Avoid this company

2 members of my family trusted this company to deal with their income tax refunds, they then claimed for items that they knew were not applicable to claim for, they did this purely to ensure that the 20% fee they charged was a lot more than it would have been if they had claimed for items that were allowed . This companies greed and lies has cost hundreds maybe thousands of their clients to receive tax bills for 1000’s of pounds , they should not be allowed to trade again

Do not go near this company

Was told through Apostle I could claim expenses whilst working at the Port of Felixstowe, didn't realise Apostle claimed from 2018 to 2021 untill I spoke to HMRC and found out the amount they claimed which now looks likely I'm paying back .I'm currently Self Employed (sole trader) struggling with costs going up so this will certainly end my business .
I feel if the owners of Apostle had any decency they would come forward and admit there wrong doings and pay back there fraudulent misdoings ,they have ruined family's lifes for there own selfish greed and deception .

BAD experience

This company incorrectly submitted incorrect tax returns resulting in HMRC now investigating both myself and family members who will now be levied with a large debt to repay HMRC
Avoid this company - use someone else.

Please avoid at all costs… or pay theirs!

Left us owing thousands due to false claims that they processed to get a 20% fee.
We now have to pay their fee back!
Many people have been lied to.
AVOID.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Received a letter from HMRC stating that I owe £1000s in wrongly claimed expenses. They now refuse to respond to any of my emails. Avoid!!

yep.... i wish it was a bad dream,but its not. Got to pay back massive bill to hmrc, plus interests, plus 20% share they took for them selfs.
Supporting clients? Please….
U dont even answer what have u claimed under our names lol, same with the rest of 1400 that i know off thats been affected by this.

This company claimed expenses in my name when they was only supposed to be claiming any over paid tax .
Now I have a big bill from HMRC.

I wish I'd never heard of them. I'm now paying hmrc back money also the 20% they took from me it's like a bad dream. Do the right thing and please pay me back the money

This is Apostle Accounting in…

This is Apostle Accounting in Stowmarket. As seen on Watchdog 19.4.23. There are literally hundreds of victims. Do your research and avoid at all costs. Currently being investigated.

Referred to Fraud Investigation Unit a few days ago. As reported on BBC website. As you can see from her responses not a single apology or hint of remorse despite the obvious distress of all her customers. Disgusting unprofessional behaviour. We signed and saw nothing of what she submitted. We still don't know as she won't respond to our SARS request from 2 months ago (legal obligation states 28 days)

Trustpilot - why do you remove some of these reviews at Zoe's request because they can't prove it? Zoe Goodchild refuses us access to what she submitted. We signed nothing. Yet she repeatedly lies about her victims causing even more distress, without evidence, and her dishonest responses remain?

Tax codes are down to HMRC we have no authority to change these nor have we ever said you were self employed. You registered for self assessment for the claim, NOT self employment. We have had no notification of police investigation yet our lawyers have provided evidence showing client disclaimers signed and calculations approved ahead of any potential investigations. The same response is valid for most of these reviews hence the same response being given. This is a civil matter not a criminal matter and should be dealt with by contacting our team, or via your solicitors.

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would. Used them once and have ended up with a tax bill from HMRC due to incorrect expenses claimed by them, and now have to pay it back (the total including the fee taken by the company) and probably interest and penalties. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Thi company make false tax claims without their client’s knowledge and charge at least 20% for this, clients have only realised this when HMRC contact them to state that claim is fraudulent leaving them with a massive bill to pay .Do not use

Reply to Zoe - yes I made an error and submitted review twice - when are you going to admit your errors and return the fees you charged ?

Avoid these companies

This company has filed numerous self-assessments for 100s of people over certain years - me included.
They have taken their fees off any HMRC tax rebate given to each person
HMRC are now claiming back all these self-assessments for expenses claimed on behalf of each person as they were incorrectly submitted by this company
Each person affected has to pay back the full amount the company claimed including the companies commission and the interest accrued to HRMC
Now trading as Innovate Accountancy Limited with someone with the same name associated with this Accounting business
I suggest you do not use either company
