The experience in the showroom was first class - friendly and welcoming staff who were not pushy but offered help /information when we needed it.We walked around, trying out different mattresses and went home to do further research. We returned the next day and were remembered (nice) and placed our order without difficulty. We were given a speedy delivery date (less than a week later) and couldn’t have been more pleased with the service.
Delivery took place exactly as promised and was without any problems.

Great help from Sharon how helped us pick a great mattress suited to us and got us a great price! Went out of her way to find us the best deal for us. Thank you

Ordered a mattress back on the 31/8 purposefully asked for a long lead time as needed to decorate the bedroom and we chose Friday the 17/10. I had a message everyday last week confirming delivery and time slot. The day before I had a text saying thank you for rearranging my delivery date to the 10/11, I didn’t rearrange the date and was very confused as I had a text 5 mins before confirming 17/10 still! Disappointed to say the least, called the number on the text which was the delivery department who confirmed it was a mistake and actually mattress was coming on the 23/10 as the item hadn’t come in as delays from the supplier! How exactly when the mattress has been on order since the 31/8 is there now a delay from the supplier that we weren’t informed about until the day before delivery? Called the Exeter branch where I ordered it from where I was basically told it wasn’t their problem, they can’t do anything with the order otherwise it would put it back in the cycle and we would have to wait even longer for the item!!! Cheers then! Anyway they told us to call customer service, called customer service who confirmed that the mattress hadn’t come in (again how could this be when it was ordered so long ago) and should be with us on the 23/10. Shout out to customer services as every other department made me feel like it was my fault it wasn’t in and not their problem and just asked me to call a different department. I felt like the store who SOLD me the bed and no doubt earned commission for it should have helped a bit more. As it stands at the moment I have been told my mattress isn’t in from the supplier still so when is it actually arriving. Who knows!I had already taken Friday the 17/10 off work, now taken this Thursday 23/10 so will be really disappointed if I’m let down again, which at this moment in time seems likely! It’s a tempur super king mattress, deposit paid in August and if I had gone direct the lead time with them was 2/3 weeks. We ordered with Benson for beds as felt it would be easier to go into store and try the item and we could pick the delivery date that suited. I wouldn’t bother with them if you have a problem you are on your own with sorting and you won’t get answers!

Friendly helpful service in store but experience since very disappointing. We were told the expected delivery date when purchase was made and later confirmed by email. The 2 Tempur Mattresses expected 28/10 didn’t turn up due to some kind of unexplainable problem with order not being processed and therefore mattresses had not been ordered and now told we cannot receive them until 17/11!! Wish we had placed order with another company we have used before without problems!!

Great service by Rob, the manager, which lead to a purchase of an expensive king size bed. We had been looking online at many retailers but the service was so good we made the purchase. The only downside was the 4 weeks to delivery.

From sale to delivery kept informed and arrived on time. Good old fashioned customer service.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming in the Exeter store, they allowed me to view the stock in my own time and were very efficient in placing my order. I attended the store as they had my item as a display model which was key to my purchase, I found that all my attempts at looking for a similar item on other retail websites, firstly I would not be able to view the item, so having to place on order which involves paying a delivery fee and then a return fee if it wasn’t quite right, and secondly the availability was quite a long period. So all in all a very successful purchase, which took little time at all, a very pleasant shopping experience.

I went into the Exeter store today. I spoke to a girl named Immy, she was absolutely amazing!! I didn’t feel pressured once. I have great trouble sleeping and wondered what I would benefit from the most. She was full of knowledge and was the most friendly service I had received. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend Immy to everyone. Thank you !!😝

Our new bed is absolutely stunning, the service we received was second to none.

Very pleasant staff who were very informative but allowed you to view the beds on display at your leisure without being pushy. Unlike another retailer nearby. With advice my grandson purchased the bed of his choice.

I purchased an iGel mattress from bensons for bed a few years ago, I made a complain due to the mattress forming large air pockets all over the top of the mattress and the mattress being so hot when it was sold as an iGel cool mattress which is why I purchased it. This is a very expensive mattress which you’d expect to be high quality.
I had someone from bensons for bed come out who persisted to say there was nothing wrong with the mattress, yet this man wasn’t the one who is sleeping on it and it was clearly visible that there was an issue was the fabric with very large pockets formed.

The mattress has got worst, it’s dipped in the middle completely it’s completely out of shape, I’m experiencing terrible back pain now as a result in my spine being bent due to the sinking in and it’s sooo hot!

I’ve been into bensons for beds and apparently there is nothing anyone can do about it yet this mattress has a 10 year guarantee!

Absolutely shocking benson for bed that you can rob someone of soo much money and not be willing to resolve the issues with a clearly faulty mattress!

I will never purchase another thing from bensons for beds again and will be sure to tell others of the poor customer service and quality.

We received good customer service and are pleased with our purchase. However I was really shocked at a high delivery charge and then to find out that it doesn’t include assembly. We were then told if we wanted the current bed taken away it was another £100 which I thought was extortionate. It’s a shame that there are so many extra charges once you’ve bought a bed for it to be assembled in your home and the old one taken away. It would’ve been over £200 extra if we had paid for all 3!

Sales staff were excellent- additional discount was applied even though I was unaware- not taken delivery yet but hope that goes smoothly too.

Incredible service from inside the store with the honest and friendly sales staff to the post sale care and delivery team who were on time with great communication. Special mention to the in store sales team member who spoke like a normal human to us instead of the scripted style of a competitor. We were also listened to in Bensons for Beds. Consequently finding the mattress that was right for us was a pleasurable and straightforward experience which came as a wonderful surprise to us. Exeter store thank you!
