Unbeatable customer service

I really can’t recommend 1st-line highly enough. They are absolute experts about every aspect of the machines they sell, down to the smallest wiring detail, part, and interface. Their professionalism, dedication to customer experience & satisfaction, and customer service are absolutely top tier. When I had an issue with a product from another merchant, Jim and his crew graciously helped me figure it out every step of the way and really showed the depth of their expertise. Don’t bother with anyone else, these folks are the best around.

I am a proud owner of a Lelit Elizabeth…

I am a proud owner of a Lelit Elizabeth V3 espresso machine from 1st Line. The V3 was expected to arrive in September so I was placed on a waiting list for the machine and 1st Line would notify me once the machines arrived and were ready for shipment. Fortunately they arrived mid-August, I received the notification email and I picked up the machine at 1st Line a few days later.

The shopping experience was first rate and I will definitely do business with them in the future.

Kindness that transcends great customer service

Back in 2017 my house flooded during Hurricane Harvey and my family and I lost nearly all of our possessions. My LeLit grinder made it through, but the tray for it got lost. Jim Piccinich at 1st-Line was kind enough to send me a new tray and didn't charge me a dime for it. It was a very kind gesture during a challenging time from an outfit that I have always had a great experience with. Thank you, Jim! I have done business with you since and look forward to continuing to business with you in the future.

Great ordering and service

Web site easy to use and find the item I wanted. Ordering was simple, and the machine was delivered and making coffee within a few days. This is the 3rd espresso machine I've bought from 1st-Line, over many years, and I'm still happy with them!

Great price, fast delivery

Our Saeco Picobaristo was shipped promptly and we were sipping outstanding cappuccinos in our kitchen before we knew it. We couldn’t be happier with 1st-Line and the Picobaristo.

1st Line Equipment experience

What attracted me to 1st Line over other specialty espresso stores was their frequency of clearance/refurb/demo machine sales. I was able to buy a demo version of machine that saved me quite a bit. They also publish knowledgeable reviews of their merchandise and general tips/tricks to keep your machine functioning properly. I have not had to personally deal with their customer service. However, I did observe that they are fairly communicative on the Q&A sections of their product pages.

We bought a VBM HX Super Espresso…

We bought a VBM HX Super Espresso Machine. Our second one.
Love this machine. Delivered in a timely manner and well packed, not damage even though the outer packaging looked suspect. Very happy with product and 1st-Line Equipment.

Jim Piccinich replied to my request on returning an item. He started rebuking me for buying a part that did not work with my equipment. he continued with "where in the our sites states this is the right part" and "Didn't you check the return policy" following with "I'll charge restocking fee and you have to pay for shipping as well".. I understand policies but the fact that he did not show concern with my issue says a lot about himself and this company. I am surprised with all the reviews and respect other's opinion. I did not have a good first time experience. Ended up keeping the item instead, I felt humiliated by this person and did not want to deal with them anymore.

Below is the exact email that transpired. For anyone interested, the comments in the review portrayed by the customer are slightly different than the email thread shown below. Since the customer can change their review wording, we have kept an original copy at the bottom of our response so all can see. Time zone differences are accounted for in order of emails.

Summary:
a) customer claimed to have purchased a Eureka blow up part because some other web sites stated the part works on his grinder, which is a Nuova Simonelli MDXS
b) 1st-line made no claims on our web site that this part from another bran will work with the grinder this customer owns
c) customer claimed to own 2 espresso machines and 5 grinders as well as own a cafe, but this was the first purchase from 1st-line,
d) customer did not like the efficiency of the part
e) customer did NOT read our return policies. As clearly noted on our web site, parts are not returnable.
f) Jim offered an exception to a customer with a restocking fee and a coupon for the restocking fee for a future purchase
g) customer did not like the exception and thought it was too excessive
h) customer sent an email to never contact him again and called Jim 'pathetic'.

Due to Trustpilot rules, we had to replace the customer's name with "customer"

The reason is customers do not like to buy used parts or in other cases, customers return their defective parts for a refund. Thanks for the reply. As mentioned, Eureka does not sell the top blow up as a stand alone. This is the manufacturer's decision.

Customer Service will issue the RMA as outlined. 20% covers the labor costs for fair wages in New Jersey, unlike minimum wages at retail stores and other costs. The best I can do is offer is a one time coupon for a future purchase for that same amount under your account.

Great Elektra espresso machine

Great Elektra espresso machine, ordering was easy, machine arrived promptly and safely. One small problem with one of the parts was remedied promptly. This is the second time we've ordered from 1st-Line and have always had good results! Very pleased!

ps. I look forward to purchasing and testing the Lelit flow profiling kit on my new ACS Minima, when it becomes available again.
