Unprofessional behaviour of swim area manager
I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this leyton better swimming area. The manager (Shane Coulson) extremely rude, unprofessional, and lacks basic customer service skills. Instead of handling a situation with respect or speaking to me privately, he chose to humiliate and embarrass me in front of other members. This hostile behavior is completely unacceptable. A health center should feel welcoming, but this unprofessional behaviour of a manger makes it toxic. Corporate needs to address this immediately.

Sauna always crowded you cant enjoy group too loud . equipment on the gym is quite enough for your needs ,downstairs is brand new good one .space for stretching is too small good for 4 person only on my own estimated and then locker if you put 20p will not returned to you afterward and toilet not really cleaned. is easy to book for sauna and access entry using your phone scanner anyway not bad at all to distract yourself on your boring day for helping building physically and mentally ,yes it does!

Good swimming pool and clean
Good swimming pool and clean. Could do with more information about times of classes taking place. the large pool is not available Oftentimes in the evening as one cannot swim as classes take the whole pool so you end up being 20 in a small part of the pool. Which is obviously not what one pays for.

Mike is an excellent yoga teacher but…
Mike is an excellent yoga teacher but the room was stifingly hot with a free standing air con machine which had no affect on the space. Mike managed to find a better room but only because it was half term week and the room was free. The air con in the studio needs sorting.

We had a lovely experience
We had a lovely experience, the kids loved it. What a way to spend our Thursday. The staff were amazing, especially Ben, he was so kind and patient with everyone and he made sure he was interacting with everyone and making sure we were all good.

Unbeatable value
Unbeatable value, lovely staff, and the temperature in the sauna is just perfect. If I had to name a drawback it’d be that it opens too late and closes too early.

Friendly staff and good value swimming
Friendly, helpful staff who immediately made us feel welcome on our first time visiting. We just came for a float and a chat(!) and the facilities were clean, well-maintained and varied. Great children’s facilities with slides etc (which we didn’t use) and a mix of lane swimming and lanes marked out for fun swimming. Good value. Would recommend.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Also they know their names making it more personal, encouraging and enjoying. The changing room,shoe area and sitting arrangement at the front entrance needs to be more spacier. Otherwise all good.

Since my daughter has started swimming lessons, she has come so far from being petrified of getting into a pool. As she is neurodivergent this has helped her immensely with her confidence in herself and in trying new things. The facilities are clean and well cared for and the staff are really polite. A big thank you to Hannah and all the instructors who teach here!!
