Web site easy to manoeuvre
Pricing structure clear

I feel Balken was great in the UK from a booking experience and price point however our experience in Bansko from a lessons perspective and general looking after customers hasn't been great. The lessons have been swapped and changed . I am down to just over 2 hrs on my 5th day, my children have had 4 instructors . I think the staff in resort are well aware of the issues and choose to do nothing . I've not spent my holiday complaining to them as they have been made aware already .
The hire equipment is shoddy and the the token people hanging around don't even smile let alone try and assist with any issues. To me they want to stay oblivious. If you have no issues, Balken I'm sure are great but I think they are turning a blind eye to quite a bit including safety in resort.

I've happily provided all my details, im not sure what you are implying by not in the spirit of things , what a truthful review If customer services is important Balken will contact me . The rep this morning went out of his way to ignore our issues and certainly didn't want to talk or help resolve anything.

Everything, it was easy and straightforward efficient and remarkable value for money. I was met by Margherita and straight onto a transfer bus we were informed at all times the hotel was stunning with a pool sauna jacuzzi and steam room which is perfect after a day skiing, I had a driver Victor' everyday again who was so helpful. I cannot fault anything about the holiday Balkan holidays I would definitely use again and recommend highly.

Generally ok but three areas for improvement. (1) Instructions for collection of pre-hired equipment unclear. I ended up queuing unnecessarily with Crystal guests. (2) No notification of return flight pick up - I had to seek this for myself. (3) No piste map provided.

Well organised, efficient and professional. Everything was as advertised with no surprises or hidden chargers. Would definitely recommend.

We have travelled many times with Balkan Holidays and always received wonderful service. But the main reason we always use them is the price. It cannot be beaten for value.

It's the eighth time to bansko with Balkan and every trip has gone without a hitch.
My wife came this year and now insists she will be coming every year) she normally does not like travelling.cant recommend Balkan enough 10/10

Going to book with again. Not only was it so simple to get everything you wanted, we didn’t realise that we had a person who would give us recommendations and with Balkan holidays you get discounts so we got to go to a hot springs and ice skating with a discount with transport.

Staff are amazing and very helpful when it comes to the area you’re at and will give their own suggestions incase you’re not sure on the recommendations from bills holidays

Good service from Balkan once again.
Hotel had positives and negatives hence losing a star, not entirely Balkans fault but they did choose to use this hotel.
Skiing great and help from reps great at all times.
Good value. Jet 2 airlines doing really good job getting us there comfortable and on time.

The flights were on time. The transfers were swift. The rep in resort (Steve) was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and everything was seamless.

Had a great package holiday with Balkan Holidays, we went skiing in Bansko. Everything was already arranged, we simply had to show up at the airport and everything from then was taken care by Balkan and Jet2. Highly recommend this company to others.

Faultless from start to finish.
Amazing to find they charter Jet2 as this is our go to summer holiday provider and from East Midlands.
Transfer was a bit slow on the way out but that is expected when waiting on another flight.
The Masala hotel in Borovets is wonderful, great location with ski in/out, pool and spa.
All in all 5* knocking spots off its winter competitors.
Give them a try!

Easy to use the website and book our multi- party holiday. Trusted company, I've used them for years.

this is based on a number of factors. the snow conditions were very good & sunny days ,Margarita the rep was probably the best I have encountered in nearly 30 years of skiing The price paid overall was very competitive, compared to other European resorts. We would return again.

Two families totalling 8, missed a flight out of Stansted in the morning due to security being backlogged. After a frantic search for new flights we found a flight going out of Gatwick in the afternoon by Balkan holidays. We turned upto Gatwick very stressed after booking the flights en route to the airport in a taxi.
As soon as we got to the check in desk it was a great experience.
Excellent customer service. Danny was there to meet us.
He was very nice, helpful and gave us all the information we needed. Jet 2 who operated the flight, all of their staff were fantastic too.
I would definitely use Balkan Holidays in the future. Thank you
