Typical Financial Industry Scum, adding a loan to my credit record that I never had.

This has lowered my credit score and added 8k to my used credit

They are like the sneaky scum that undermines life, robbing everyone and laughing as they go.

Forget all the paid reviews, these people should go to prison for the stress and harm they cause.

No response to emails, no comms, I only spotted it when I was looking at my credit report. Scum

Roll on the copy and paste nonsense response.

Reported it to Transunion as fruad, contatcing the FCA now

and no, I am not calling to have an untrackable conversation about how sorry you are and how much you do not care

I can only imagine that this level of deceit are the actions of a fraudulent company.

Just keep reporting them to the FCA

Payed my finances agreement for 5 years the managed to pay the settlement in full. Its was logged as finished then 2 days later they took a monthly payment?? Been 6 days still not had it returned?
Terrible service

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I was paying back a loan when three years ago I had a heart attack. I made an arrangement with them to not pay for a couple of months and then a further Arrangement to pay extra each month to pay off the arrears.
My loan finished in January and they cancelled the direct debit. I have now started getting strikes on my credit file and letters to say I am in arrears.
Called them this morning and am told I still owe £600. No interest I'm my complaint as to the fact that they made an arrangement to pay off on time just wanted a payment. Complete imboseles who have put me further in debt. Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid Asset Link Capital – Unprofessional & Untrustworthy!

Terrible experience with Asset Link Capital! They wrongly placed a default on my credit file without my knowledge, which ruined my mortgage deal. After months of chasing, they finally agreed to remove it in September 2024, but nothing happened. I kept following up, and they only removed it on 27th January 2025—after causing me massive financial loss and stress.

The worst part? Their so-called team leader, Rebecca Radford, was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. Instead of resolving my issue, she threatened to revoke an agreement to remove late payment markers just because I questioned them about the damage they caused! Absolutely disgraceful behavior.

This company has no regard for its customers. They mess up your credit file and then refuse to fix it! Avoid them at all costs. If I could give them 0 stars, I would!

Avoid this company people. Never had any loans with them and now they keep sending me emails that I own them
money, not sure where did they find out
this false information but I know the true.
Emailed Ombudsman so they can investigate everything with them. Be careful people.

BEYOND SHOCKING.

I have now taken up a formal complaint with financial ombudsman. My finance was originally with PCF Bank and Link took over.
They want a review every 3 months and if you don’t oblige they send a letter saying agreement has been terminated and you are “now in possession of goods belonging to Asset link”!
On calling today it’s a “system generated letter” to get you to “contact them”! On calling them, the agreement had NOT been terminated at all!!!!!

UTTERLY SHOCKING, I’m keen to see what FSA have to say about these bully boy tactics!!!

I took some loan that was suggested to me by a team member from People's learning. Initially it was for I believe £8000 now and it went up to £12000. I've already paid up to 2 years and the total I owe them is £12,474

A complete fraud company. Please stay away everyone that the best advise you'll get.

I had a loan with asset link capital. However after making a settled figure 2 weeks ago they are now saying I owe money. At point of making settlement figure they advised the account was clear and all done. Absolute joke this is. Do not know what they are doing. AVOID.

My previous Finance company has now pasted over my account to Asset Link Capital in which they did email me about however it arrived into my spam (my own fault)
Long story short, Sean Higgison called me to have this corrected today and i cannot praise his customer service enough! I know its important to give praise where it is due. Thank you Sean for your patience and assistance today!

Avoid, last month payment of my loan was paid they told me - the loan was paid in full, they sent me an email and letter saying all paid and instructed my to cancel my DD with the bank - then 6 weeks later I see a default notice on my credit file and that was followed by an email saying I was still owe them one month after they instructed me to ensure I had cancelled my DD with the bank. I have been back and fore but they aren't interested in communicating that this was a communication error on their part as they wrongly communicated to me to cancel my DD at the same time a final payment was due which they say was never taken. I now have a 6 year credit strike on my file, useless, uninterested cowboy firm, I really feel sorry for those of you with a loan outstanding to this mob.

Got a default notice from this shambles of a company even though they call me on the 1st of each month to take agreed payment.
Spoke to CAB who said they are in the wrong, spoke to assetlinkcapital and lo and behold it is a computer generated letter.....
This company is a joke, all info sent to Banking Ombudsman and posted in the various complaint groups.

My loan was original with Shawbrook taken in 2018.I have NEVER defaulted and paid on the same date every month.From last year the loan was taken over by Asset Link and I continued making the monthly payments.My last payment was on the 21st September which went out as usual.On the 29th September Asset link wrote to me saying that my scheduled monthly payment was overdue and they will be charging me £33 but the money left my account.When I called them I was told that the £33 as interest from when I took payment holiday during covid.But this is not what their letter states.This I was never told about by shawbrook when I had the payment holiday.I think this is BS from Asset link and a rip off!Now of course they want me not to pay so that they can keep increasing the amount.THIEVES!!!

Now this company has such a bad name and I just can’t imagine why! I was so concerned after reading some of the reviews when we saw that aqua had passed my elderly mums account to Asset link capitol so much so I wouldn’t allow my mum to deal with them directly as I was worried what she would be getting herself in to. We spoke with a lovely young lady named Lee Thomas who not only put mine and mums minds at rest but also happily answered every question we had, going into great detail when mum needed it to be explained again, nothing was too much trouble she even talked us through the steps of what to do if we were in the position to close the account or to pay extra to potentially save some interest, also so patient while I passed this information over to mum and while I asked what questions mum had, lovely young lady very informative and used layman’s terms where needed. It was such a relief for me seeing the worry disappear from mums face, I also mentioned that mum would be moving to South Wales soon and would be calling to update an address and I mentioned that I just love the countryside and wildlife wales has to offer and lee assured us that wales has plenty of both and that we would love it, She then cheekily warned that there are loads of sheep too and we might just find them in the garden if we aren’t careful, Haha! It’s so refreshing to speak to someone who is not only professional and courteous but also has a sense of humour and not so robotic and automated like things are these days, an absolute credit! Thank you Asset Link Capitol for our wonderful service

Firstly,I can only comment on the service I received from Asset Link. I read some of the the, quite frankly, appalling reviews which were mainly based on bitterness and guilt the reviewers felt due to the situation they were in. My loan was originally with Marbles but was sold off to Asset Link for reasons unknown. I requested a settlement figure recently and received one a few days later. I cleared the loan figure by bank transfer and received a confirmation e-mail stating the loan was now paid in full. The staff were friendly and the transaction was painless. I can only say i had nothing to complain about and thanked the staff for their help.

Dreadful company. I paid my loan balance & left it to run the rest of the term at £14 a month to pay their ludicrous early re-payment penalty & whole month later they still haven't changed the Direct Debit amount & have taken £362 from my bank! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Spoke with someone today about my debt today and told them I am trying to sort out an iva so would appreciate if they voted in the meeting of creditors. I was told that as a company this isn't something they do! How socially irresponsible, I wonder how many suicides due to crippling debt could have been prevented if they had a different policy

If anyone is dealing with this despicable company who employ plebs as team leaders who giggle through debt conversations, please use the record facility when calling them, without it I would have had no proof of the depravity of this company and their staff.
Luckily I have been able to share on numerous sites even though they refused to give the name of the giggling pleb.
This company are scum and buy your debt for next to nothing and employ degenerates in their customer service department.
