Where do I even begin with the phenomenal service we have had from Megan and Phelix from the Lancaster Gardens Plot in Doncaster.

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful we are for the incredible support we’ve had throughout the entire journey.

From start to finish, Megan and Phelix have been absolutely outstanding. Buying a home can be such a stressful and emotional process, but they made everything feel so much more manageable, reassuring, and even exciting.

Megan, in particular, has gone above and beyond in every possible way. Her communication has been flawless – always quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and so patient with every question (and there were many!). She genuinely cares, and it shows in everything she does. She made us feel valued, supported, and never just “another sale.” Her warmth and dedication have made such a difference to our experience, and we truly don’t believe we could have done this without her.

Phelix has also been fantastic – professional, approachable, and consistently helpful. Together, they make an amazing team and are a real credit to Barratt Homes.

We completed with a newborn, which could have been overwhelming, but thanks to Megan and Phelix, the process felt smooth, well-managed, and even enjoyable at times. That’s something we’ll never forget.

If you’re considering buying with Barratt Homes, we cannot recommend them highly enough – especially if you’re lucky enough to have Megan and Phelix guiding you.

Easy experience Keegan the site manager has been very helpful after moving in.

Umida, Nilesh and Daniel are very nice and customer oriented. They tried their best to help us find the apartment that suits us. Daniel has done all the calculations for us so that we can easily figure out our budget. Nilesh is very professional in showing the apartments to us and Umida is very helpful and all of them have answered all the questions and query we raised. Thank you so much for the team.

Excellent service from start to finish. When we first walked in the office to enquire about a house we were greeted by Kinder, he welcomed us and explained what the process is to purchase a new build. Kinder was very helpful and was always there at the end of the phone when we had questions etc
In the later stages Belinda managed the finalising process again she was great and helped us with our queries. Overall the staff mentioned made our experience brilliant and the whole experience was amazing. Thank you Kinder and Belinda

Buyer Beware (Eaglesham View)

My experience has been extremely disappointing. The site team & customer care team have not been honest, and agreed works have not been completed to an acceptable standard.

The “meet our award-winning site manager” signage displayed on site is outdated and misleading. It refers to a previous site manager, Michael, who is no longer with the development. As such, the information presented is no longer accurate and gives a false impression to prospective buyers.

There is also a widespread garden drainage problem affecting many homes. Gardens are regularly waterlogged, and this has been ongoing for around a year with no proper resolution. Despite escalating this issue to director level, the business remains unwilling to properly resolve the drainage problems affecting my property and many others across the development.

Quality is another major issue - particularly with the glazing. Windows supplied by Scotia appear substandard, so I would strongly advise checking these carefully.

Most importantly: do not complete your NHBC surveys until you are fully satisfied that all snags have been resolved properly. As of 2026, both the 8-week and 9-month surveys count towards their 5-star rating. In my experience, there is a clear drop-off in care once these are submitted. You may be pressured and “sweet-talked” into completing them with promises of works being finished - but those promises are not always followed through.

Sinead and the sales team are great (they really are lovely), and the initial buying process is smooth. Unfortunately, that is where the ease of the experience ends

If you do proceed with a purchase here, I would strongly recommend instructing an independent snagging expert, being firm and persistent with the site team, and not signing off any survey until you are completely satisfied that all issues have been properly resolved.

Overall, this has been a frustrating and ongoing situation with little accountability. Proceed with caution.

I had a wonderful experience with Barratt Homes while booking my first home in the UK in Corby. As a first-time buyer, the process felt quite overwhelming at the beginning, but the support I received made a huge difference.

Jack, in particular, was absolutely amazing throughout the entire journey. He supported me like family, always offering genuine and honest guidance rather than just trying to make a sale. He took the time to truly understand my situation, especially my financial constraints, and worked hard to find the best possible offer for me.

His patience, professionalism, and personal approach made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. I always felt that my best interests were being considered, which gave me a lot of confidence in my decision.

I’m truly grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend Barratt Homes—especially Jack—to anyone looking to buy their first home.

From the first time I called to near completion, Caroline was such a great help, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. I had many questions and she was able to answer them all with complete professionalism and ker knowledge of the whole process was not only reassuring but put any concerns I had at ease. Barratts handled every step in the process to a very high standard and I would not hesitate in offering my full recommendation to anyone considering buying from them and if all sales staff are like Caroline then you can be assured of a caring professional manner.

I had a fantastic experience working with Bradley. He is an incredibly professional Sales Advisor who is polite, attentive, helpful and highly organized. What impressed me most was his follow-up—he was consistently on top of things and handled everything with a very serious and diligent attitude. Dainius has been very helpful, professional, and respectful in addressing the minor adjustments identified after completion and in the snagging report.

David from Customer care team has attended on multiple occasions. He is always friendly, honest and goes above and beyond to make sure issues are resolved, and given the time in which they deserve to make sure I am happy with the outcome.

Really positive experience. Gavin our sales manager was really amazing. Nothing was ever a bother and the entire process was swift. I would definitely recommend .

It should not take 18 months to fix a garden. I reported poor drainage and standing water in Nov 2024, the attempted fixes haven't work and now I am simply getting "we will look into it" with no responses. The garden we currently have is a health hazard. I can't move because no one will buy this house with the state of the garden and standing water at the back door. I feel completely fobbed off
