Friendly and informative with an easy process of purchasing the new mattress.

Very helpful staff in making my order and also amending it a few days later. All sorted very quickly and would recommend.

We had been looking for beds for quite some time and had already visited Furniture Village, Dreams and Sterling Home. We decided to pop into Bensons for Beds just to have a look, with absolutely no intention of making a purchase.

We were greeted by Charlie, who politely asked if we needed any help. We explained that we were only browsing, as we were measuring beds for my son’s new flat. Later, to save time, we approached Charlie with a few questions, and from that moment on, the service we received was exceptional.

Charlie listened carefully to exactly what we were looking for and took the time to show us a range of different bed styles. He helped us measure the beds, explained the various fabric swatches, and even showed us how each fabric looked on different bed frames so we could properly visualise our choices.

He then guided us through the different mattress options, from pocket sprung to memory foam, explaining the benefits of each without ever making us feel pressured. Once we decided that a Tempur mattress suited us best, he encouraged us to try the different firmness levels using the Sleep Pro system to ensure we found the perfect match for both of us.

Charlie spent a considerable amount of time with us, and his product knowledge was outstanding. His patience, professionalism and genuinely exceptional customer service completely changed our visit. We walked into the store intending only to browse, yet we left having purchased our beds because Charlie made us feel valued, listened to and confident that we were making the right decision.

He also took the time to explain the entire ordering process and what to expect on the day of delivery, leaving us feeling fully informed and reassured.

Charlie is a tremendous credit to Bensons for Beds and truly sets the standard for outstanding customer service. His approach, knowledge and professionalism make him someone who should be mentoring and inspiring other sales colleagues.

I was able to prowl around and browse on my own without being badgered by staff; I did approach one and tell them what I was looking for and they gave me some options but then let me look. Good choices, was able to make a decision quickly. Delivery is a decent wait time - only taking longer for me as I am on holiday so had to push it back. Very pleased. When I was making my purchase everything was explained in detail and options offered, everything summarised at the end too.

We were really pleased with our experience. A lot of time was spent with us making sure we picked the right mattress for us. From start to finish we received great communication and were well looked after. It was brilliant. The staff were thoughtful and considerate, made the whole process extremely easy.

Delivery was as arranged with no issues and a call 45 mins before arriving. Unfortunately they left dirty marks on the handrail going upstairs and dirty marks on the new mattress.

Charlie was the gentleman who assisted my wife and me, and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Unlike experiences we’ve had in other stores, he wasn’t pushy at all and never tried to force us into making a decision.

Instead, he took the time to ask about our requirements, listened carefully, and guided us towards the option that best suited our needs. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience in store.

The store itself also had a fantastic selection of beds and mattresses to choose from, and the layout was spacious, well organised, and not cramped at all, which made browsing and comparing options really comfortable and enjoyable.
