Great choice, excellent customer service and always responded to emails quickly. Technical team was extremely helpful in helping me choose the correct type and even though one of my switches broke and I never sent back for a couple of months (due to waiting for someone to remove the light switch), they paid the refund immediately without any prompt. Only 4 stars as 2 of the varilights I chose broke. One I fixed and the other refunded without any fuss. But, 5 star customer service.

I'm so glad I found this Company. They have a huge range of electrical switches that are good quality and very reasonably priced. Quick delivery too. Their Customer Services Team are also helpful and friendly. I had a couple of queries over my orders and they were dealt with straight away.

We are renovating a house and heave dealt with a lot of online companies, some ok, some terrible, these are the best we have used. My electrician was coming at short notice and I needed all my switches and sockets quickly. Ashdown Home store were the best price for the ones I needed and when I contacted them by phone with a query they were most helpful. I placed my order and couldn't believe it when it was delivered before 9am the next morning. I had accidentally missed 1 item off the order and when I contacted them they gave me the same discount that they gave me for my large order and free delivery. They will be my first port of call in future. Well done Ashdown Home Store.

Ordered a chrome plated bath waste plug from their website. The design of the waste outlet ("segment" style) and dimensions (73mm flange) were exactly what I was looking for to match existing bathroom hardware and these criteria were clearly shown on their website. Goods that arrived were a different style and different dimensions. Spiral design outlet and 70mmm flange.
The goods were labelled from a firm called DEVA. I previously had the same product shipped (and then returned) from another company that also claimed it was 73mm diameter flange. Looks like Ashdown are just "box shifters" who don't really know what they are shipping. Certainly wont be using them again; complete waste of time.

I ordered some specialist sockets for a new kitchen, Sean, their Customer Services person picked up on a potential mistake I'd made with the order, emailed me about it, I HAD made a mistake. Thanks to his vigilance I got the right items. The service was excellent, and delivery within 48 hours. In the current climate of larger companies choosing not to communicate with companies, this proactivity in dealing with my order was very refreshing. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ordered directly through their website. Very smooth process and items delivered in good condition and on time. Customer services dealt very well with a minor issue with the order and suitable arrangements made to rectify the problem. Amazed at how quickly a refund was issued for returned items. Overall a very good experience. I would order from this company again.

Excellent Service. Spoke with Shaun who chatted me through the products and gave me codes for the required sockets and switches to ensure they all matched. Placed 2 orders after realising I missed a few bits off and Shaun linked the orders to make sure they where all delivered together. Paid for next day delivery and the turned up at 9am.

Goods ordered simply online, goods supplied on time and at a good price. Had to call their help line over a technical issue, and they gave me the answer straight away.

Simon who calls himself the Managing Director appears to have little control over the service levels of his company and despite booking a day off work to be there for the 5th and final failed delivery - still haven't got the order long after they were needed for an electrician who was scheduled in.

Worst online purchasing experience ever.

Great products and service, really happy with everything I have purchased, I bought a big order of items approx 50 different switches. All looks good and the little discount for bulk buying helps too.
