Awful membership admin
Couldn’t log in. I used to be a member. When I tried to join again was unable as ‘email linked to more than one account’. Phoned help line. Was assured it would be fixed. It wasn’t and is not so I’ve cancelled my account as oddly enough despite this my direct still paid out …I’m hoping to get a refund but I doubt that will happen. Awful service. Awful admin.

Well I’ve been using Glass Mill Leisure Center for the past two weeks.
I see that the staff are friendly and very much accommodating.
The Center has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Other users seem to enjoy the Facilities, it really does serve the loyal community.
Any administration questions that I have, have been address instantly via email.
On line bookings have been easy and stress free.
I’m enjoying my experience there!
Long may it continue.

Great instructors, grim showers
Absolutely loved the Aqua aerobics class by Angella - it was the perfect mix of fun, gentle peril, and fitness, and we all laughed so much while we worked out, which was brilliant.
The building itself is a bit ropey. The showers in the ladies’ changing rooms are full of flies, which I think (via Google) are drain flies. It doesn’t make for a nice clean experience and I hope the drains will be treated soon to eradicate this problem.
I understand they are working on the issue, which is great to hear.

The Better Company provides flexible memberships for everyone. The gym and swimming facilities are nice and useful and the Better staff are generally extremely kind and helpful!

Poor Administration
I have signed up and submitted my authorisation form. I received an email confirming that my eligibility form had been processed, my membership was now complete and active.
Went to use my card this morning and it did not activate the doors. When i spoke to the operative on the desk he checked and said my membership had been suspended.
Why? I don't know. I have had countless problems with poor administration during the whole process of signing up for this membership, which I had first started back in November last year. Your staff are poorly trained in knowing what services are provided and how to action the different types of membership.

First time and last……dirty, incompetent staff, paid to swim in a lane and then confined to the first half. Will take my hard earned money elsewhere. Shame it ruined the kids day.

Bruno at Lewisham waived my fee as I had a misunderstanding regarding the deadline for cancelling.
The staff are helpful, friendly and approachable.
The Pilates and Aqua Aerobic classes are led by friendly and professional tutors. I dont feel like I am forcing myself to be disciplined as the classes are enjoyable, and I look forward to attending.
The gymn is well equipped and spacious though I'm not a gymn fan.

We are also very happy to hear that you are enjoying the Fitness Classes on offer at this centre. Please do not forget that you need to cancel an activity at least 4 hours before the start time so you do not receive a penalty charge in the future.

Back at the gym
Using it for various fitness classes and not the gym. Really enjoying the classes and plan to continue. Surprised no sauna or steam room which is quite disappointing. Air conditioning never seems to work in the studios so getting that fixed would be brilliant.

Very helpful staff who took time to…
Very helpful staff who took time to help me each time I approach them. At Glassmill & Wavelengths.
The teachers of classes (esp Wavelengths - since I have attended in June) need to be on time, or at least 5 mins before the lessons start. I have been to classes and only 1 teacher as arrived on time, all the rest were late and most finished late.
