Stepped into AT hoping to find an outfit for my daughterâs new internship. What we found was a GEM named Marg! Marge knows how clothing should fit, is fully aware of the store assortment, and offered great advice. The store was immaculate, perfectly sized, and the associates all seemed to work as one team. Marg completed our transaction with items from instore and online and even convinced me to apply for an AT cc. Listen up Ann Taylor, if you want to know how to get customers off their computers and back into your brick and mortar stores watch what Marg does and replicate. Iâll be driving back to you Brea store because of the service I received today. Thank you Marg for reminding me what customer service really looks like.

Just getting my orders shipped has been a challenge. Their online service is ridiculous. I sat in a chat Q for more than 20 minutes waiting for someone to join. They still have not joined so now Iâm sharing my reviews of whatâs going on. Donât bother their products. Shop somewhere else with reliable shipping and delivery of your orders as well as reliable customer service. At their prices, they should be able to provide both. Itâs not like weâre paying discount prices.

I ordered a gold metallic belt. They sent a really ugly tan belt. Ugly. No metallic. I emailed. I got on chat and waited over an hour/same on the phone. And, I ordered pants (too small) and sweater (too big). I exchanged. They immediately charged for the exchange as I wait and wait for my refund of returned pants and sweater. Sent FOUR emails with ups proof of delivery. No response whatsoever. I disputed both the charge for the ugly belt and the charge for the exchange. First and last time I purchase from this horrible company

If I could leave a zero I would. The product quality is great but unfortunately one of my items was large so I wanted to exchange for a smaller size. The instructions say to call or chat. I tried both and on hold over an hour each method. I tried the following day and again over an hour in chat and phone without an answer. Finally I asked for a call back so I didnât have to be on hold. 2 hours later someone called me back and then said I had to pay 10 dollars to return it or I had to drive it to a brick and mortar store. Well it is about an hour and half away. There is only an outlet close by and they will not accept returns except for outlet stores. Finally they agreed to way the return cost but then charged be for shipping for the item I want to exchange. I have been back and forth for 2 days with customer service via text and they keep saying I am not charged shipping but I clearly have the receipt where is stated 8.95 for shipping and I can do math. The cost of the shirt is 38.75. 6%taxes and yet my bill is for over 50 dollars. I could not be more angry about the lies saying they are not charging shipping when they are. I have 4 days going back and forth over one simple exchange. I did not have to pay shipping the first time because I spent so much and shipping for an exchange. They do not have to worry about me ever buying anything from them again. Buyer beware.

Iâve had an excellent experience with Ann Taylor. Their team is always helpful and willing to assist with anything I need. The quality of the garments and materials is consistently excellent, and I really appreciate their timeless style. As someone who wears petite sizes, I find the fit to be especially well done and flattering. Overall, itâs a brand I can rely on for both quality and consistency.
Worst Service of All Time - Disappointed and Disgusted
I have never received more terrible service from a national retailer than I have from Ann Taylor over multiple interactions. I contacted the company using its chat feature. No one ever replied. I then contacted them through their text service and got ZERO response. I finally called the 1-800 number and got some help. We worked on an exchange for size. I got an email afterward saying the new order would arrive on Sunday. It never arrived. So on Wednesday I called. After almost an hour, the agent said there was an issue with the order and it never shipped. No one EVER notified me that there was an issue. I then re-placed the order, this time with overnight shipping. I looked that evening and I never got the email they said I would receive telling me that it shipped. My daughter had her heart set on this item, otherwise I would have given up. It was for her first event that requires business attire. I ordered it again online Wednesday night online for the THIRD time and with overnight shipping. Here it is Thursday night and NEITHER order has shipped! This is an emergency. I must have this outfit immediately. It has now been two weeks since I placed the first order. I cannot believe this horrible service for such an expensive purchase. I called customer service this evening and was on hold for 30 minutes before an agent answered. She said she escalated my call to a manager. I waited about 30 minutes for the manager to join the call. At 8:50PM, the agent said she needed to let me go so I could accept her manager's call because he was calling me "right now." Guess what - NO PHONE CALL. And of course the phone line closed at 9PM in my time zone. I receive better service from Walmart and Amazon than I have for this expensive purchase from Ann Taylor. I am absolutely disgusted with this entire experience. I had to take my lunch break to go an scramble to find something my daughter could wear for her presentation and race home to steam it out so she could feel confident in her attire. She was supposed to wear the same outfit on a school trip. She was so excited to have this outfit and wear for her presentation and school trip, and this experienece has absolutely marred the experience for both of us. For a company that touts female empowerment, they have absolutely ruined our experience. We will never shop at any of their brands including Loft again.

I ordered several items from Ann Taylor that were on sale. Out of an order of 5 items I only received one. I waited a couple of weeks just figuring they were on the way but then I figured I'd better check. Once I got someone on the chat they eventually emailed me and informed me that 4 of the items had been cancelled. If I hadn't contacted them who knows when they would have/if at all, let me know. I tried to call them to find out when the charge to my bank account would be adjusted to reflect the cancellation of my items but the connection on the phone was so poor I literally couldn't make out what she was saying. I tried calling again and hit the '1' button for a call back but guess what. It didn't work. Bottom line is the clothing I did receive was good quality but their customer service must employ one, overworked employee! Terrible.

I wanted to exchange for a diffefent size. They have no way to handle this. They have 3 forms to get to customer service which is no help. I took a break from them last time because of customer service. This will be permanent.

I love Ann Taylor clothes, but their customer service is horrible. I have attempted to contact them twice over the past month for two separate orders. Super disappointed with online experience
Honestly, super disappointed with the online shopping experience. Over half my order was cancelled, including the other half of the suit. When I went to return the items I did get that were meant to pair with the cancelled items, I didn't even get a full refund. So, I still think the clothes are nice, but think I'll stick to in store only when purchasing.
Ridiculous on-line ordering experience
Ann Taylor has the most frustrating on-line ordering I have ever experienced. I shop with Ann Taylor frequently and spend plenty of my hard earned money with them. Whenever I order something for "in store pickup" at the time of check out it defaults to "ship to me" and I am then charged shipping and the additional ridiculously long wait time for the order to even ship out. They claim they are unable to cancel the order because it is processing already! Why would I have something shipped if it is available in my local store and I have indicated "pick up in store." I am not going to order with them any more as this has happened to me on MULTIPLE occasions. I just don't need the aggravation of their ordering process and I will shop elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed. After the experience I had, I never want to order anything from Ann Taylor again. This was my first and last time.
I ordered a satin purple blouse in size XXS, but I received a white blouse in size XL. I called and waited 40 minutes on the phone. I explained that it was very important for me to receive the item for Easter Sunday. The woman on the phone told me she would place another order that same day with expedited shipping and that it would arrive on Saturday before Sunday.
I asked her to confirm that the item in the same color and size was in stock, and she said yes. Today is Thursday, and I received an email that my item is canceled. This is terrible. I donât understand how this could happen. Never again shopping with them!!!!
CEO Lizanne Kindler - fix your customer service
Order was never delivered and after a few weeks I emailed customer service. An automatic reply said I would receive a response in 24 hours. 48 hours later, nothing. The online chat does not work - you just sit there waiting for hours with no interacion. It has now been one month and they have taken my money and I have received nothing but frustration in return. Does CEO Lizanne Kindler know what a poorly run organization she is leading?

Extremely bad customer service
I would like to give a zero rating, but you are obliged to give at least 1 star. Unexisting customer service at AnnTaylor. I wanted to return my package from Europe to the US (colours didn't correspond with the pictures on their website) but this seems impossible. We chatted, phoned and sent several e-mails but we have the impression that they just laugh with their customers. Those people at customer service are paid to do nothing. We will never order again at Ann Taylor.
Excess credit card charges - horrible customer service!
Credit card charges for not going paperless. This is not disclosed and hidden in fine print. Refusing to pay it results in late charges which they refuse to waive. Customer service was rude and extremely unhelpful. We will NEVER buy anything from this organization again (this means all of their stores). They lost a loyal customer for a very stupid reason.
