Looking for plastic staples for fabric I came across a range on Betco Fasteners website. Looking at the information available on the website and others I read Raptor 81P/6mm polymer/plastic staples (5,040 per box). Ideal for boat building, timber wrap/tagging and all other applications where metal staples are inappropriate. Fits Raptor CT-6000P & Omer 81P. Understanding that there plastic staples are "Ideal for ... and all other applications where metal staples are inappropriate." I thought they could be used just like a metal staple is used to staple together paper. So it looked like the perfect solution. Overnight I became anxious that I had not found anyone who actually said as much so wrote to Betco, before breakfast. No sooner had I finished than I had a reply explaining that it was not suitable - the plastic legs would snap off - and I received a full refund. Excellent service, far better than dealing with importers who do everything they can not to reimburse you should there be an issue that causes you to cancel an order. After all we can all misinterpret information, but only a good company like Betco Fasteners are quick to act to remedy the situation with minimal cost and inconvenience.

I was viewing the Web site last night for a staple gun which was out of stock.
After emailing them to ask about stock availability the company emailed me straight away saying stock as been replenish and my order went straight through.
