We have been travelling with Balkan holidays for the last 16 years. Highly recommend for skiing holidays. Stress free travelling with everything arranged. Thank you once again.

Great holiday great hotel.
The only negative was the fact that we were given a time the coach would collect us on our return journey (text Sent) yet it arrived almost an hour late.
In addition we were left sitting in the Plane for around one and a half hours due to a technical fault that needed signing off.
We were told there was someone speeding towards us to get the problem signed off but still a very long delay.
Apart from that, I didn't understand why our ski passes weren't in our envelope given on the Bus, in the MANY years we've travelled with Balkan the passes we're given on the coach, we had to get up early on the Sunday, travel to the Rila to collect our passes, we had to wait beyond the time specified to collect then trave back to our hotel before we could ski
Having said that, the hotel and it's staff were brilliant.

Booking was very simple, clear website and prices. The holiday is well organised and the benefits booking through Balkan holidays is great when in resort. The food in the hotel could be a little better, but that is not a reflection on Balkan Holidays.

Everything was well organised and resulted in a very enjoyable ski holiday.

Not very happy with the ski school as on the first day at lunch time I informed my instructor that I was going to have my lunch with my partner and asked when and what time to meet after lunch, her reply was see you tomorrow.

Another great trip with Balkan.
Balkan are the experts at arranging skiing trip to Bulgaria.

Great flights and hotel

Journey out to Bansko from Heathrow fine and Hotel Kempinski wonderful BUT return journey nightmare as not enough time allowed for transport to Sofia especially as bus was late . Had to run to departure gate, wasnt even time to use loo after long journey and we all had to sit separate on plane

Polite helpful and get everything you ask for quickly and efficiently 3rd time now I have booked holidays this way and it won't be the last well done

As a first time booker with Balkan Holidays I was extremely pleased with the experience. The booking process was extremely easy and quick, the booking agent was very polite and helpful and explained everything. I even phoned back the next day to ask if I could extend my holiday and there where no problems at all. Will definitely be back.

Booking online was easy and when I rang to claim extra discount, the staff were very helpful.

Very disappointed that could not accommodate my request for Monday transfer from Bourgas to Golden Sands since we have been loyal visitors for over 30 years. The rep said you have no control over what happens in Bulgaria but I felt he could have passed me to a more senior staff member who could perhaps have fulfilled my request

Easy to book a flight.

Usually a safe and easy process when booking with Balkan Holidays however this time i had one major gripe, when selecting my hotel there was an offer to " Refer a Friend for a 5% discount" after selecting the holiday i wanted i went to the next page to confirm and the offer was still there, then i continue to the Extras page ( seats and transfers etc ) and amazingly the offer had disappeared. I tried a few times to find out when to apply it but it was never offered hence the loss of stars, this would not stop me using Balkan Holidays as i have always been happy with them but this offer should either be removed or honoured

"I accidentally booked the wrong flight route and had to wait until Monday to call Balkan Holidays, as they don’t operate over the weekend. First thing in the morning at 9:00, I called and got an answer straight away. The lady I spoke to was very polite and extremely helpful. She efficiently helped me change my flight, While the service was excellent, it was a bit disappointing that they don’t offer support on Sunday , which would have been more convenient. Overall, a positive experience with great customer service!"
