What a fantastic supplier. From first ordering my mattress to delivery their service was first class. Due to my mistake I ordered the wrong size mattress, but when I rang customer service they sorted out my problem. I had to pay for the delivery of the correct mattress and collection of the wrong one, but again the service was incredible. THANK YOU TO THE SHOWRROM STAFF AND THE DELIVERY CREWS FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND HELP

Absolutely superb from start to finish. Called into the shop Saturday 11:00 picked the mattress. Delivered and on the bed Sunday 10:00. Fantastic. Brilliant team there and my sincere thanks. Wonderful !!!

We recently purchased a new bed base and mattress from Bensons; Kingsley spent as long with us on the day as we needed, making sure we’d seen all the options, comparing prices for us etc.
We eventually went with a sale mattress from the store, and a new divan made to order, meaning they would come from 2 separate places, but she explained and arranged everything so it was as easy as possible. On the day of delivery, we had the base dropped off an old bed collected by two exceptionally helpful and friendly delivery men.
On going to assemble the bed, I realised our old headboard was not going to fit, so called the store and asked if they had anything suitable in stock for same day collection. Lee talked me through the stock, got me a great deal on a perfect headboard, and then kindly helped my courier load both mattress and headboard into their van to deliver to me.
Faultless service from end to end, 5*. Thank you everyone!

As always staff are very professional and friendly in there approach. Providing information and helping you to get the right option for your full needs. I required hight and firmness due to health, believe me when I say not all firm mattress are firm when needed to push on them to help get yourself up. The chap actually understood what I meant, which was a relief as he could take me to the ones I needed. As I needed the right hight he made sure to assist to the point of getting a tape measure out. To others they don't understand if it's low I can't get up out of bed and its really important when making that decision. The fact that he wasn't put out and did make sure I had the right hight and firmness to be able to get up. He didn't push sales on just anything really means a lot, as you don't just feel like its another sales ploy. You knew he cared about his job and making sure the customer was first. He aloud me time and didn't push time, even knew the right balance to give me time to look around by stepping back and giving me that time to fully make the right choice. Not all sales staff get this balance but he did. I would say he's definitely an asset to your team and I will be back. Thank you for having people that really understand here customers, attentiveness and passionate about their services and products, this really helps.

Since this post in February unfortunately delivery side wasn't as expected and considering a really good experience in store this fell short to deliver the same expectations. But to be fair this wasn't an isolated case with just this company, I was going to find out it was the same with other companies. This said the mattress arrived with marks over which you don't expect for any new product.
I have no idea why there is a differences to in store stock and those the customer receives. But what I can say is that it was sent back, I received a full refund after being give my options, which wasnt what I expected. I did feel let down as it's not what you expect from excellent service in store and on a fair balance this was the same experience with other stores that were not related to Bensons for beds. This just makes me wonder why this situation isn't being investigated as either it's a supplier issue, the Comfort guarantee promise (which should not be impacting "new purchases", ie passing these off as new) or it is a transport issue where the damage is occurring in transit. Which ever is the reason, this is happening in multiple company sellers, it definitely goes without saying this needs addressing. Specially as it is causing a loss to all parties and customers, a lack of trust and a break down in relationship. All said the store was good to process the refund in a fair time, this could be addressed to make it better for both staff and customers regarding quicker time, who can process this and how. The confusion that the store sells the item, take the cash but that's where it stops, this isn't explained. As some else takes over deliveries and after sales by phone or online, this makes it really hard to call back without a direct number. It's like there's a third party involved without saying this. All in all I have dropped my ratings based on my whole experience, which doesn't fully reflect the great service received by the staff in store. I hope this is looked into and improves, as I known how good this store has been in the past and hope they can get this issue sorted out. In the end It was Argos that managed to deliver the mattress in new condition and as expected. This is a shame, as its only because of the excellent service in store I was able to pick the best one that was suitable from in store, this really would not be possible without there help and support.
