I can't say enough wonderful things about Africa Natural Tours and I'm so glad we chose them!
All the staff we encountered, everyone from the desk and wait staff at the spring lands Hotel to our guides and Porter's on the mountain were amazing. Everyone we encountered seemed to have a good and always willing to help .My husband and must give the most thanks to our lead guide Mtui and David literally pushed and pulled me the last couple hours up the mountain and provided so much support and encouragement on summit night. I was about to quit for almost 4 hours into the summit attempt and he assured me I could make it to the top and we did make it to the point. I think I would have so many regrets if I had actually quite so I have to thank for this..Rony also has been very helpful I left a jacket at the hotel and he actually found it and made sure it was mailed back to me! And I received it ...we had also 2 days Safari Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater we had a lot of fun... Thanks again to all the staff at Africa natural tours for making this trip of a lifetime for me and my husband. This is definitely the best trip we have ever taken!

Safari in Tanzania national park In August we did a wonderful safari (Tanzania Classic) with Africa Natural Tours. The tour included the 4 parks Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.

The good experience started with the safari planning with Company. They were very responsive and the planing could be done via whatsapp as well, which was really helpful.

When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport in the evening, we were picked up by our driver guide. Right from the beginning he provided us with information about the history, the culture and of course the people of the country.

We spent one night in the African Tulip Hotel, which we liked all around. The next day we were picked up by Guide at the hotel. We drove to the Africa Natural Tours Office for a short safari briefing and then we started our adventure.

We started with Lake Manyara National Park, which was very impressive due to the vegetation and the birdlife. Also here guide provided us with a lot of information about the complete animal world and was able to answer all our questions in detail. Unfortunately we didn't see any tree climbing lions, which is what this national park is known for, but that's the way it is in nature and that's what a safari is all about.

The next day we continued past the. Ngorongoro Crater (with a stop at the viewpoint) to the Serengeti. On the way you pass some Massai villages (which you can also visit) and we just admired the amazing landscape. Just in time for lunch we arrived at the gate to the Serengeti, where our guide prepared us, like every day, a great lunch (cooked by the camp staff). Arrived in the Serengeti the game drive continued and we saw cheetahs, lions, leopards, wildebeests and many other incredibly beautiful animal species.

On the fourth day we had a full day in the Central Serengeti. In the morning we saw two lion brothers near our camp, who had torn a buffalo shortly before. This is a memory we will never forget. The whole day of Serengeti went by in a flash, because of all the spectacular views and animals we spotted.

On the fifth day we had half a day in the Serengeti for another game drive. At the end of the park we were bid farewell by a pack of lions who passed directly by our car, only to drink two meters behind us from a puddle. From the Serengeti we went to Tortilis Camp near the Ngorongoro crater. This camp was the most impressive for us, as we felt like we had spent the night in the middle of the jungle. It was just fantastic.

The next day we left very early for the crater. Until now we had seen 4 of the 5 Big Five. The only thing missing was the black rhino. At the bottom of the crater we were greeted by a colourful variety of animals. The impressive thing about the Ngorongoro is that 25000 animals live on a relatively small area. After about one hour guide got the hint (the drivers share important information with each other) that the rhinoceros was sighted at the other end of the crater. So he gave all his driving skills to the best and we reached the rhino just in time.

Our last stop was the Tarangire National Park, which is also called small Serengeti. It is mainly known for its large herds of elephants. Here we had a 2 hour game drive in the afternoon and another half day game drive the next day. Also this park inspired us very much, in particular the swamp area and the large herds of elephants are unique. After lunch we headed back to Arusha, where our guide dropped us off at the airport.

All safari nights we stayed in the different tortilis camps, where we were very satisfied with our "tent", which was way more than a tent, with double bed, hot shower and toilet, the food and the staff.

All in all we were very satisfied and it was one of the best holidays of our lives. Africa Natural Tours took wonderful care of us and we couldn't have imagined a better guide than him (sorry I forgotten his name). We can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful time in Tanzania.

Amazing safari in serengeti and ngorongoro .We were a group of 4 friends for 4 days safari. Our guide was and we had great time. The company took care of everything, and our experience was just perfect. Our guide know a lot about every aspect of the safari - animal, geography, geology... it was extremely interesting. He alleys made sure that throughout our game drive we'll get the best chance to locate and watch as many animals as possible.

I booked a 3 day-long Mt. Meru hike with Africa Natural Tours and I had a great time! Godfrey’s team made sure we had enough food and supplies the whole time. The hike is not difficult, but be prepared for a bit of steepness and dust. Everyone made it to the top easily. It was a great aclimatization for my Kilimanjaro hike which I made afterwards. Huts are great, with good matresses, soft enough for sleeping, running toilets and also great rooftop places to watch sunrise or sunset. Be prepared to tip your crew as some members from our team didn’t know about this part. Tip should include 3 porters , cook plus some tip for a guide and assistant guide. I would recommend Africa Natural Tours to anyone who is looking for a well organized trip at reasonable price :-)

Me and my friends booked a trip with aAfrica natural tours for a 7 day hike in the machame route. Little did we know that was the beginning. Godfry the operations manager was so helpful he had us stay longer in moshi for more trips that planned for us and sure we were comfortable doing them. Also during the kilimanjaro hike martin kiiza peter, and gabriel were so much help through the hike that they went above and beyond to make sure we summited the mountain. Seriously folks you won't get better service than the workers here at Africa natural. The best company I booked a 6 day Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route. I initially chose them because of their cheap prices but the service was fantastic and exceeded the companies costing more than twice the price, I was picked up on arrival and dropped to my accommodation, I felt everything ran smoothly and was well organized.
I was climbing solo but had one guide, 3 porters and a chef, the meal portions were huge and delicious and I was overfed if anything, Martin the guide was very knowledgeable on the mountain and helped me to reach the summit with relative ease.
I would book with them again without hesitation

We had a fantastic trek on Kilimanjaro - Lemosho route - with Africa Natural Tours. Everything worked very well, organisation (starting way before day 1, with a lot of help and guidance received before even arriving In Tanzania), guide (Gabriel was very knowledgeable and passionate), accommodation (tents were spacious and warm even in cold and windy days), food (excellent job for the chef in challenging circumstances and for the porters who carried the food all the way).I can not stress enough the importance of having a good agency organising the trek, treating it's staff well and encouraging us all the way to the summit and after a lot of research, I'm very happy I booked with Africa Natural Tours.

I’m just back from a wonderful trip up Kilimanjaro, and would like to tell you what a wonderful job George and Julius did. George was my guide, and Julius was my assistant guide, as well as pitching my tent and serving me my food every night. I believe there were originally going to be two people in my group but the other person must have canceled so that meant that I had an incredible amount of one-on-one attention lavished on me. George was a very enjoyable hiking partner and he did many extra things for me that he didn’t have to do, such as taking me on a side trip one evening when I expressed an interest in exploring. His English is excellent, and he is a fountain of information, not just about the natural history of the mountain but also about politics, history, and culture. He was conservative at first about keeping me safe, but once he got to know me and was able to appraise my physical abilities and level of experience, he allowed me more latitude, which made the trip a lot more fun. Julius, however, was the one who really rose to the occasion on this trip. On summit day, George asked him to accompany us for safety, so that we would be a group of three rather than just two. Julius went in front and I went in the middle. We passed the other groups, and by the time we were nearing Stella Point we were about an hour and a half ahead of the next group back. At this point it was becoming more and more clear that George was seriously sick. He hadn’t been on the mountain since before the rainy season, so he probably wasn’t quite as acclimatized as he could have been — and of course altitude sickness is not seriously fickle. Although I kept trying to convince him to head back down, he insisted on coming up as far as Stella Point, where he waited in the wind while Julius guided me to Uhuru. Julius was very confident, and obviously knew the mountain extremely well. In my opinion, Julius’s performance in this difficult situation is the best possible indicator of his readiness to step up to being a guide.
