Customer Service Issue
I was excited to order from this site. The jeans were nice quality but didn’t fit. I sent them back within 5 days but the refund option was not available. I wouldn’t mind buying something else but nothing that I liked was available in my size. They said they would put a note on my account about this. I checked in to see if the item was received and they told me it hadn’t been and to check with the post office. I checked the tracking and the item had been received. I got back on chat to let her know this only to discover I was blocked from the chat. 🥲
Bad quality, sizing and experience
I’ve purchased from beginning boutique two times. The first time I purchased I ordered 3 dresses, I ordered 1 in my normal size and the other 2 I sized up… when I received them the 2 I sized up in fit perfectly but after going through the wash (gentle wash) they were stretched and way too big to wear, the dress I ordered in my size was so short if I took a step my whole cheek would be out!
I thought it could be a one off so I decided to order again - 3 dresses, a size 12, (I normally size between a 12-14) a size 14 and a size 16 (the reviews on this dress stated to size up as it was small sizing) funny enough the size 12 dress fit me perfectly, the size 14 dress was huge and couldn’t wear it cause it was so booby that everything would fall out if I bent over… and the size 16 dress was so tight I was scared the zipper was going to break, the arms/shoulders were so tight but the sleeves were incredibly long but the length of the dress was fine? This dress is SO see through. The dress is so oddly shaped/fit and I have seen reviews that said the same after purchasing.
Not to mention the quality of all the items I have brought have been very underwhelming
I ended up leaving reviews on these and had a email regarding my reviews, I basically replied with the same thing as what my reviews stated (weird sizing etc) and the email response was along the lines of “don’t go by the sizing chart we have as it’s not accurate”…. So why tf would you have a sizing guide up if it’s not accurate? They instead told me that I should go by the measurements on each item because the site has different brands and they don’t all measure the same which makes no sense seeing as the sizing chart is the same chart on every item?
Anyway I didn’t bother replying as they went on about reaching out to them for sizing information on items but what an inconvenience to have to email a brand for sizing information on items you want to buy?
The email definitely put me off shopping from here again and I have had the same response from other friends, colleagues and family members who have had the same issue with beginning boutique sizing a quality in their items.
Won’t be shopping here again, which is pretty crap as I like the look of some of the items they sell, but the quality, sizing and customer service has definitely put me off wasting my money here.
I wish I left this review after I had the issue the first time.

My parcel came the very next day. Beautiful packaging and the dress plot perfectly. Very happy will shop here again.
Horrible return policy
I ordered a dress, the shipping came two days after the latest day it said it would come. The dress itself was okay, thin material but it fit strange. Too long of straps and already adjusted all the way even though the rest of it fit. (5’5, 137lbs, got a size 6) I tried to return it, a refund to my credit card not available for some reason and claims if you don’t immediately buy new items with your return 20+ dollars get taken off your credit. Okay. Not transparent whatsoever. So I bought a bikini and somehow ended up paying an extra 9 dollars, keep in mind original dress was 85. Extremely upsetting and will never purchase from here again and warn my friends to stay away.
Ugh order is missing
They told me my order would take 5-10 working days and yet my order has still not arrived. I’m extremely disappointed and worried I will not have a prom dress for my senior prom. I have even emailed them and they never responded to me. It’s very frustrating because everyone has said they love this company.

I never received my order and then they said I was a liar and wouldn’t provide me with a refund or the items I ordered. Very annoyed and disappointed. Do not order.

Bad quality. Terrible fees.
I ordered a dress. The shipping said it would take 5-10 business days to arrive. It arrived after the time it said it would. When I opened it, the quality is no where near expected for a 93 dollar dress. I went to return it and the amount that I would get back is only $68. This seems kind of ridiculous amount to be taken out especially when the quality is not adequate. I will not be ordering from here again.

Trisha at Beginning Boutique was amazing. Prompt, respectful, clear and concise with her communication. she actively made sure I was informed of any updates on the item I was questioning about not only on the day of the enquiry, but days after, providing a human touch to customer service that can often feel robotic and scripted. A genuinely committed CSR.
Quality wasn’t up to expectation
Only giving 2 stars because the quality of the items I had bought were not it. I returned my items within an hour of receiving them but on a positive note, the customer service was very nice and helpful. I love the return feature that allows you to buy and print the return slip at home so it was super easy and convenient :)
My Favourite Store
Im always so impressed with this store. I have ordered so much from them and have never been let me down. Their sales are incredible and just now I ordered the 3 for $99 and it came in two days….
Their clothes are always beautiful, tote bags and even the packaging. I know when I shop from this store I will always get quality products.

I have never received such incredible customer service in my entire life!!!! I spoke on the phone with the most lovely woman ever( Chantal I think?), who helped fixed my issue in a matter of minutes. She was so patient and compassionate for my issue, and provided a solution that I was so happy about. Her kindness and customer service was genuinely outstanding, and if anyone at Beginning Boutique is reading this, please know that she is a gem!!! This experience was so satisfying, and I’m so thankful for her amazing work. Thanks again, this experience has prompted me to always shop here! 🩷

TERRIBLE RETURNS POLICY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had a terrible experience ordering from Beggining Boutique and want to warn others. Their returns policy is ridiculous and completely unreasonable. Please read it carefully before purchasing!! When speaking to their customer service team regarding their returns policy, they were condescending and rude. Customer service is everything for brand reputation and consumer loyalty and these guys have it all wrong! If they only met me half way with my enquiry and made me feel like a valued customer, I would have not felt the need to deter family and friends and spread my negative experience resulting in a huge loss of potential customers for them!
If you are reading this Beggining Boutique, please do yourself a favour and review your returns policy to be more realistic and achievable for your customers!! Some customer service training wouldn’t go astray either.

Sizes run HUGE, email response snarky
The dress sizes are massive and the email response I received after asking for an exchange was really condescending for no reason. I’m a size 12 usually, and a size 10 mini dress I ordered (hoping for a tighter fit) was like a parachute on me. It was so big it was almost funny, but then I had to spend $60 getting it tailored and nothing was really that funny anymore. I understand if you can’t provide exchanges on outlet products, even if they are unfit for purpose, but what I don’t expect is to be belittled and treated as stupid for daring to ask. Please avoid, they will make you sorry for shopping there.

Avoid company at all costs!!!
Literally worst experience with their company and customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I purchased clothing from their company to be shipped to London. Easy enough right? One month later- never arrived. No tracking details, no confirmed purchase emails, nothing. I reached out to them to ask and they said don’t worry it’s coming. A week later still nothing. I email back saying the link they provided me shows it was returned back to them. They said customs returned it and they tried to contact me. They absolutely did not and when I asked for proof of this, they couldn’t provide that. So they said they’d charge me $83 for a customs fee (which wouldn’t even be applied because it didn’t pass through customs, it was sent back) and $25 to return it back to them. I got charged a return fee as if I received the clothing and decided nope I don’t like them, I’ll return them. But I never even received anything!! So essentially they want to deduct $108 from my refunded amount when they receive the clothing, for a package I never received after waiting over a month for it. They said when you purchase from our company it’s in our terms and conditions. They also stated once the clothing leaves their warehouse, they’re not responsible. So I guess if your products get lost on the way to you- good luck guys cause Beginning Boutique isn’t responsible for your purchase!
