âGROSS NEGLIGENCE
âGROSS NEGLIGENCE â Senior dog subjected to 2 failed surgeries (£2,600)
â
âI strongly warn all pet owners against Ashgrove Veterinary Centre. My 10-year-old dog, Foxi, was subjected to TWO general anaesthetics within 5 weeks, and both times the surgeons failed to remove the specific masses we pointed out and paid for.
âDespite paying over £2,600, the primary health issues remain unaddressed. Their own IDEXX histopathology report (Ref: 1011070806) proves their incompetence. Instead of the masses I requested, they removed easy, benign lipomas and even "intralesional suture material" left over from their own previous failed surgery.
âTo make matters worse, after two surgical failures, the practice owner suggested a THIRD paid surgery to fix their own mistakes. Risking a senior dogâs life with repeated, unnecessary anaesthesia for financial gain is medically and ethically indefensible.
âI have full documentation to back up these claims. This matter is being formally reported to the RCVS and Trading Standards. Please, value your petâs life and stay away.
