Quality product and customer service!
My wife and I had seen a garden table and chairs set in a Garden Centre whilst visiting family a long way from our home. We noted the supplier (Alexander Rose) and upon our return looked up their website. The set was available, but the colour of the parasol we had seen and wanted was not avaialble. I phoned customer services who confirmed that the colour we wanted was no longer avaialble, but suggested I contact the distribution centre to check. A very helpful gentleman checked the storage area and found the only remaining parasol of the colour we wanted! He advised which base to use and arranged for both to be delivered. Upon arrival I had difficulty getting the parasol pole to sit snuggly into the base housing and was concerned about the measure of movement of the parasol. I sent a video of the movement. My concern about the movement was answered satisfactorily, and a request made to the workshop manager to phone me about the housing. The call took longer to come than I hoped, but resulted in some clear instruction and the assurance that if the remedy didn't work a replacement would be sent without question. I am impressed with both the quality of the product and, overall, the quality of pre and post purchase customer service.

Replacement cover
Replacement cover, the ends had been chewed by mice, while stored over winter in the garage. Glad l didn’t have to replace the whole parasol. I have had Alexander Rose parasols for as long as I can remember. There are cheaper options but in terms of longevity and quality, they can’t be beaten

Service and quality of products.
When I was chosen to pick a new bench by my church l knew I had to get it right. I’m a retired carpenter so I knew exactly what I was looking for. After days of fruitless searching I finally landed on the Alexander Rose website and my search was over. The bench made from Roble is absolutely magnificent. You won’t find a better bench in the UK.
Then I come to the dream team of Chester and Georgie. It was Chester who knows the product backwards that persuaded me to order the bench. Georgie who arranged to have the bench delivered on a specific date and time and Georgie got things absolutely spot on. I can’t thank Chester and Georgie enough for what they did for me.
If you are in the market for a beautiful bench made from beautiful wood then look no future than Alexander Rose.

Ordered online a new cover for 5' Alexander
rose bench seat to replace an old one . It arrived promptly and with clear instructions. Very pleased it is clearly an updated version, have placed a bucket on seat to allow airflow, per instructions,and used

I bought a seat cover for a 4ft bench…
I bought a seat cover for a 4ft bench seat. The product is fine but the delivery was a disaster. The order was placed in July 2025 but not received until 22nd January 2026 following delays importing the product from China. I commend the company for periodically notifying me of the delays but if ever there was an example of why we should be manufacturing products in this country rather than abroad this is it. This delay meant that my bench seat has been exposed to the elements at the time of the year when it needed to be covered up and I have been unable to apply the preservative treatment which I have bought from you.

The initial sales experience was good…
The initial sales experience was good but this product took 4 plus months to get here. The sales team did keep me updated but the delay was very disappointing.
Having received the order in January 2026 it meets the specifications but is vastly inferior in quality to the original cover purchases in 2020.
