1st Movers  レビュー

Hmm, maybe things go ok with 1st movers IF you are moving within Edinburgh or to that city.

We were moving Darlington to Aberdeen. Perhaps that is why we got the D team. The main mover showed up without door wedges or Allen keys, after I had asked 1st movers about this. I had to text him a reminder to bring Allen keys when we arrived in Aberdeen. The second mover, ironically more careful, was a young tourist.

This team was neither professional nor experienced though, and there was rough handling. Worst was when they took a 100 year old display cabinet through the front door, no cloths used, and glass side facing the door handle. The glass smashed and there was some wood damage. They replaced the glass but nothing was done about the notable damage to the wood; I can't use it now. This was a family heirloom that some years ago was moved from Canada without problems!

After complaining to them, their "trainee operator" Sarah said she would speak to the "relevant colleague". That was ten days ago and I haven't heard a word. The customer service stopped when they got my full payment.

Honestly, a man with a van could have done better for a much better price. I have moved a few times and this was the worst experience ever. It may be removal staff shortages; but in the end, you don't know who you will get with this company to move your possessions.

Professional and quick. Thanks!

Amazing service from start to end! really helped us out and at late notice as well. Used them for our exhibition goods to be transported and they done it exactly how they said they would! Thank you all so much!

I contacted them to have a piano uplifted for disposal. The whole process was dealt with very professionally and I would highly recommend this company.

Very quick to respond to my initial enquiry. Very easy process to arrange the collection and delivery. Worked with me to ensure the items arrived ASAP. Kept in contact throughout so that I had the information required to make sure I could update everyone on timings.

1st Movers had timely and efficient customer service throughout the move of my piano from Edinburgh to Yorkshire. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them for all my future Scottish removals.

Great communication and guidance throughout the process. 1st Movers have been really helpful and flexible to make the removal process as fitting for my situation as possible.

1st Movers communicated really well from first call to delivery.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a fast service from London to Edinburgh. Good value.

I had the best experience with 1st Movers Edinburgh. I had originally tried to send two boxes with another company and it was a disaster. I was completely desperate when I called 1st Movers Edinburgh but Sarah was extremely kind and helpful; she explained everything to me and she helped me to arrange the payment. The collection was arranged for the day after my call and the boxes were at my home the day after that. After the delivery, Sarah called me to confirm that everything was OK. I would also like to mention how organised everything was. Firstly, I had very specific instructions (for example, I had requested for the drivers to call me before attempting collection and delivery) and they were followed meticulously. Additionally, I got replies to each one of my emails within hours. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with 1st Movers Edinburgh and I couldn’t recommend them more!

I booked a removal only 3 days in advance and they were able to offer me a great service and accommodate to my needs. Great people, very professional. They were able to collect all my belongings and deliver them in just an hour, and for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service, Sarah was very helpful over the phone and through email, informed me of the full process and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend!

I have used 1st Movers twice and i recommend them without hesitation They provide an excellent service and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They reduced the stresses of moving, and i would only use them again, and great prices too.

We used 1st Movers for our move from Coventry to the very North of Scotland - so, a big undertaking! They were absolutely fantastic and we were so happy with the service! Prior to the day, we had good communication with the office and everything was agreed in advance. On the day, the two movers were absolutely amazing! They loaded the vans really professionally, but also quickly, and they kept in touch regarding the delivery time the next day. They were friendly and professional throughout and a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived safely (even though it was about a 450 mile journey so we sort of 'expected' some breakages, especially after being told that by other companies we got quotes from) but I can guarantee that nothing was damaged or broken at all. They made our move so much easier and took a lot of the stress away. Would highly recommend this company!

Great service. Easily transported my piano over 60 miles and up two flights of stairs without any bother. What's more they provided the lowest quote to do this out of all the companies I asked by nearly £200. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Very quick & efficient moving our piano within our house. Considerably more helpful & half the price of other removal companies we approached. Very pleased.

Movers came on time, and quickly and efficiently loaded the van up! They were very friendly and helpful and all of our belongings were moved safely. Managed to move our whole flat within three hours - such a stress free move. Can't recommend them highly enough and especially with such a good price point.

Really helpful team, were very efficient and friendly. Would recommend for long and short moves!

Really brilliant
The van was a brilliant size and the guy was really helpful. I would definitely recommend this to someone else as everyone I dealt with (in organising and the actual move) was so lovely and helped me to quickly and easily make a booking at the last minute.

I had to book these at short notice when another company let me down at the last minute. They were great - efficient, polite, flexible. I didn't have any problems on the day at all.

Excellent service from start to finish. Very helpful staff on phone starting from quotation to the day of removal. Called to check on the day and the driver was superb: communicative, helpful even when I wasn't at the property upon the van's arrival due to a delay.
Very positive experience and highly recommended!
