I like the staff but communications are bad . The same machines have been broken for over three weeks no update has been given just a sign saying out of order

Finchley lido…
One of the swimming guards, Dona, shouts at people which makes the pool opposite of relaxing.
The receptionists don’t tell people their right, until they find out and when people ask why for example I had to pay to book my child for swimming however the child is taking swimming lessons, they just laugh and say write to customer service and ask for refund.
Customer service never refund the money which they overcharged you by mistake.
The Finchley Lido pool is not clean, some times smells like a toilet. The showers don’t have water pressure and the door of shower rooms are most of the time faulty.
I made a complaint regarding Dona overreaction and rudeness, Amir wrote to me and said he is going to transfer the complaint to the management, I didn’t hear anything after and Dona is continuing her attitude.

Great aqua session, human on the phone to assist with booking!
The session of Aqua aerobic at Finchley Lido was great, 5 stars! (We joined as disabled access members). But the booking process was a bit tricky and nerve racking, although in the end I was able to get support from a human on the phone, which is appreciated. (Anyway, the process was miles “better” than Fusion whose support is non existent and bookings impossible). So overall a very satisfying experience once the initial nerves of the booking process are in the past. Finding the centre on the app could be made easier - there are many centres, not in any recognisable order, and it would help to just find them by just part-typing the name. But happy overall!

The whole place is very dirty
The whole place is very dirty. The toilets have urine all over the floor. There is only one working shower. I am extremely unimpressed with the level of hygiene and am upset that we have now missed out on booking lessons elsewhere

i went into the baby pool with my 5…
i went into the baby pool with my 5 month old
within 5-10 minutes being in the water
my babys lips was shiffting he was frezing!
soon as i put him in the water it was cold.
so we moved around in the water trying to warm up in the water however his limbs went bright blue, legs, hands, mouth, arms,
i ran straight to the changing rooms to get him warm in a towel within couple minutes his colour came back we went to a&e they explained the water is way to cold for a baby
it isn't at baby's temperature ,
a condition called Acrocyanosis caused by spasm of the small blood vessels within the skin, usually in response to cold or emotional stress from the cold water.
never ever again will i let my kids in this pool
or tell any baby's to go there.
i understand a adult pool
however this was a BABY ONE!

Staff are excellent
Staff are excellent, trainers are excellent.
My only issue is there was a swimmer covered in skin sores and he was not challenged when he went in the water. Was he contagious? Why did the staff not enquire about his obvious severe skin condition?

Friendly helpful staff and good choice of activities
The lady in reception was really helpful and is always friendly.
The facilities offer a lot of choice for all abilities.
Only thing that could be improved is to have the wipes replaced more often to allow us to always clean down a machine after use.

Awful swimming experience with my 11…
Awful swimming experience with my 11 month old. The facilities were filthy, baby changing was filthy with dirt (looks like not cleaned for a while) floor was mucky with dirt. Not enough family area, had to wait to change my baby. Very cold water at baby section.

Clearly not very good at managing!
These guys manage the Finchley Lido swimming pool which is a joke.
Terrible experience in comparison to other public pools my family and I have utilised. Messy and dirty facilities is the best way to describe the place. The lighting around the pool is also poor so it feels very dark and grim to add to the already filthy space. To top it off they also have miserable lifeguards who go out of their way to ensure nobody is enjoying themselves...and you pay for the pleasure!!! Will definitely not see me again.

Friendly and helpful staff and fitness…
Friendly and helpful staff and fitness trainer on my first introduction day was very helpful and informative with exercises and machines I should use for my personal workout. Exercise classes are really enjoyable and teachers do such a good job and encouragement during workouts. Swimming pool is at a good temperature and there's always plenty of room for swimming, nice warm showers and nice clean changing rooms and plenty of lockers to put your valuables away.
