Long wait for delivery, expensive mattress and not even lasted long enough started to deplete in ares of the mattress. Good friendly delivery guys.

Man in shop (called Ade in Eastbourne) was absolutely lovely and helpful when I brought my bed frame few days ago. Very nice man even called me to make sure I had managed to get a man with a van to collect the bed from shop and deliver to my home as shop closes for good on Saturday. Very good service and helpful.

We didn't know this branch would soon be closing as the landlord required the premises for a different retailer. I say this as the staff were to be made redundant but they were still professional, courteous and very helpful. We were pleased with the products and purchased a bed set from them.
The reason for 4* and not 5* is the delivery company they use are independent of Bensons and are not very good at communication. This means you have to chase them to find out what's happening which they only respond too in text form when a reassuring call would be so much better. Having said this when they do arrive they are helpful and considerate.
Would I use Bensons again? Yes.

I purchased a Jay be (bed in footstool). Great condition, great clearance price, thanks to Ade. Staff assisted with measurements and getting item from upstairs to my car. They were really helpful which was much appreciated. Superb service.
The footstool is a lovely grey colour and fits in well with our colour scheme. The metal bed is easy to pull out and push back in. It's attached to the inside of the footstool. We used big cushion as a headboard. There doesn't seem to be a base between the bed and cushion so not as solid if you sit on it. The mattress is about 7cm depth which is adequate. My son slept on it and had a good night's sleep. Really pleased I bought it.

We bought a TV bed at the Eastbourne branch the staff were great very helpful and all went well with delivery and the setting up of the TV and Bed, we had it a month and TV stopped working, I called customer services who are helpful and advised us someone technical will call in 3 days, its 7 days and have not heard anything I find it hard to believe it takes 7 days to call us especially as its only a month old! Not impressed with the support after care!! Very happy with bed how it looks etc shop staff are very good & helpful ! But after care is dreadful!!

Very helpful staff. We were never hurried into making a choice and were shown the full range of beds that met with our requirements. Staff were also very pleasant to deal with and happy to answer any questions.

Having had a good experience in the store my wife and I purchased a new bed, mattress and headboard which was delivered within a couple of weeks. That was as good as it got.

Now for the bad.
1. Headboard one which came with the bed was the right headboard, but the wrong material. But as we needed a headboard we kept it awaiting the replacement.
2. Head two was damaged in transit and returned.
3. Headboard three looked better until we noticed a run of metal staples on full view running the length of the top of the headboard. But at least it was the right material so we kept this one and returned headboard one, whilst awaiting headboard 4.
4. Headboard 4 arrived with staples visible all down one side of the headboard.

So 4 months after ordering our bed and headboard we are still waiting. Having spent a fair bit on the headboard we are not willing to accept this poor workmanship and if this does not get resolved soon will look at further options to get this matter resolved.
