It doesn't have a small barbell for biceps, and it doesn't have a Smith machine for bodybuilding.

Birthday party
We celebrated my son's 12th birthday party there. The staff were friendly, they did climbing first and we then moved to the studio for the cake. It was very convenient, they have parking space outside. The studio is big enough for the kids to have their cake and play around. I would highly recommend it.

Using it regularly.
It’s nothing fancy but convenient location & friendly staff, also not overcrowded at times I go which makes it easy to do workouts, never had to wait for someone.

Bad customer service
I went to Better centre close to my house because children at school go to gymnastics and people talked well about that centre. I checked on line what activities they have but I could not see pilates and timetables. So, I went to the centre after work and I asked for the activities they had and prizes. There was some seconds of silence and the man asked me to go inside and check the timetable. I thought he was talking to another person but I was the only one. I found it rude but I did what he suggested. When I went back to the reception he was not there. It is a shame because I'm a sporty person and I want to feel comfortable at the place I work out.
I emailed the company and they replied to me quick. Even the manager emailed me to know what happened but I didn't hear from him anymore.
I'm writing this review to encourage people to email the management and complain because sometimes they are not aware of what's happening and they can take actions if there are many complaints.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your experience at our Hendon Sports Centre. We are very sorry to see it was not a positive one.
Upon looking at the timetable, Pilates classes are available at Hendon Sports Centre on Mondays from 10:00 to 11:00 and Fridays from 09:30 to 10:30. These sessions can be booked either online or through the App.
Should you wish to file an official complaint, please send an email to customerservices@gll.org and address it to me; I will do my best to assist and resolve any outstanding issues.

Charity? More like daylight robbery!
Be warned, they are now issuing parking fines, even if you have paid to use their facilities. There are no signs in or outside the building - or anything said by the receptionist - to let people know of this new policy. I received 2 fines today, 1 month after the occurrences. £200 so far, and I've already parked more times since, so it's going to be at least £400 in fines.
Anyone with a brain knows that the lack of notice and the delayed penalty charge is deliberate.
How shameful for a CHARITY ORGANISATION to rip people off like this, especially when your goal is to keep our country fit and healthy. I guarantee that you will make more from parking fines than your leisure centres itself.
I've never been fined before, so I couldn't be more shocked to get 2 in this way from a charity. Why don't you just stab us in the back physically on arrival, or convert your centres into multi-storey car parks, if money is all you care about?

Absolute lie - how dare you deny that you benefit from parking fines. I read about the services offered by the company you're using (Gemini Parking Solutions), and it advertises that it increases revenue.

Better/GLL do not issue penalty fees for parking.
Our parking is run by an external company and the name of this company and their appeals procedure will be on the penalty fare.
We do not benefit from any tickets/fines issued.
