I spent innumerable hours communicating with Adventures Croatia, planning a very detailed customized trip for a group of 16 active, retired travelers to Slovenia and Croatia. My questions and requests were always handled most professionally and promptly. The company did everything they could to make our trip everything we hoped for. In the end, the trip went off as smoothly as could possible be expected.
Our bus driver and guides at various sites were excellent. Everyone in the group had a great time.

My husband and I had the most fun two weeks trip, half of the time was in Croatia and the other half was in Italy!
We would’ve not made it without Sandra, she was so accommodating, very communicative and super pleasant to work with! We met the best staff and enjoyed every destination.
We can’t wait to plan our next trip with her!

My husband and I visited Croatia in May. We tried putting our own itinerary together, but decided to find an expert so that we would not miss a thing. I am so thankful for Sandra, with Adventures Croatia. She put the perfect trip together for us with no detail left undone so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. She took care of every hotel reservation, entrance fee, transportation need, and meals we talked about having her book. We were given a full itinerary (which also included leisure time) that included names and numbers of everyone one that would be of service to us. Adventures Croatia has an excellent network with local guides and hotels. Everyone was where Sandra said they would be at the perfect time, and we enjoyed each and every person.

I can't say enough about Sandra's professionalism. She took time to understand what we were looking for and what type of travel we like. All to perfection. We had the perfect experience.

We now have a love for Croatia and the people because of this amazing trip. We now know we will go back to see even more of the beautiful people/country. AND, I will not hesitate to call Adventures Croatia to set it up.

My daughter and I went to Croatia and used Sandra at Adventures Croatia. She made a personalized itinerary with excursions based on our interests. The guides and drivers throughout the trip were courteous, professional and punctual. I will definitely use them again for my next trip back.

Everything went smoothly just as planned, all drivers and guides were very good. They provided personal insights and restaurant advice. The hotels were clean, well situated, with friendly helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. Among other things we went on a truffle hunt, tasted brandy, toured an oyster and mussel farm (best oysters and mussels I’ve ever tasted), did a cooking school, hiked at Krka which was wonderful, and took a boat to the blue cave. Our tour was 18 to 25 of September. We would absolutely use this travel company again.

From start to finish, the Adventures Croatia team was responsive, customer focused, and easy to work with. Mimi and team created a wonderful itinerary for our 8-day trip and gave us access to private tour companies that allowed us to personalize our experience (and perhaps access to things that aren't easily available to the public). We also were comforted in the fact that they were always one step ahead by contacting our tour guides and porters to make sure they were on time and waiting for us. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to create a more customized experience in Croatia - these people know their country and have excellent connections throughout!

We used Adventures Croatia to plan our 11-day trip starting from Zagreb and ending in Dubrovnik. Our agent, Mimi, took care of planning just about every detail. She organized our itinerary including our hotels, excursions and transportation. While our schedule was quite busy, as we covered a lot of ground, it all fell into place seamlessly. Our trip included hotels in Zagreb, Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik. The excursions included trips to 2 National Parks (Plitvice and Krka), ziplining in Cetina, walking tours in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, biking and boating in Hvar, wine-tasting in Ston, then boating and kayaking in Dubrovnik. Considering that we planned the trip on the later side, Mimi really pulled everything together quite nicely. In addition to getting a printed, organized itinerary of each day we also received any tickets we needed for excursions and /or transportation. Additionally, she took the time to discuss the trip with me, in detail, the week before we left. Any reservations I had about traveling were eliminated. She did the hard work of planning, and we were left with the easy part which was to enjoy our vacation!

Our trip was carefully planned and crafted to meet our desires by Jelena Hranjec Gunjaca and her able staff. Everyone--from the drivers to the guides--were chosen for the professionalism she herself exemplifies. Our accommodations offered stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the Old Cities--always within a short walking distance of cultural sites. It is difficult to offer any negatives. Food, wine and people made the trip even more amazing. We highly recommend Adventures Croatia!

Adventures Croatia is the most incredible tour company I’ve had the pleasure of working with! Highly professional, attentive to details and responsive. My trip was wonderful… the private transfers were a surprise I must have overlooked (!), the yacht and its crew we’re amazing. The food kept coming and was always 4-5 star. And Croatia! The towns and tours were beautiful and informative. Then we had time to explore on our own. It worked out wonderfully. I had a problem while on tour and the Adventures Croatia people helped me immediately. I highly recommend them and only wish the trip had lasted longer.

Our trip was spectacular. Adventures Croatia listened to all of our interests. We were able to see and do many exciting things: cooking class, wine tasting, enjoyed Croatian food prepared especially for us, oyster and mussel tasting, and so much more.
The tour guides were friendly and well informed of the area. Hotels were beautiful and provided a great breakfast to help get our day started.

Adventures Croatia took care of us from the planning to the very last day of our trip. This was our first cruise type exerience and it was just the right amount of passengers and length of trip. The itinerary was well thought out and the guides were all amazing. Our leader on the boat was so knowledgeable and really taught us so much. The boat was very clean as were the cabins. One of the many highlights was the trip to the oyster farm where we were treated to the best mussels and oysters I have ever had.

Absolutely fantastic down to every last detail. No gaps, no issues. Easy communication through the entire process.

My wife and I had the most wonderful vacation in Croatia due to the amazing suggestions and planning by Ines Palac and her team. All her suggestions turned into tremendous experiences. We were going to drive ourselves but she talked us into letting them provide drivers and it was just perfect. I could go on and on about the experience but merely suggest trying Adventure Croatia when you are ready to experience that beautiful country. Croatia is the most photogenic country we have ever experienced, so if you are a fan of photography, you will be in heaven capturing how beautiful and magical Croatia is.

All of the Croatian people we met along the way were wonderful - the drivers, guides, hotel staff, you name it and they were all on point. They often went above and beyond to help ensure our trip was as perfect as possible.

The 4 and 5-star hotels were excellent and always located in the perfect place, so no public transport was ever needed. Walking never felt so good or exhilarating!

If you are a Foodie, you will love Croatia! Some of the best food and wine we have ever experienced.

10 days was an excellent introduction (Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Zadar, Split, Krka, Šibenik, Plastovo, Hvar, Malo Grablje, Vis island, Budihovac islet, Pakleni islands, Ston/Mali Ston, Konavle, and Dubrovnik) that has given us so many memories to cherish. The country literally has everything and will appeal to travelers no matter their age, preferences or hobbies.

My wife and I give 4 enthusiastic thumbs up to Adventures Croatia. We have fallen in love with Croatia and can’t wait to return! Hvala and Živjeli!

AiC had excellent ideas for our trip, but when we were bait-and switched on reservations they made for us, they offered no help or compensation. They will not stand behind the services they sell you. They tell you to call with any problems, but when you do, they say to handle it yourself, even though they made/paid the reservations. Not a company capable of handling the service at the price they charge.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Croatia and have to give an enormous thanks to the wonderful team at Adventures Croatia for making it a reality. Mimi Kent Bohm and Pamela Robinson in particular were stars and made the whole experience seamless by providing us with a detailed itinerary, fantastic recommendations and answered any questions we had before and during our vacation. A particular highlight of our trip was the ‘Taste Of Split’ tour, organized by Adventures Croatia, and we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it! Our guide, Ana immediately put us at ease and we learned the fascinating history behind Diocletian's Palace first thing. Once she took us around to all of the points of interest, we dined at not one but three lovely restaurants learning about the olive oil culture, wine, and enjoying Croatian dishes together. The servers were so knowledgeable and passionate about their craft! The food was excellent and there was plenty for the four or five of us. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Split and we would recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful City. We are going home with some olive oil from UJE, taking with us the unforgettable “taste of Split” and fond memories of the friendly people along the way! Our final thoughts leaving Croatia are simply “Why don't more Americans travel to this beautiful place!” We’ll be back soon.
