This was an incredibly rewarding experience overall. I was able to build meaningful connections in both my professional and personal life, which made my time abroad even more valuable. It also gave me the opportunity to apply what I had been studying in a completely new environment. This kind of hands-on experience has become more difficult to find in my city, where opportunities in my industry have recently become more limited.

My internship experience was excellent. I worked on real data tasks, including cleaning and organizing datasets and building Python scripts with pandas to automate filtering and reporting. The team was supportive, provided clear guidance, and helped me grow quickly. I learned practical skills, improved my workflow, and gained confidence working on real projects.

Tilly has been very friendly and patient with me. The process was easy to follow and we are frequently in touch. I felt supported throughout the application and the internship.

My time with Global Impact Initiative honestly meant a lot to me. I wasn’t just “an intern”, I felt like part of the team. Got placed at a horrible company at first but within a week was placed at a different company after telling the program coordinator what was going on. Extremely professional and understanding staff! The weekend trips and other events organised with the other interns are all extremely helpful in getting comfortable in your program location and it’s super easy to make friends! Definitely a good cv boost as an added bonus!

This internship was one of the greatest decisions of my life. Getting to meet all of these amazing people from all over the world and work closely with another culture for a few weeks was super enlightening and is an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. The coordinators were super kind and helpful, allowing me to enjoy my trip and get the most out of my internship.

Interning in Singapore was probably the best program I could've participated in this past summer. Not only did I gain tangible technical skills in bond pricing and market analysis as I helped close a $60 million bond deal, but I also got the chance to develop my soft professional skills as I got to interact directly with C-suite executives and had multiple chances to present my work or thoughts in team meetings. Beyond being incredibly helpful for my professional development, this program also gave me a wider appreciation for Southeast Asia. As I was in Singapore, I was able to travel around on the weekends to explore different countries across Southeast Asia, and participating in the local culture and eating local food were core memories that I won't forget.

My Absolute Internship experience helped me learn more about different work cultures and how language barriers can affect the workplace. It also helped grow my time management and independent skills that can be used in the future. My coordinator, Bastien Kahn, was extremely helpful and flexible in finding an internship that was most suitable for me. Great experience overall!

If you are looking for an experience to immerse yourself in another culture while being in the workforce, this is the thing to do. London has amazing food and the people are extremely nice.

It was awesome! The whole team was super helpful and answered any questions I had. The only issue that I saw/heard was about some of the placements took longer than anticipated. I know it made some people nervous having to wait. Though waiting for my placement made me nervous, I ended up in an amazing place and loved my internship. The trips and planned events were wonderful and the team was super considerate and amazing.
