Hi I’m very disappointed in the service I have received from Acorn. Unfortunately I have suffered a stroke therefore I had to have a Stairlift installed. I have had to call on them twice to service my chairlift the first time was ok the second time it stopped just before turning the corner to go up my stairs making it difficult to get off the chairlift however I did eventually. As I was told they don’t answer calls at night I stayed on the floor all night resulting in me being taken by ambulance to hospital and staying there for two days. This set my progress back considerably . They did send me a bill for this then withdrawing it. I thought this was a reliable Company unfortunately for me it is not. I want a chairlift I can rely on it is a matter of quality of life for me. I’m so disappointed with this Company

Acorn stair chairlift has been wonderful. My husband has major knee n back problems so using the lift has been so helpful. I’ve pulled a muscle in my leg n have been using as well. I have even sent my groceries up. Life is so much easier now. Thank you

The whole process from deciding what would be best suit us until the Stairlift was installed and operational was done professionallly and with minimum fuss. We have absolutely no complaints at all.

From start to finish - Acorn are a great company to deal with - quick responses, good systems and staff. The stair chair installation process was especially well managed.

The Stairlift was installed last Tuesday, and was used once every day until Saturday. On Saturday morning when I used it, it stopped halfway up the stairs. I rang Acorn and they said they couldn't get anyone to come out until the following Tuesday (today). The technician came out this morning, and spent 4.5 hours working on it to make it work. Let's see if it's OK now

I have a most beautiful garden but, because I am 88, I have to be uber careful navigating it. Since I had my outside Acorn stairlift installed or my UpMeDownMe chair as I call it, it has become a place of great pleasure. Comes 5 o`clockish I take my vodka tonic and, as the sun sets behind the magnificent autumn trees, like some wonderful theatrical scene I follow it step by step...fabulous, such joy!

Efficient and professional service

All our interactions with staff prior to purchase were friendly, informative and helpful. Importrtantly for us there was no high pressure.

Installation went ahead as scheduled. The installer was professional and carefully explained how to use the stairlift and carry out simple regular maintenance. He also oversaw our first few uses and provided help if needed.
There were no 'hiccups' in the entire process.
