Driver in a red Kia very bad driver and was rude to me talking in his own language he picked up from 35 aldwalk road going to admiral street and to top it off he basically nearly unalived me

Only book if not needing your lift on time, doesn’t matter when you book, even hours in advance, they’ll just show up whenever they want. Constantly taking on bookings they cannot do

I pre-booked a taxi with Alpha Cars the night before for 8am the next day, to take my Daughter to school because heavy rain was forecast and I don't have access to my car when my wife works 2 days a week. The taxi just didn't turn up, and there was no explanation. No contact whatsoever. This caused a lot of stress trying to get my daughters into school in the heavy rain. When I rang up to complain, they just said there wasn't enough drivers due to weather and school runs. But my daughter needed to go to school. I had pre-booked, does that NOT mean anything? Apparently not. They only allocate the drivers 15 minutes before the scheduled booking and suddenly realised there wasn't enough drivers. What is the POINT of pre-booking, it doesn't mean anything. Absolutely disgraceful service. I won't be using them ever again. They are on my Black LIst forever. Yours Disgruntled Crawley resident.

The driver did not know where the address was and I came too late. After closing time no sence of direction

me and my brother got in the car and waited for our mum to put the trolley away and then the driver was going to drive off with me and my 9 year old brother then i decided to say WE GOT TO WAIT FOR my mum then he said were is she in a rude way i said putting the trolley away. Next time they should pay more attention it frighting my 9 year old brother that was silent and was upset and worried the whole jounery home. im not being funny if the driver did drive us off with us i would complain to the company.

DO NOT under any circumstances use this taxi firm! Absolutely diabolical! We pre-booked a taxi at midday to bring us home from a venue at midnight… after waiting 10 minutes, no taxi arrived, so I rang. The lovely girl receiving the call (whose fault it wasn’t) told me it would be 20 minutes, as there were no available taxis in the area. The same thing happened 20 minutes later. Ended up ordering an UBER!

even though I had an issue with the booking, this was sorted very quickly, driver was great, very polite and professional. couldn't fault the experience even though I had an issue. would recommend.

What a very very horrible man that driver was, rude from start to finish. Asked him he's racist

Here’s an honest review. We shopped around and found alpha to be the cheapest. The booking was great, the pick up from the airport was great. The driver was awesome. And that’s it. The front desk person just took so long and was double and triple checking everything. I should have been able to just pick up and go. Nope, he took so long to finish the transaction. We were out 30 mins later. Drop off was even worse, we dropped off and there was one person serving 5 customer drop offs. The shuttle to the airport took ages and I ended up getting an uber because we were gonna miss our check in. I thought it would stop there. Nope, I was charged extra with no explanation. I emailed back and forth to find I was charged 2 extra days. I was then pawned off by their customer service rep, twice. Before I was put through to the branch manager. He seemed great and was easy to talk with. We found I was charged extra days and that was fine, their mistake. Have I got a refund yet? Nope. I hired on the 29th Sept and it’s now 12th Nov and crickets! Nothing. Just a terrible experience. My advice, don’t go with the cheapest. Hire from a place AT the airport. Save yourself some stress of making your flights on time. Do not recommend

Lorain and Dave are the best. Even when there busy they make time for us and have saved us in many situations. Can always rely on them.

Shocking service. Phoned on arrival at Terminal 5 to book a pick up to Ruislip (30mins max). . Were told they would leave immediately. Called an hour later- taxi not even dispatched ‘they are busy’. No apology or explanation.

Very pleased with service and the driver was super friendly and considerate. He allowed me to sit in the front as I get car sick and even asked us which route we would prefer to take at a point point where he had no preference

Booking a middle of the night taxi in advance was very easy but everything went downhill from there. Twenty minutes before pick up, they cancelled (a driver had an accident apparently but they should have been able to send a replacement) and they took much longer than they said to refund me. I had to chase them. The whole experience has been poor especially being a large family of 6 it's not really possible to find alternatives that quickly. We nearly missed our flight!

Never had a problem with alpha cars. Bookings always turn up, sometimes a few minutes late but that's no problem. Drivers have always been cordial. People that answer the phones are always willing to help

They might be ok for on the day within 30 minutes bookings but certainly not for any pre-books. Twice now they simply don’t turn up despite the app saying they’re en route. Totally unreliable

Booked a taxi about 12:45 today to be picked up at 2:45 in manor royal manhattan building I saw the driver go past put he never turned up 10 minutes go past and I get voicemail from driver I called back the driver was no where near me he kept saying he’s at the right place I tried explaining where to go but he kept talking over me so I said don’t bother I’ll get someone else to pick me up very annoyed and angry with today’s service for someone like myself who is vulnerable and doesn’t do well in hot weather I nearly passed out due to the heat I don’t recommend after today’s service I’ve used this company for a year

I do not recommend Alpha cars. Despite booking a taxi two days in advance, I had to wait for half an hour for a taxi. When I called the operator, he pretended to deceive me. For me, he simply lied, because when I drove, he said that the taxi would be there soon, it would be there in 5 minutes. On the application, he allocated me a driver, where it showed that it would be there in 4 minutes, then again it showed me a different driver and a different arrival time. After which I actually had to wait for half an hour. The operators were rude and impolite. I am very disappointed, especially since I spent a lot of money for these unprofessional services.

The Adelphi Hotel ordered a cab for me when driver arrived asked me my destination when said Lime Street Station. which is short distance from hotel he accelerated away despite me telling him that had mobility issues

Booked a 'dog' cab, and they turned up over an hour late and then complained about taking a dog. Told us to get out if we weren't happy with it. Disgusting attitude particularly after being so ridiculously late to collect us. Problem is Alpha Cars have the monopoly so we have no choice but to use them. Would never use again otherwise!
