Utterly revolting. These have been our one and only go to family comfort food for 25 years+ and what Bernard Matthews have done to these is criminal. The amount of outer shell makes it more like a cake, there is a pea sized dribble of vomit smelling ‘garlic’ cream sauce of a completely different texture to what it was and a hideous mush of ‘turkey’ between. DO NOT BUY. It’s a sin to humankind and I am on a mission to bring back the once delicious balls of chicken garlic creaminess that punctuated my life!

Another review to add to the list of negative ones relating to the new recipe mini turkey kievs. These were a handy lazy staple in our house for my fussy kid. Bought them again last week and thought nothing of the new packaging. Boring but whatever. However on cooking these the outside crumb is lighter and tasteless, the meat is like sawdust and the filling is a gluey consistency instead of a creamy sauce. My daughter couldn’t manage half of one and when I tried it I had to spit it out. Vile. How disappointing.

Yet another bad review for the disgustingly gross mini Turkey kievs that I tried one of, promptly spat out and binned the rest of! What HAVE they done to something that was nice tasting and a regular buy? Put me off buying anything BM in the future. Never again!

Disgusting, disappointing and foul…

Turkey Kiev Balls?! What the hell happened? They don’t appear to have been anywhere near a turkey or garlic! New recipe is awful; mushy, bland and flavourless. My son used to love these. We’d buy 3 bags a week. 1st bag of new batch has gone in the bin and the 2 left in freezer will be returned.

Really disappointed with my recent purchase of mini kievs. They have changed the recipe and they are really nasty, just mushy grey, looks disgusting and tastes vile! I tried half a bites of one and spat it out, they really are nasty. I’ve no idea why they’ve changed the recipe, why they just didn’t put the price up.
Very disappointing as I always used to have a couple of bags of these in the freezer.

The mini kievs used to be excellent, I used to go through about 8 packs a week. As someone who is autistic these and some nuggets was my favourite meal that I could cook easily. Since they changed the recipe they are horrible! The meat is bad and the goo inside is horrendous. I cooked 2 packs, took one bite and threw the rest away. Even the dog wouldn't even touch one! Come on guys, sort yourselves out and stop changing stuff that doesn't need changing.

I use to love mini kievs when i was young, i bought some for my 11year old daughter, explaining how good they tasted, what a disappointment, absolutely a waste of money, they where disgusting, even the dog turned his nose up and he eats is own poo,once a year,!

I have given a 1 star rating only because a zero star is not an option. These used to be a staple quick meal in our house. Not anymore! Cooked them for 15 minutes in the airfryer and they came out just as pale as they went in. Cooked for another 2 minutes on a higher temperature and they still looked pale. When my son tried them he said they were disgusting! Really cardboard coating, strong tasting turkey meat and the filling was awful. Before the filling used to ooze out when they cooked but the new recipe is really solid. Definately won't be buying these ever again. Avoid at all cost.

Absolutely disgusting sorry!! My son has always liked them but after 1 and me trying 1,because I don't like waste, they went straight in the bin. Will not be buying them again!!

Please change back the receipe on the turkey kievs. They no longer taste good and kids are refusing to eat them!

We use to love the turkey kievs, but unfortunately the new recipe is tastless and the texture is like mush, everyone tried one and the rest went in the bin and will not be buy them again. Very disappointing.

Always a favourite in our house but the whole bag went in the bin. Very disappointed

Never wrote a food review from something I got from tesco before but the new recipe mini kievs might genuinely be the worst thing Ive ever eaten

Horrible
Ground up mush that's not what they used to be.
Not much filling, poor taste, terrible texture.

Not seen these in shop in a long time so i picked 2 bags up as i used to love these as a child .
After trying this product placed the lot in bin i did not even recognize the outer shell as meat and the inside filling i can only assume is a coloured thickening , agent .
These used to be a premium product in the freezer aisl .
Even the dog turned his nose up!

If I could give ZERO it would be too high!
Vile! What have you done to the mini kievs?! It was getting bad before without the filling but NOW they are VILE. I will never eat these again. Vile vile vile! Will never buy your products again. Not fit for human consumption!

Ewwww what happened mini Kievs??!!?!! They taste fowl , yet mushy and flavourless cost cutting ? Laziness I dunno but safe to say we won’t be buying their products anymore, not even close to worth it pretty sure aldi or lidl could make a better alternative , what a shame a once reliable and good company now makes food even dogs wouldn’t eat

The new recipe that Bernard Matthews has decided to us for their turkey keiv's are awful. They are mushy and smell rotten. I wish companies would not change things that don't need to be changed. My child is autistic and struggles with food so when we find something she really likes it would be helpful for companies like Bernard Matthews do not change products.

The Old Recipe was a Staple in my household it was always on the menu at least once a week. and if not included in a meal it was perfect for a snack.

It’s fair to say I will never be buying them again with this new recipe the “breadcrumb” outer coating is like cardboard the “meat” is gritty and the garlicky “filling” if there is any is absolutely repulsive the board of directors at this company should be sacked immediately.

The age old saying goes ( if it’s not broken don’t fix it ) so why they decided to change I’ll never know but how they got passed to go into production is beyond me
