David at your Colindale branch was a knowledgeable and helpful salesman even when he was busy. I was able to choose exactly what I wanted. Hopefully the delivery will be as good as the sales team.

The service from the staff was amazing and their delivery time is always on the dot. They had a great deal too.

We went to Bensons for Bed to get an idea on the price range for divan bed (no intention to buy) but ended up ordering an ottoman bed for a price that was priced at a very good offer! The sales assistant was very helpful (Krishna from Colindale branch) and we are very happy with our purchase.

We were looked after very well, our needs estabilished carefully. The Products are amazing, very happy with the whole experience.

After waiting for more than a month they delivered wrong bed base which had to take away by the delivery team, while calling the collindale store the store person Natalie offered no help instead of asking me to call customer service with very rude attitude as if it is now my problem to sort it out but that was not the case when I ordered, she was not even apologetic when I said that we are sleeping on the floor in this cold weather, she said it is not their problem, the delivery team took the wrong one hence they can't do anything, I have to wait for further communication by when I will receive the new bed.

I was assisted by Zeenat who was friendly, very informed, patient and helpful about the beds and I did buy what I needed even though it is overpriced. I don’t have the time to go around lots of shops to make a huge price comparative study of what I needed so did expect this. I could only look briefly online (which was confusing and difficult), check out this place (Bensons) in person, check out their direct competitor, Dreams, and a couple of chaotic-looking independent bed-selling shops in the local area. This took all weekend and was genuinely exhausting. Although I ended up buying from Bensons because I found what I needed, I was not impressed by the fact that I had to pay delivery charge on top of my £2000-purchase. That smacks of petty meanness. Also, the shop refused to give any kind of discount despite it being January and they offered no sales either, despite it being January! A bizarre experience. In summary, while Bensons do offer a range of mattresses and beds, it is overpriced so worth exploring other stores as (sadly) despite their staff’s good, personal efforts, the company is not interested in being competitive or having you (at least) feel that you got good value with your purchase. Apparently they are American owned now. Doubtful they will last the recession…

The company offers a wide variety of beds and mattresses to choose fromsujtable to every budget and taste.

I recommend to possibly have the items as clean as possible, as a few of the mattresses had some stains on them.

The member of staff that helped me to choose my bed was very helpful in explaining about the design and their top of the mattresses to go with my chosen bed.

Always a great customer friendly team, with empathetic attitude and understanding. No pressure to buy.

We placed an order in November. The original delivery was on time but we returned some items. The new delivery date was scheduled for 14 December. We received a call in 12 December confirming the items would be delivered. Then on 13 December we got a further call saying the bed base was not in stock and could not be delivered until 11 January. On 9 January we received a call confirming delivery would be made this morning before 1pm. By 1:30pm the delivery had not arrived. We called customer service only to be told the delivery has been rescheduled to 6 February. The customer service person was unhelpful - only suggested she raise an enquiry that could take a week. No reason was given as to why the delivery has been delayed again. I called the store and the best they could do was to say they’d check the reason and if an earlier date is available they will apparently call back tomorrow. This is disgraceful customer service. We paid for the items in full and 2 months later have yet to receive the goods.

Krishna, was the store assistant who helped us. He was very knowledgeable and was not a pussy salesman. He understood our needs and was a very courteous gentleman.
