puncture repair
very attentive and worked with my requirements. But unfortunately after riding my bike for about 15 to 20mins my back wheel was not secured properly and I had a very close call to a incident, so not very happy 😢

Great help in choosing the correct size frame. Salesman had very good knowledge about the bike and gave brilliant guidance. No pushy sales. Even set the bike up on a trainer so that I could feel if the riding position felt comfortable.

Most Helpful Staff For New Cyclists
As a newcomer to cycling, I was buying my bike through a complicated Cycle to Work scheme, but the team at Balfe’s Dulwich (special thanks to John and Joseph) made the whole process effortless. No question was too small and no issue was too complex. They were patient, thorough, and took the time to walk me through my options, put my order together, and follow up on every detail.
Thanks to their support, I feel confident with my new bike and excited to get into cycling. I know that if I ever have questions, they’ll be right there to help.

Wrong accesory model ordered 3 times
I have purchased many accessories as well as an expensive bike. One of the accessories had to ordered 3 times before they could actually get the right model. Every time I come to the store and Oh! Surprise! we've order the wrong model again! Bit of a lack of professionalism

Me and my partner were completely new…
Me and my partner were completely new to cycle world. And Balfe’s Bikes in Dulwich turned out to be a perfect place for us. Guys in this shop helped us to find the right bicycles, accessories and explained us all pros and cons. Special big love to John. He spent with us many hours explaining everything. We are hard, I know but his special approach is just everything. Thank you John! Now we know that we can always come back to the shop, no matter what and ask for advice or get a brilliant service for our bikes. Amazing experience.

Great local team
I know (knew?) nothing about bikes when I came to Balfes, other than I want to train for the London to Brighton cycle. Over the course of 4-5 trips to the store, the local team helped me figure out what road bike I needed and what other gear. After buying, I've come in a few times and they've helped me everything. I'm not sure if the same gear would have been cheaper online, but every team member was very patient and helpful and I would highly recommend them to other beginner cyclers out there.

I went in for advice on switching to clipless pedals and the team were incredibly helpful. They took lots of time to go through the different options and explain everything to me and then fitted the pedals and cleats for me. Amazing service!
