Zoe and Martin Goodchild are despicable humans…apparently advocates of mental health…when I jump in front of a train due to their selfish ways , I hope god forgives them.

Remember these peoples names because they’re already setting up other ‘accountancy’ businesses…ZOE AND MARTIN GOODCHILD 👎🏾

Used our tax rebates fraudulent to get rich made false claims with HMRC and now denying any wrong doing!!
Avoid at all cost not to be trusted whatsoever!!

Used to conduct my self assessments. Despite asking if they claimed travel/ppe/meals etc they stated they didn't (emails as proof) they did infact claim this without my knowledge. Bad advice given, poor customer service. HmRC asked for £11,701 back. (Again email proof available) zoe goodchild refused a refund on fees taken. At no point was I asked what I wanted to claim for, nor was there a details breakdown of my self assessment

Apostle applied for a refund to HMRC on my behalf. Yes I signed for them to act on my behalf. As a professional looking after my taxes I expected a professional service for the 40% they took.
She keeps claiming she’s not at fault over 1400 people on a Facebook group says otherwise. Along with 70 MPs.
I’m basic terms nobody gets the gas engineer to service the boiler then strips it themselves we trust their professionalism… just as the way we trusted the goodchilds. And just like the gas boiler it blew up as they fiddled everything. Jails too good for you

So why did you take 40% from me

Having read Zoe Goodchilds replies to other reviews I wish she would explain how she can possibly say she has done nothing wrong yet she has taken peoples money and they are now being forced to pay it back to Hmrc ..you are a con artist ..anyone using you would need their heads examined

Not once did apostle ask for receipts to claim tax refunds. They just asked for p60s. We have not had any further communication from them , even to say sorry for the mess ( we can dream ). Action fraud has been informed concerning this. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Would give zero but cant, AVOID AVOID AVOID this company has fruadantly used people's information to claim tax refunds. They r claiming people approved these refunds but my brother hasn't and NEVER saw any paperwork with figures or breakdowns on it. They r LIARS AND THEIVES. Apostle keep saying the same stuff that everyone was given the paperwork to check before the claim went through to HMRC NO THEY WASNT NO PAPERWORK WAS EVER GIVEN OR SIGNED police r investigating them as well as fruad squad. Let's hope that they get what they deserve

Just read the reviews and make your own mind up, wouldn't pay too much attention to the reply from apostle and just look at the experiences of customers

Please avoid they have course me nothing but problems financially and mentally.

I'm paying back by refund with interest while they take 40pc and walk way.... Furious. No such thing as free money.

Getting a letter though the post having to pay money back we thought we were legally allowed to claim is heart wrenching. I hope Zoe personally gets charged as she knew what she was doing and deceived us all. As so many others have said ... it is FRAUD! I know we wont get our fee's back but i really hope the company is shut down and Zoe is charged with Fraud.

Update - the reply is all lies..HMRC are not asking for evidence, they are demanding all the money back including the 20% Apostle charged plus Interest. Apostle are not supporting clients. They are ignoring clients and shutting up shop! Absolutely diabolical, they should be ashamed of their behaviour!

shocking story unfolding, 100's if not 1000's of people affected by using Apostle as now HMRC are chasing said people for money that apostle got for them which the people all believed was legit, something is not quite right here....

They are being investigated by HMRC
for filing claims people are not allowed 🚫
They have left me with thousands of pounds of debt to HMRC.

Like hundreds of others I am now having to pay back the HMRC, following incorrect tax claims. I am no accountant, and used a professional service to make the claim. I am now out of pocket, yet my 20% fee is still with Apostle. Make up your own mind as to who is at fault! Can so many people get it so wrong???

To anybody else who has been on the receiving end of HMRC demands for repayment of ineligible tax deductibles... you need to contact Action Fraud. The act of knowing or intending to cause a loss for another or make a gain for oneself or another is Fraud. Apostle know exactly what they were doing and also the likely ramifications for those whom they were submitting fraudulent tax returns. You must contact Action Fraud and seek damages from Apostle for this shitshow.

From what I can gather this company use to be good and honest, from about 2016 Zoe seem to have gotten greedy. She started putting in claims for people to get money back from HMRC for work related expenses. Her fee was 20% of any claim made. The more money she could claim back for that person the more of a cut she would get. This is where it all went wrong she has put in so many claims that it flagged up to HMRC.she has claimed for expenses that None of us were entitled to. She has made millions, and she has left thousands out of pocket having to pay it all back including her fee with interest.

Despite a problematic year dealing with Apostle Accounting ,when i decided to transfer my affairs to another accountancy firm, Zoe Goodchild acted honourably by ensuring the transition took place smoothly and gave me a full refund of my pre paid fee.
