Having used them twice for mortgages before, they were a natural choice for me, but the mortgage advisor who I had not met before in Edinburgh was terrible. Absolutely hopeless and gave unacceptable recommendations. After a failed application, I had to go elsewhere to someone else who somehow managed to easily get a mortgage with a well known highstreet bank without incident. I will not be returning to Aberdein Considine.

Dealt with Mums house sale as she went into a home, only now 12 months after the sale have they realised not all funds had been released to Mum and they have sent her a cheque, she died in April and her estate was dealt with by the same company albeit a different area. The completion of the estate was the biggest waste of money ever, they rarely got in touch, there was hardly any correspondence regarding the process and I was left to chase them. Very rarely was the office phone answered and I left voice message after voice message, the estate was eventually closed but only after I raised a complaint.

I’ve been using Aberdein Considine as letting agents in Aberdeen for over 8 years, but this was my first property sale with them—and it couldn’t have gone better! Jordan and the team were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire process, making it seamless from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

They’re incredibly responsive and supportive, we reached out online to them and a number of other solicitors on a Friday evening about selling our house in Musselburgh. Aberdein Considine came straight back to us by phone on Saturday morning, some other organisations we had to chase to get a response after almost two weeks.

On assessing our home for an estimated value, Aberdein took the time to get to know us and understand the property.

We took some time to decide if we were ready to go on the market, while it felt like some other firms were pressuring us to progress, Aberdein Considine reiterated that they were there for us when we were ready and reassured us it was ok to take our time.

Their fees were transparent and well explained, the final stages were very smooth and the team easy to speak with. The Elm Row office being open on Saturday morning also gave us more flexibility with handing over keys in advance which took a lot of stress away from moving day.

We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Aberdein Considine to friends and family and would certainly look to work with them in the future. Thanks again, for your help.
