I ordered a designer bathing suit in size M which was too large. I spoke to the sales rep on the phone and exchanged it for S. I have been a Bergdorf customer for over 35 years. I took a shower and tried it on as I do all mail-order garments.
I have received a new size S which I love. Two weeks later I received back size M with a note that it's been worn??? I call and speak to Neimans who switches me to Bergdorf. They escalated and told me that their quality control detected deodorant on the swimsuit. Ridiculous. I asked them if sales were so poor that they had to do this to me? I explained above to them. They gave me the phone # of "Fashion File" who will resell it for me. A BRAND NEW SUIT THAT I ALREADY HAVE IN A DIFFERENT SIZE??? Are they serious? They are double dipping and making money on me twice? Never in all my years of purchasing from Bergdorf have I encountered this kind of scam. No respect. I will never shop there again. I would be afraid to try anything on. The last thing I purchased was almost $1,000.00. Since Neimans purchased Bergdorf it's like customer service is down the proverbial drain. Making up lies to long-term customers. Now I have the same swimsuit in two sizes. Does this make sense?

All the negative reviews are correct. Unfortunately for me I placed my order before reading the reviews. Placed an order for a size 38/8B of Bottega Venetta sneakers with two day shipping, shipping was fast & packaging was great but they decided to place a size 37/7B inside of a 38/8B box, wouldn’t have known the shoe was the wrong size if I didn’t look at the tongue of the sneaker & try it on.
I called customer service to start a return/ refund and the rep offered me the option to purchase another pair while waiving the shipping cost, when I told her I was not interested in re purchasing because I felt scammed and deceived she hung up on me.

I ordered a pair of shoes received 2/27. It was too small and I sent it back a couple days after. Bergdorf Goodman received it 3/12. It's been almost 4 weeks and I've emailed them a couple times with no response. I contacted their online chat and was told the return had "black scuff marks" even though I only tried one shoe on within the span of 5 min. They said the package was sent back, but they could not provide me a tracking number because they didn't have one. I thought I could trust this company because they are part of Neiman Marcus, but they are comfortable enough to make up lies to not refund your money.

Gift experience voided by a terrible customer service.
I bought a gift for my gf to be picked up in store.
I specified her FULL NAME email and phone number. After a week she got notified with an email reporting:
The gifted item (surprise factor gone) , the PRICE (you never show the price on a gift) and my gift note (was expecting to be printed and delivered at pick up time). In addition she goes to the store and has been asked my ID to get the item with an arrogant attitude. Was it not enough her fur name, phone number and email + her showing the notification received ??? She has to go back with my ID. A very bad experience and I will NEVER buy anything from this store anymore. I do not write reviews but when the policy is not customer oriented it must be addressed.

Ive spent 4 weeks calling every day and they say they dont have an answer from their shipping department and I have to wait
This is a complete scam. They take your money, don’t ship and then keep stalling.
Should be shut down by the department of commerce.

Do not order from Bergdorf Goodman, forgot sick if you return an item that you are not satisfied with, they take forever to refund you. I do not recommend this company. They hold on your money and never like to refund unless you call. Disgrace. I feel like I deal with oversea company. You must dispute with your credit card company to get refund.

I purchased a handbag for my wife. Cost was $2500. They shipped wrong bag. I returned same day I received per their instructions. They received it November 15th. It is now December 13th and they have not provided refund. Numerous emails to customer service prove useless. Buyer beware.

I bought jeans but I got a canceled order because no stock.
couple days later, the jeans back in stock. so I bought it again. also I contact customer support because I worry about cancel it again.
The customer support lady said don't worry, it is in stock.
after couple hours later, the order was canceled....

I suspect this website is a scam designed to lure unsuspecting shoppers with the promise of discounted prices for limited inventory that is actually imaginery inventory (ie "only a few remaining" = we dont have it but we'll take your money all the same). They then wait for you to call and then - if you can manage to get a human to talk to afer multiple attempts - will inform you that the items are on backorder and their buying team is working on getting inventory, and suggest that you wait. If you say no and ask for a refund, they then say "we havent actually charged you its just a temp hold and we only charge when we ship" in a last attempt to get you to not cancel the order.... I still cancelled. All seems very sketchy.

Same thing as its sister company Neiman Marcus.......Absolute trash. Don't even waste your time. I have had about 10 different orders cancelled in a span of 2 months. These people are garbage and beyond unprofessional. Upon calling to speak with a supervisor, I was yelled at and spoken down to. This company should be shut down.

What is with this place? I ordered a bag online a week ago then today they tell me it’s out of stock AND process my order which charged my credit card. How are you charging people for items you don’t have in stock?? What kind of business are you doing?? I tried to cancel but it’s unclear if it went through…

So I placed an order for Versace sneakers on 7/26/23, now normally with places putting a hold on your card it’ll take 24-72 hrs before they charge you then send out the items, WELL BERGDORF GOODMAN decides to cancel my order on 7/31/23 & released the funds back into my lady’s account so I contacted Bergdorf Goodman yesterday 8/2/23 & asked why this occurred & I wasn’t given a sufficient explanation so I told them to completely cancel the order; WELL TODAY BERGDORF decided you know what even though there’s a cancel order posting on this account we’ll sneak & ship the shoes anyway & charge on the backend thank god my lady had her card locked they tried to take money 3 times already….I’ve already ordered my shoes elsewhere, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS AGAIN, DONT TRUST THIS SITE, DEFINITELY REPORTING THESE FRAUDULENT ACTIONS TO OWNERSHIP

Poor customer service, I used the gift card 07/08/23, and no emails about cancellation. Although I email them many times, they didn't refund me the $150 gift card yet.....
Besides, when they had a promotion I spent $ 3835 on 05/10/23 and $2270 on 05/18/23 in their physical store, there’s a $1500 gift card should be sent to me this month, seems they don't want to give me....

I came here to check the reviews to see if anyone else was having the same problem as me and sure enough it did not disappoint. All of my orders keep getting canceled even though they keep listing the item as available on the website. I can understand if it happens once, maybe even twice, but anything more than that is just flat out ridiculous. I don't know what's wrong with the people who run the website but it's clearly disorganized and misleading.

Goodman service in crypto is a scam don't invest , I invested my money and block my withdrawals

I placed an order online with curbside pickup at the BG store. Although FedEx tracking clearly shows the merchandise was delivered to the store, BG never managed the pickup or contacted me. Although I never received the merchandise BG charged my credit card and neither the store nor online customer service answer my mails.

I placed order Burberry shoes and it was canceled after a week. Then Berdford Goodman keep email me the Burberry shoe again and again.

I don't understand all the
bad reviews,I do admit I was a bid worried about ordering for Bergdorf Goodman from all the bad reviews but my purchase was a pleasant one, quick shipping revicied on time thanks again

ZERO stars!!! They literally NEVER ship your order. I’ve called 5 times. It’s been almost 2 weeks! The 5th time I called they tell me it’s too late to cancel. My question was HOW when you refuse to ship my order!!! I’m really upset bc it’s a baby shower gift and I need to order from another place and pray it arrives on time. I am Pisces!!

The site stated item was in stock 3 to 5 days shipping. It's been almost 2 weeks. Not sure why I went with Bergdorf Goodman but it was a mistake. Ordered on 31 March and it's now 11 April and the newest updated on my order is delivery 17 April, the last update was 12 April. My hope is that it's being manufactured as I type with careful hands to make sure there are no issues.
