff would systematically refer to the 8-week standard delivery time, unable to give any further detail on timing.

The problem is, the doors eventually arrived a good couple of weeks after the due date. This was a massive setback, as we had to reorganise our works on site. Also, delivery was kerbside delivery, which we discovered on the day of the delivery, with the delivery guy threatening to leave the doors on the street... It was a nightmare to get the doors up to our flat.

Overall the doors themselves were ok and we are happy with them (the glazed doors looked really industrial though, we had to buy beading and ask a carpenter to put it around each glass panel). The staff is friendly and helpful to some extent, but timing management was poor and the kerbside delivery was another bad surprise we had rather avoided.

Great customer service, very helpful finding what I needed and had it ready asap!

Really lovely people at the end of the phone especially Ian who took the time to match the price on a different site. The door arrived on time and looks Fab..well done Kershaws.

Ordered two wooden thresholds as the original ones as fitted by chippy warped very quickly. The Kershaw ones are laminated so hopefully will not warp.

Great range of doors so we could find *exactly* what we were looking for rather than compromising. Slick service from ordering online to actually taking delivery. The way online retailers should be

Easy to use web site enabled us to choose our internal double doors with care. They arrived quickly via good and careful couriers.
We did have a fault and the doors had to be replaced.
This was done quickly and without fuss following us submitting photo proof.
We will gladly use this supplier again.

Ordered door over the phone, very helpful. Good communications about delivery time and door turned up as ordered. Well packaged and as described. Very happy, would use again.

A very painless experience and received what I ordered. I was kept fully informed of delivery and the delivery was on time.
My only disappointment was not with the doors or quality of the doors but with the folding door hardware parts. I found the drawing of how to attach the track and other parts to the doors as shown on the package almost impossible to decipher; however I did find full details on You Tube.

Today I finally got around to putting the doors up. Disappointed with the way in which the hinges are fitted. Very poor standard of work. Almost all the countersunk hinge screws have been screwed in on an angle so that when the doors are closed the gap between the two doors is excessive. The hinges need to be removed and screwed correctly so that the screws are flush with the hinges. This will remove the excessive gap.
Furthermore this will allow me the opportunity to re-adjust the height of the doors since the bifold doors do not line up with each other, there being a small but noticeable drop on the second door. This is identical with both sets of bifolds purchased.
Disappointing but not the end of the world.

Five internal doors of three types arrived exactly as ordered, & I got a phone call in advance to tell me the day when they would come. A good company to deal with.

The folks at Kershaws Doors are always helpful & polite, even if you cancel orders at the last minute & cause them hassle like I did recently. That creates enormous goodwill. I will always go to them first for doors & would always recommend them to people I care about because I trust them having used them from 2006 - 2014.

Delivery and packaging of doors was quite good. The quality of the veneer on the doors was good and colour was as advertised. The hinges and screws on the Bi-fold doors were very poor and had to be replaced. The fitting instructions for the Bi-fold doors could not be followed and we had to work it out by trial and error!

Quality of the doors wasn't as expected. Took a lot of work to deal with knots,mrought timber, etc
