I highly recommend Tina Villarosa as a barrister for financial hearings. She represented me at my final financial hearing, and I won my case as a litigant in person, defending myself in my second language. Most people, including a solicitor I consulted, thought my goal was unrealistic, but Tina was the only one who saw a real chance for success and helped me make it happen.
She is excellent for all clients, but I especially recommend her to litigants in person — even without a lawyer, she can guide you to success. Tina is very goal-focused and opened the door for me to achieve what I wanted. She can see opportunities for success where other specialists cannot.

A family member needed representation as a LiP for an ET. We thought Barrister Connect and the chosen Barrister would be a perfect combination, having paid over £2k, we were left with a barrister who didn't understand what he was doing and nearly had the case thrown out at a very early stage. Complaining to Barrister Connect resulted in a 6 weeks investigation which was full of contradiction, some lies and plain misunderstanding, a token offer was provided. When returning to them to try to 'work something out' amicably we were shut down. So now we will look to redress elsewhere and by other means. If you need help use a solicitor or try other means of direct access barristers, the barristers associated with Barristers Connect don't seem able to do anything above taking your money and letting you down.

I have used Barristers Connect for a number of years across a range of matters. Rory has been an excellent point of contact, consistently going the extra mile to understand client concerns and ensure a prompt turnaround at affordable rates. Nick took the time to thoroughly review a large volume of documents and provided accurate, strategic guidance from the outset. His initial assessment alone was an impressive 36 pages, which immediately gave me confidence that I was in very capable hands.
