This was the trip of a lifetime! We are thankful for Adventures Croatia's knowledge and time planning our trip. Without them, we would have missed so many opportunities we now treasure. Having guides proved invaluable. We learned so much about the history of Croatia from them. It made our trip so much more meaningful than if we had tried to plan ourselves. We would have never gone on a biking excursion in Hvar without AC. That was probably the most special experience we have had traveling as a family. If you plan on going to Hvar, please don't miss this opportunity.

We sincerely miss our last guide Denis, as we feel he's now a member of our family!

AC's formula for planning a meaningful and active trip catered to our interests was phenomenal. We had the perfect mix of history, nature and adventure that kept our family engaged for the entire trip. We couldn't wait to find out what adventure was next. We spent 8 days in Croatia, but honestly, we will be back. There's so much we haven't done.

We will be letting anyone with interests in traveling to Croatia about AC. We hope to return with Ac for a scout trip in the future as well!

The 9 days our family (10 and 11 y.o.) spent traveling around Croatia was the trip of a lifetime. It was the perfect balance of culture/history (city tours and scavenger hunts), island hopping via boat (blue caves, swimming in quiet alcoves, snorkeling/paddle boarding in crystal clear water), adventure (zip lining, truffle hunting, oyster farming) and AMAZING and all local food and wine throughout the entire trip. Adventures Croatia did a great job with booking our hotels and transfers and striking the right balance of activity, foodie stuff (sorry kids!) and free time to enjoy the beauty of Croatia. I also can't say enough great things about the people, the accommodation and welcoming of tourists, the cleanliness and overall vibe. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!

This is the cruise of a lifetime. The beauty of the Adriatic coastline is best experienced by this island hopping tour. Ample time to swim and view the scenery, then ample time to enjoy the unique towns when docked. Itinerary, crew, cruise ship, food, and tour leader cant be beat. Ship was extremely comfortable. Only negative was acoustics in the dining room, which could be easily fixed. We did have issues with very loud music and late night parrying well past the midnight quiet time hours. I think Goran did a good job trying to keep our diverse group in sync, but late nites were an issue. Special kudos to Goran, Lisa, and Boyana.

We had an excellent experience with Adventures Croatia. All of the drivers and guides were of the best quality. Everything had been arranged and all we had to do was sit back and enjoy. The only thing they could not control was the weather and the crowds and we lucked out on both of those. I would highly recommend using Adventures Croatia to plan your next trip.

We return home yesterday after almost three weeks around Croatia, from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. The organization was excellent. Drivers and guides always on time and pending on any detail.

Adventures Croatia was fantastic! They worked with us wonderfully to plan our trip just the way we wanted, and they supported us all along the way with an on the ground contact who kept in touch when we had questions. We got the royal treatment by all the hotels and guides who they arranged for us. I highly recommend working with they to plan your next trip!

My wife and I just returned from one of the most delightful tours we ever had, and we have traveled the world for over 40 years. Our guides were wonderful, the hotels were perfect and the countries were beautiful, pristine and fascinating. My highlight was the Postojna Cave, but the old towns of Zagreb and Lubljana were close behind. My wife's favorite was the truffle hunt due to seeing the exceptional relationship between the truffle dog and her handler. It was amazing. I don't want to minimize the islands as they were gorgeous; however, to my surprise, I preferred the land tour particularly the Istrian peninsula.

My wife and I and two of her siblings and their spouses just returned from an eighteen day custom tour of Croatia that was put together for us by Adventures Croatia. We told them generally where we wanted to go, the types of hotels we wanted to stay in, and the sorts of experiences we wanted to have. Adventures Croatia absolutely nailed it for us. Adventures Croatia put together an itinerary of fantastic cities and islands for our tour; the hotels they selected were all great and excellently located; they arranged several excursions, from boat trips to bike trips to cooking classes, which provided us a deeper and fascinating look into Croatian lifestyle, culture and cuisine; and all of the guides and drivers provided for us were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and interested in sharing their knowledge and love for their country with us. Croatia is a beautiful, diverse country that Adventures Croatia enabled us to explore in the way that suited us, and I am confident they can do the same for you.

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Slovenia and Croatia. Everything was perfect! Every detail was thought out ahead of time and the choices of activities and hotels was amazing. The crew in Croatia kept track of us and even notified us when a road closure caused us to change the itinerary slightly. I would definitely recommend this travel agency.

We had a great time in Croatia.The tour guides are excellent and experienced.
Our driver Josip who picked us up from the airport and drove us to many hotels and tourist attractions was also very patient, calm as he maneuvered the traffic in the cities and long distances on the highways.

We had an amazing trip to Croatia! Everything was planned out beautifully. We were always picked up on time by drivers who were friendly, knowledgable and extremely proud to share information about their country. Each activity was just as it was described, and the overall trip was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of adventure and free time to enjoy the country. I could not recommend this organization more!

We used Adventures Croatia to plan our 8 day trip to the region. We knew where we wanted to end up, but being unfamiliar with the area, we had no idea how to structure our vacation or what would be the most fruitful places to visit (and we didn't have time to do our own research/planning). Adventures Croatia was wonderful! Lisa Albert talked with me by phone to assess our goals and interests, then she put together an itinerary for me to peruse. Then we had another conversation for me to give her feedback, and to fine-tune activities or other specifics. In the end she gave us a full, 8-day itinerary that was full of fun activities, included lots of time for us to explore on our own and/or have down time as needed, and had all details planned (like ferry tickets, car transport, where to meet guides, etc.). All the guides she arranged were great - very personable, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly with very good or impeccable English. It was so worth the money to not have to worry about anything, and we experienced so many amazing things! We really got a sense of the region, the history, and the culture.

Everything was amazing and extremely well put together! My family and I enjoyed both Croatia and Montenegro immensely.

Four of us (2 couples) just returned from a 9-day Croatia Tour in June arranged by Adventures Croatia. Starting with their "Signature Tour," we worked with Ines Palac to craft a custom itinerary that closely matched our interests with respect to food, art, nature, side trips, and historic sites. Ines had excellent suggestions and was helpful with all our changes during the planning. The itinerary was clearly laid out, and included historical notes and photos. We traveled by ferry and by private van throughout, starting with Split to Trogir, with side trips to Salona, Krka National Park, and Šibenik. Then Hvar Island, Korčula (including the once-a-week Sword Dance), Mljet National Park (reached by speedboat), Ston, and Dubrovnik.

While Croatia's peak season was already starting in June, many times we found ourselves and our guide or driver experiencing a demonstration, a tasting (chocolate, wine, olive oil, ...), or a visit far away from any crowds, or even any other tourists. When a cooking lesson had to be cancelled at the last minute (due to a death in the cook's family), the in-country staff was able to substitute a memorable day of events on just an hour's notice. We had a number of guides, who were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. Logistical arrangements with hotels, ferries, driver pickups, guides, tours, and visits all happened seamlessly.

Adventures Croatia has a fine grasp on how to make Croatian travel easy, fun, and affordable. We give them our highest recommendation!

Adventures Croatia did an amazing job of putting together a wonderful family vacation for us. First of all I would recommend Croatia for anyone. It is beautiful, clean,safe and the people are wonderful. Adventures Croatia set us up in great hotels and organized all our activities. Everything was organized and the guides and drivers were fantastic. I really can’t say enough good things.

Our trip - planned by Adventures Croatia - was fantastic. We never stopped moving; there was so much to see and do. As we were 5 people (grandmother, two grandchildren [14 and 17] and the parents), we could have missed some great adventures. But our trip was planned so that all the activities were do-able and enjoyable by everyone. We rafted; we kayaked; we went truffle hunting; we went sightseeing; we ate at all kinds of places and sampled all kinds of foods. Hotels were well-chosen. Guides were superb. Nothing went wrong. We've all traveled a great deal; and our two-week trip from Istria (in the north) to Dubrovnik in the south was truly one of the best we've all taken.

Right from the start Adventures Croatia impressed me because Ines Palac communicated responsively, no matter how small the question... sometimes no matter the 8-hr time difference! We had some specific requirements in our private group of six and Ines matched up our itinerary, transportation, hotel and excursion needs perfectly. Our boutique hotels were unique, well-appointed, and comfortable. Too bad we were always on the go because we could have stayed at each one a little longer. Hats off to our drivers and guides from Ljubljana: Peter, "Nick," and "Gigo." Our other guides Mario in Plitvice, Ana in Split, and Stanko on board the M/V Infinity were enjoyable, thorough and inspiring. They each shared a piece of their passionate Croatian hearts with us.
