Had the best time on the salkantay trek - might've got lucky with the weather but less so with the altitude sickness! Rolando and Raymundo were absolute stars and had our backs at every turn - not sure we would have enjoyed this amazing experience half as much without their expertise and humour. Beautiful camp sites and scenery, made better by great food from Alejandro and team too. Would recommend!!!

Excellent experience. Unforgettable memories with great friends made on the Salkantay trek. Rolando and Romando were the best guides who helped us through the long days. Thanks to our chef Alejandro for keeping us fed with delicious local cuisine.

Our guide Juan was very informative and helpful. He brought us for our tour to around Cusco, Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo. I'll recommend Juan and Alpaca Expeditions.

Juan was an amazing tour guide. We did the 2 day Cusco and Sacred Valley tour with him. He has deep knowledge about the Inca culture and the nature. He is patient in explaining and answers of questions. He is on time, good natured and has good recommendations for food. I will recommend him to anyone who comes to Cusco/Machu Pichu for a trip!

Juan Carlos H THE BEST tour guide and made the trip amazing and so memorable, along with Edwin!!! The trek was beautiful and the porters and chefs took great care of our group. We also met so many lovely people, both locals and others on the trip. I definitely recommend Alpaca if you’re planning a trip to the Inca trail!!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Juan Carlos (JCH) was exceptional and his assistant Edwin is a great guy and very helpful. The food was great, particularly considering hiwbgar everything needed to be trekked in. The amount of historical and cultural education was excellent. So informative. Make sure you are in shape and okay with getting up early.

Amazing experience. Did the 4 day Inca trail hike. Highly recommend Alpaca, they went above and beyond for us. Juan Carlos H and Edwin were our guides who were brilliant. The porters and chefs always made sure we were well fed and looked after. If you do Machu Picchu, Alpaca is the one!

Perfect organsation by Alpaca team with high level of service in the middle of high mountain area, lead by experienced guide and great story teller Juan Carlos. Great fun!

Die Organisation war perfekt. In diesen 5 Tagen und 4 Nächten gab es nichts was nicht gut durchdacht war. Angefangen von unserem Guide Frank "the Tank", unserem Chefkoch, unseren Trägern, die uns immer hilfsbereit zur Seite standen und die Wanderung zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis machten. Danke sehr!

Herlin, nosso guia, é uma pessoa unica, afavel, com muito conhecimento e realmente apaixonado pelo seu trabalho e cultura do seu povo, é um homem que tem orgulho de suas raizes. Nos sentimos muito acolhidos, o que tornou uma experiência incrivel em algo inesquecível. Ainda por cima, a comida estava incrivel, Soledad é uma cozinheira de mão cheia.

This was an amazing experience. Lucio was our tour guide and was just full of knowledge and the best guide we've ever had. Really well organised, amazing food. I felt like I learnt everything I needed to know about Inca history by the end! Would recommend to anyone!

Lucio was an incredible tour guide! He was so informative and he knew so much about the history and the local plants and wildlife. He was so encouraging, especially when the hike got tough in some parts. The entire expedition was so well organized and I had such a great time. Would recommend to anyone to experience the Inca trail in a short amount of time!

The trip was really well organised with a local guide. Before starting the trail we were given lots of information and we were able to rent what we needed. Henrry our guide was great at communicating information about the sites, he was very encouraging and made the Inca trail a lot of fun. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food lots of choice and different dishes everyday. Raul did an amazing job keeping us well fed throughout the trek. The porters also did an amazing job and were very friendly and helpful.

Really friendly and helpful team which made the whole experience enjoyable. The food cooked by chef Raul was consistently great and varied. Henrry our tour guide made the whole trip fun!!

We had a wonderful 2-day short Inca Trail Hike with Nilton and Ever! It was informative, it was fun and they took pretty well care of the group. We made enough breaks during our hike for drinking and for listening to interesting facts about flora, fauna or history. The lunch was freshly cooked and it was amazing. The cook and the porters also doing a great job. On the second day we learned ablot about Machu Picchu and the history of Peru in generel. Thank you for that once in a lifetime experience :)

Nilton and Ever were fantastic guides on a 2 day/1 night Machu Picchu experience! Nilton has a wealth of knowledge about the Peruvian and Incan culture. His English is perfect and was able to answer all questions. Also, Ever is a fantastic photographer and was always willing to help with photos! We had a fabulous trip- a bucket list trip! Definitely a must-do!
