First time dealing with A&F, never again

First time dealing with A&F. Wish I read the reviews first. Ordered an item online. Discovered by chance the next day that the same item if ordered through their app was cheaper. Went onto their customer service chat. Long delays in responses, couldn’t seem to grasp the issue and then essentially said ‘too bad’ I should have ordered through the app. Will return the item once received on principle. Rather do without it than play their marketing games. Wouldn’t order from this Company again.

Poor Quality and Dismissive Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the products and the customer service I received. I purchased two pairs of trousers a little over two months ago for over £70 each, and both are already falling apart, bobbling and showing clear signs of wear that are completely unacceptable at this price point. When I raised the issue, I was told that nothing could be done as the “return request” period had expired. My concern, however, was not about simply returning them, but about the fact that such expensive items should not be deteriorating after just a few months. Unfortunately, customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, repeatedly pointing to the expired returns window instead of addressing the real issue of quality. For the cost, I expected far better, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing.

Abercrombie BELLEVUE - ruined A&F for our whole family

Abercrombie - Bellevue, WA
Worst experience at A&F I have ever had. The girls “working” were huddled together around the register, until customers started coming up. Then they all ran to the back and left one girl by herself. Eventually another came out, but every one of them seemed upset to be there. I was trying to return some items that were past the 30 day return policy, which I was just wanting store credit for. I had my receipt, tags attached, nothing worn, purchased full price, and pulled it up on my app as well. Leslie was the girl who helped me and she had major attitude with me saying that only VIP members could return past 30 days. I asked her how I become a VIP member, and she stated that I needed to spend $500. I showed her my receipt again to show her that just that transaction alone was over $500, purchased online, logged into my account. She said she’d check my status again and then said “um, I will be right back”. Then went into the back, leaving no one at the register, and returned with a pose of employees to tell me that they could not offer any sort of return on any of the items (which was only 3 of 8 items I purchased on this transaction). I was obviously disappointed that I couldn’t return/exchange anything, but I was not aggressive or rude, even when Leslie was rude to me. I started to feel extremely threatened by the group of girls (employees) starting to form, and do not recommend anyone go to that store alone. I’m very bummed because I have found Abercrombie to have great quality from all of our online purchases, but I unfortunately will no longer shop there or support their sister brands/stores. The “Manager” that was there was named Joplin and she was present during the end part of my experience, but all she did to “help” was point to the return policy sign on the counter. I really hope she’s not actually a manager, however it would explain the rest of the employees behavior if she’s leading them (or falsely representing). I love A&F products, for myself and for my kids, but we will unfortunately be parting ways with this brand after the in person experience I had today. If you also love A&F, don’t ruin it by going to their location in Bellevue.

Paid for Express Delivery and told…

Paid for Express Delivery and told order would arrive on the 3rd, I was then told it would arrive on the 4th, I have now been told it's going to be the 5th. When cancelling the order was mentioned they just ignore any contact and Customer service is non existent, phone number doesn't work. A terrible experience so far this company and doubt I will ever order again from them

Procédure de remboursement rendue volontairement compliquée

La procédure Worldpay lors d'un retour est rendue compliqué par un manque d'information.
Ils ont des échanges très ambigus, se contredisent et donne cette sensation d'être mené en bateau.
Obligé de passer par European Consumer Centre pour faire pression.
Je ne recommande pas. Que de temps perdu..

Disponibilità sul sito non aggiornate

Per farla breve al momento del pagamento di un articolo che risultava disponibile sul sito, mi arriva un messaggio che l'articolo non è disponibile. I soldi sono stati però prelevati dalla carta di credito come pre autorizzazione e per vederli di nuovo devo aspettare fino a 7 giorni. Assurdo, perché il problema è nel mancato aggiornamento sul sito circa la non più disponibilità dell'articolo. Per questo errore non ho né disponibilità sulla carta di credito e ovviamente non ho il prodotto.

Out of Stock Mess and Sizing Issues

My order was cancelled 4 days after I placed it because the item was out of stock. For a company of this size, it’s surprising they can’t keep their website stock updated in real time, or at least within 24 hours. I had ordered these pants for a specific date, so this delay completely wasted my time.

I re-ordered a different pair, but they came in too small (my fault). Still, the entire process of trying to find the right pants with them dragged on for about 10 days. I just wish their site had more accurate sizing details and real-time inventory updates, it would have saved me a lot of frustration.

Dont care about their customers

Royal Mail failed to deliver my package, told me to contact Abercrombie to organise a refund through royal mail and Abercrombie rudely told me they cant contact their own courier partner and there's nothing they can do! So I have now lost £266 from a company I spend a lot of money with and they're not willing to help at all

Retoure wird nicht erstattet

Ich bin eigentlich Stammkunde bei Abercrombie und schicke alles fristgerecht und ordentlich zurück. Dieses Mal sollen anscheinend 2 Produkte, die sehr teuer waren gefehlt haben und der Kundenservice streitet ab, dass ich sie zurückgeschickt habe, was nicht der Fall ist. Ich habe die Retoure gemeinsam mit meinem Freund verpackt der bezeugen kann dass alles im Paket war. Der Kundenservice hilft auch nicht weiter. Telefonisch sagt man mir, man könne in dem Fall nicht helfen - das müsse die Fachabteilung machen und schriftlich braucht eine Antwort mind. 5 Tage. Auf meine letzte E-Mail wurde gar nicht mehr geantwortet. Dokumentiert wirklich alles ganz genau, wenn ihr was zurückschicken wollt um Beweise zu haben!

LETTERALMENTE gli unici jeans che posso usare!
Abercrombie ha letteralmente gli unici jeans che stiano bene su una clessidra ⏳ stretti in vita, e che cadono perfettamente su fianchi e sedere! Ne ho 8-9 paia, nessun altra marca ha una vestibilità come i Curve Love. Mai più senza!

Wrong size once again.

Ordered a top, XXL. size guide 47.5" to 50" came this morning XXL on the tag but 59" chest.. very poor from a premium clothing manufacturer.
Not the first time I have ordered and the delivered size is way off..
Now got the hassle of repacking and returning..still waiting for a proper response from the company.
Spoke to customer service they agreed to refund my money and not return the top which is agreeable.
All I need now is to find someone with. 59" chest to give it too..

Terrible Customer Service …

My husband ordered a cardigan on line and unfortunately it was the wrong size. The only place in the country that has stock is in The Trafford Centre Manchester. I requested that they send me the correct size and was told that they couldn't do that. I asked for the product to be sent to a store in London but their computer system would not allow. I contacted head office and received a negative response, systems don't allow. When are humans going to start taking accountability again. In this day and age surely this is a simple request. Terrible customer service. No one wanting to put themselves out for a loyal customer.

I would strongly advise caution before…

I would strongly advise caution before ordering from this company. I placed an order and encountered ongoing issues that were never properly resolved. Despite repeated attempts to contact customer service, communication was slow, unhelpful, and often ignored altogether.

To make matters worse, I am still being charged through Klarna for an item I never received or was forced to return due to poor service — with no confirmation of refund or cancellation. The lack of accountability is unacceptable, and I’ve now had to consider legal routes just to get a basic resolution.

This has been one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Crap

Sent the completely wrong item to me so I started the returns process and sent the item back correctly as directed. Rather than send me a refund they sent me the same item back again. Woeful service and won't buy anything from this store again

very quick delivery

I ordered a dress online on Sunday morning using the standard delivery service with estimated delivery date a week late but turned up the following day so very pleased. The dress is lovely material, well made and fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier

I cannot believe a company of this size…

I cannot believe a company of this size is so appalling.
Did a massive haul for my daughter, sent a lot of it back and it seems to have missing in return. They seem to think that is not their issue and could not care less. They won’t investigate or refund, literally couldn’t care less as they have my money and that suits them. Have had to open a dispute with my card. Will never shop with them again, not that they will care about that either.
