Needed a new jumper for this winter. Not a big selection but from what was there, it was very nice. Great quality and really happy with what I got.

i did next day delivery, came a week later, absolutely dreadful

I am beyond disappointed with my first shopping experience with Abercrombie!! I placed my order on 27/07/2022. My order was never even shipped according to the tracking information, but when I emailed CS I was told my parcel was “lost”. I then did not receive any more responses via email. I decided to talk to CS via live chat. I was told I could be sent a replacement order for the next day. I could see many of my items were out of stock, so I specifically asked if my items were going to be available for delivery. You can check your records to see this. Since I was told all the items were in stock, I agreed for the replacement to be sent out. While still trying to resolve the issue, the associate disconnected mid chat. I was then unable to connect to live chat again, as the “chat ended” appeared every time I got through. Why is there a live chat option, if no one is going to help when there is an issue? A couple of minutes after the chat, I got an email stating all but two of my items were out of stock! I then had to phone Abercrombie CS, who confirmed only two items would be sent. I requested the order just be cancelled, because I bought each item as a set to wear together, and I would take my business elsewhere. I was told the order could not be cancelled. I haven’t even been sent a new tracking number, has the order even shipped? Absolutely appalled by the poor level of service. I still have not received a refund for the other items either. What is going on? I am not being contacted on Twitter either. Absolutely abysmal service!

I’m not sure what these reviews are about but I’ve had pleasant experiences with Abercrombie and Fitch.

Never buy online and try to get a VAT invoice on the spot. Abercrombie & F have strange rules preventing them to deliver invoice at the same time they debit you from your money. And of course no warning mentioned on their website. Customer service is worse and everything but helpful. First time ever I bought A & F, NEVER AGAIN.

Absolutely dreadful, placed an order over a week ago, got a message to say that my order is out for delivery on the same day another message to say that its being returned to the sender! Of course they do not know why and my only option is to re-order, however the items are now out of stock, I would give zero stars if I could

I accidently sent a pair of brand new nike trainers to A&F instead of using the Nike Label. (Both labels did NOT include the company name) I contacted A&F the next day when i realised explaining and was advised they would return back to me.
I chased this up 10 days later to confirm and the customer service rep told me there was nothing they could do, i wouldnt be getting my item back and advised me to speak to nike and ask for a discount on another pair!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so unprofessional!
They went back on their word! i even offered to pay return shipping fees. A&F seem reluctant to help me, From this experience i will never shop again. I have returned my whole order i got from them off the back of this.

The products from this company are nice, customer service is AWFUL.

My order was randomly cancelled so I got in touch to ask why. They sent an odd email claiming they’ve had issues delivering to my address before and couldn’t deliver to my house. Funny that as they use Royal Mail and I do all my shopping online and have never had any problems, I’m in a residential area with clear house numbering and I actually placed 3 separate orders over the span of a couple of months, a couple of months before this.

When I queried it, and asked to raise a complaint, my email has gone ignored for nearly a month.

I also complained via their chat function and was given 20% off as goodwill- incredible as I can’t actually spend it as they won’t deliver to my address! They suggested I order to my local store for pick up and couldn’t care less when I pointed out it was over an hour away. The chat went on for over an hour and the rep was rude, lacked knowledge and told me to email in- where I remained ignored.

Service is a joke, avoid!

Honestly wish I never purchased anything. 10 days on and still no delivery of my items. Showed as order shipped 3 days after purchasing but royal mail still haven't received it and no signs of it being delivered anytime soon. If you value your money, avoid at all costs. Do not buy from this shop.

Very poor customer service, still waiting for an order that I ordered last year. Customer services want nothing to do with it. Refund via bank claim

I bought a couple of sweaters. Sent one back. It's a bit of a shame they deduct £5 from your refund for returns. As overall the speed of delivery, quality of clothes, speed and ease of returns and same day refund (unusual) actually was a positive experience.
I think they're getting a lot of bad rap for the the return charge. Which is a shame but true it's outdated.
Decent company otherwise on this experience.

Items are great quality and delivery has been pretty good. Last time I ordered one item was on back order and ultimately out of stock. Communication about this was good and I was never charged for the item (just pre-authorisation).

I like the quality of garments.

Just what everybody else has said. They don't repay P&P if they mess up an order plus you have to pay to send it back. Don't waste your time or money.

£5 delivery fee, £5 return fee. Refunds take ages abs customer service clueless. Don’t buy from them.

My first time.

I have never purchased from this company before often looked but this time I saw a skirt on facebook and decided to try my 1st order, I have to say it was smooth and easy. I received updates on my order and it arrived as promised but more importantly the skirt is of excellent quality and the sizing is as advised to UK sizes. I will be shopping with you again at some point.

I paid for next day delivery for my package, but now it's been delayed for 2 additional working days. I bought these for holidays which I will get on the flight tomorrow, now I am not sure I will get it in time...

Placed an order online. No email comms at all, emailed them and no response. A week later checked my Paypal account and the order is now described as cancelled. Won't be shopping with these clowns again.

Just received an item which cost me £18. I was going to return it because the style is awful, but at £5 return fee I rather keep it and give it to someone. The other item I bought, on sale at £20, I will keep, but it looks cheap and nasty. I don't know what happened to A&F clothing. I used to trust them implicitly, for the good quality material and softness, and for years they never let me down, but these last couple of years they have been awful, but are still expensive. they must have change manufacturers and/or specifications, which is a shame, because there is hardly any good quality clothes shop for children
