nie wider Amano East Siede Berlin

Frühstück so lala,
Lärmbelästigung ganzen Tag bis in die Nacht.
Rechnung müssen wir trotz Beschwerde komplett begleichen:-(

AMANO bar Hauptbahnhof, wenn sie gerne unfreundlich begrüßt und als lästiger Gast empfangen werden wollen, sind sie hier richtig. Ich möchte nicht alles ausführen, aber so etwas habe ich in noch keinem anderen Hotel erlebt. Nie wieder.

Hotel amano grand central Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Wer Nachtruhe sucht, wird sie nicht finden. Das Hotel verwandelt sich in eine Diskothek. Finger weg.

Wir haben in Leipzig ein L-Apartment mit Balkon gebucht, bekommen haben wir ein M-Apartment mit Balkon - deutlich kleiner und ohne die angegebene Schlafcouch. An der Rezeption war erst von einer Überbuchung des Hotels die Rede, bevor schnell behauptet wurde, unser Zimmer wäre ein L-Apartment, die Fotos auf der Website wären wohl leider verwirrend. Eine adäquate Alternative (Zimmer mit Balkon und Schlafcouch) konnte man uns nicht anbieten. Erst nach mehreren Gesprächen wurde uns im Nachhinein etwas erstattet, der Betrag entsprach jedoch nichtmal der Differenz zwischen den Zimmerpreisen. Es wurde versichert, dass die Fotos auf der Hotelwebsite geändert werden - dies ist bis heute, mehrere Wochen später, noch immer nicht passiert.
Abgesehen davon ließ die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Auch hier gab es nach einer Beschwerde eine Erstattung von ca. 28€. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und würden sehr davon abraten dieses Hotel zu buchen. Dieser Urlaub hatte absolut nichts mit Entspannung oder Erholung zu tun. Ein Feueralarm am Abreisetag um 6 Uhr morgens war dann noch ein passender Abschluss für unseren Besuch in diesem Hotel.

Same experience as others. Pictures not from the actual apartment but from better ones. You can’t count on what you get. No sitting area and no place to eat. And not a lot of care from the staff. Fake if you ask me since there are pictures of chairs and table on the website. Don’t stay here !

This is our third stay at the Amano. This time we booked the best room - Roomy Plus - for 3 nights.

It was roomy, but I've no idea how you would fit three people sleeping in it.

Some specifics. The wifi was very slow. Oh dear, that's because the hotel is full. Unimpressed. Why not provide enough power to accommodate a full hotel?

The door to the wardrobe was faulty. There were scratch marks on the floor and it was difficult to open. Two guys are trying to fix it as I write this. There have been two visits and now they have decided that they need a ladder.

There is a nice wide desk, but and it's a big but, it's not very deep and to make matters worse the wooden box enclosing the TV is set so low above the desk that you lose another 8 inches. That means that my small laptop and keyboard don't fit. The keyboard hangs over the edge of the desk. To me that's a very basic design fault.

Finally, there isn't a single chair in the room only a low stool. On the website there are pictures of a Roomy (not Roomy Plus) room with two chairs with arms. When I complained about this and showed the house manager he arranged for two chairs. All that arrived were two stools, the same height, with small backs. Again very unimpressed.

The worst part of all this story is the attitude of the house manager from when I met him down in the lobby to when he left our room. There wasn't a single word of apology. He just looked grim.

My advice to everyone is to find another hotel in London
