HAve been with Autodata for probably 20 years. Came up for renewal. Contacted the renewals section on 3 occasions. They are based in Spain. Said they would contact me back on 3 occasions but didn't. Have now cancelled and will be using Tech4Techs. 50% less in fees and the cover is at least as good as Autodata.

Software ist soweit sehr gut aufgebaut, aber die Informationen sind für den Preis zu teuer und sehr Vieles fehlt. Als zusätzliches Ergänzungsprogramm für die Werkstatt okay, aber nicht für den Preis. 3 Sterne sind es von mir nur geworden, weil ich für den Testmonat nur 1€ bezahlt habe und Autodata mir nach der 3. Kündigung endlich eine Bestätigung zu geschickt hat. Man muss vor Abschluß eines Vertrages auch bedenken wo die Firma sitzt. Und wenn ich dann sehe wo die Kündigungsbestätigung her kommt, empfehle ich "Finger weg". Und die Bewertungen vor mir bestätigen das. Aber letztendlich muss jeder selbst testen und entscheiden.

Was looking for a specific vehicle diagram, and gave the £9.99 1st month trial as they claimed they have it, unfortunately found very little info and tried to cancel, rang customer service and the woman on the was as rude as she can be, just telling me to do it online and didn't want to help. So cancelled it, been told i will receive the refund as they were quick to take over £150 for the first month of a long 12 Month trap they lure you in. Same evening i get a phone call pretending to be my business bank fraud team, made it sound very realistic but didn't get me any further. What made me think is that the card details and my personal info that i gave to Autodata was shared with these fraudsters, because i use this specific account only with making purchases from our trusted stock suppliers and never had a bank scam call for over 3 years until this situation with Autodata. Coincidence?
What i found on scrolling on their website is basic info you can find anywhere online for free, so don't be daft like me and get a subscription.

Be really careful signing up for the free or £9.99 trial!

Firstly they take the full payment (either monthly or annual) on the last day of your trial.

If you try and cancel they tell you to use a cancellation form where you have to commit to paying the full 12 months IF you didn't cancel before the end of the trial.

At this point you're ignored by customer services.

My advice - cancel the card which you used for the trial to prevent any further payments being taken and then issue a chargeback via your bank.

Lastly - for us, the content wasn't even that great, we had to purchase access to a vehicle OE diagnostics system (Ford PTS in this instance) to get what we needed.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!

Was offered a trail for £1 for a month, first job we had in was a well known vehicle, no wiring diagrams availible. tied to contact support, no reply, tried to call numurous times, no answer.

told them i dont want to go ahead with the platform as customer service is just piss poor.
no reply to me and sent me a invoice for £1800 and started taking money out of my bank!

have phoned numerous times over the space of 2 months trying to resolve and just keep getting told this is with the cancellation department.

2 months later my bank is still fighting with them to get money returned

It is a big scam the app. They get you with the trial and after you can't cancel for a year. They don't offer what they advert, most of the cars you can;t find any diagrams. It is a BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I would give it no stars if I could. Did the trial for £1 thought it’s not worth it so cancelled . But still took two months money. Do not use them. Shocking service.

The page freezes on personal information until you reselect the same car again, the subscription cannot be canceled. The instructions and codes mostly don’t match, the controls are terrible.

I 100% do not recommend this to anyone.

Abgesehen davon dass die hier „verkauften“ Informationen zwecks Fahrzeugen und Reparaturplänen absolut bescheiden im Inhalt sind, (die hier enthaltenen Infos bekommt man auch ganz normal über Google, (keine Reparatur oder stromlauf Pläne wie es geworben wird vorhanden), ist der Support und Vertragsrecht für diesen Betreiber eher ein Fremdwort.
Jedes Jahr wird es teurer, Ende 2024 eine preisaufstellung für 2025 bekommen mit monatlich ca 152euro. Seit Januar 2025 werden monatlich ohne Information / Ankündigung 174euro abgebucht.
Entsprechend habe ich direkt den Support kontaktiert und von dem gesetzlichen Sonderkündigungsrecht Gebrauch gemacht.
Ich wurde nicht informiert, und eine Preiserhöhung deutlich über 5% ist nicht zulässig ohne Zustimmung.
Bis Heute (06/25) wird weiter munter und fröhlich abgebucht und die mails gekonnt ignoriert, von einer Mail an die nächste weiter verwiesen, man bekommt gesagt dass sich darum gekümmert wird. Und im nächsten Moment wenn man nach 4 Wochen erneut erinnert, dass vis Ende des Jahres weiter gebucht wird und vorher nicht gekündigt werden könne.
Hier wird sich auf die AGBs zwecks preisabpassung bezogen- dass hier zwar auch drin steht dass man vorher informiert werden muss, was nicht geschah, wird ignoriert. Ich werde das ganze nun auf dem rechtlichen Weg klären müssen… 2000,- Euro im Jahr für so wenig Dienstleistung und soviel Ärger ist eine lachnummer.
Abzocke kann ich hier ganz klar bestätigen!

Autodata ist gut aufgebaut aber ohne Reparaturanleitungen wie zb. Türverkleidung ausbauen, Kühler erneuern, Stoßstange ausbauen usw. sind 144 Euro im Monat viel zu teuer und sinnlos.

i paid for one month trial but they suspend my account after just 3 days , very disapointed

Scan Company stay away from the them,
We tried a trial of autodata for 7 days for £1 and they told us to cancel send email to Accounts@autodate etc
and then after we did we got a email back from accounts saying we cannot cancel your trial email cancellations@ autodate etc etc and that arrived after our trial period and they took £150 from our bank account and we have phoned the bank and they blocked any further monies to this scam company WARNING DO NOT FALL FOR THE SAME SCAM

SCAM COMPANY, didn’t have the information I needs about headlight wiring. Put in a request to cancel 7 days ago and they are still trying to take payment. 14 times in the last 3 days also at silly o’clock like 3 in the morning. Desperate people. Called today spoke to a Moses with no people skills what so ever fogged me saying I have to wait to the case I raised. Asked to remove my card said no he can’t then asked for manager no again. I’d stay away SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

If i could give e less stars I would. This company is scum. Thieves. Robbing me . Their userface sucks. The information is rubbish and after you try to cancel after 3 days they tell you NO cancel after 12 months . Scum. Go to logicat. Ten times better. And cheaper

No realizan la cancelacion de la suscripcion a pesar de haber enviado el formulacion de cancelacion, la informacion que brinda es muy pobre, no tiene lo que especifica. Queria el diagrama electrico de un vehiculo y no esta

What a swindle, they are able to increase their subscription fees by any amount mid contract and you are liable to pay regardless of the size of the increase, you are not able to cancel the subscription without paying the full year including the increase. Just had notification of a 11.40% increase – no wonder everyone is finding tough at the moment.

Autodata reagiert einfach nicht auf die Kündigung. Software ist totaler Blödsinn! Absolut unseriös!!!
