Me and my partner have been pondering having a log burner installed for quite some time but due to previous company’s saying we couldn’t have one as quite complex we sort of gave up on the idea until we was recommended to Paul at Bay Woodburners. Paul was very friendly and knowledgable and took on our work. Paul & Tony got on with the job and we are delighted with the final outcome!!

Paul took care of absolutely everything from start to finish, including arranging for a qualified engineer to decommission my old gas fire. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so it was great that Paul clearly is too - the attention to detail really showed, from the choice of Woodburner, beam and slate to the immaculate plastering at the end.
I wanted a completely hassle-free experience where everything was handled for me, and that’s exactly what I got. Choosing to have a Woodburner installed was a big decision and I’m genuinely so glad I went with them, I couldn’t be happier with the end result and would 100% recommend them.

What a great company, from start to finish.
I supplied the multi fuel stove (Clock) and also the slate hearth from JC slate.
I had a few qoutes and Paul's came out on top due to what id already supplied.

I researched a lot of companies and had several companies out to discuss my options . None were as knowledgable or professional as Paul. He quote was also the most competitive . Communication was great keeping me informed at every step of the way . Turned up on time and when agreed . Very clean considering what a messy job it is . Taking great care to cover my carpets and treating my home with respect . Paul and Tony didn’t stop - worked really hard and the result was amazing ! We searched multiple companies to complete a complicated removal and opening of existing gas fire, to replace with a wood burning stove. Paul was the only one who understood our requirements and said it was possible. True to his word Paul and his expert team completed a truly outstanding job, exceeding our expectations and delivering a first class finish. Absolutely first class craftsmanship, professional customer service and all within budget. Very satisfied and would absolutely recommend.

I came across lots of people advertising for woodburners installations..but I wanted someone local. I came across bay woodburners and after making contact booked a consultation pretty swiftly.
As soon as I met Paul I knew he was doing the job! Easy to talk too and knowledable and just a down to earth guy. We were away when the installation was done so when we came home it was a fantastic sight to see. Very neat and tidy job which has absolutely transformed the lounge! We will not hesitate in recommending Paul and will be using him to service our burner every year 5starplus!

Paul and his company bay woodburners installed a twin wall system and a stovax stove for us. We had a slate corner hearth too which looks beautiful. We couldn’t be any happier with Paul and the high customer service we received from the initial contact to the finished job. We highly recommend Paul and we have already passed his number on to friends

Awful service..
Paul Yates is awful at communication and is unreliable. He cancelled my installation twice, the second (and final) time, was two days before he was due to start the job.
Initially, our communication was over Facebook, of which he has now blocked me, this is so I cannot leave him a review. on social media.
Advice to anyone considering using this awful business in Torbay, DONT BOTHER!

Paul and his team did an amazing job installing our woodburner. Looks great and we are thankful for the amount of heat it produces, as we live out in the country. Certainly recommend Baywoodburners to everyone.
