The Aquatics centre is great and the swimming teachers are fab, but I hate using the Better app/ system, it is clunky, and Better don't allow families to pause subscriptions whilst on holiday so Better actually gets 1 star and the aquatics centre 5

Why do we have to book in on random gym days
The only thing to let the place down is you have to book everything in advance as it gets fully booked if you try going one day like of you do the gym then swim then health suite if you don't book it a day or 2 in advance it's normally fully booked

We require swim sessions, fitness classes, and health suite bookings to be made in advance to ensure we can maintain a safe capacity and provide the best experience for all our customers.
Bookings are also released 5 days in advance, which allows all members an opportunity to book activities they enjoy!

We're saddened to hear that you feel our swim lessons are too short and expensive, and that your children aren't progressing as much as you'd hoped.
Our lesson times and structures are in line with the guidance provided by Swim England.
You may also want to consider private lessons, as this may be more beneficial for your children's needs.

Ruby absolutely loves swimming
Ruby absolutely loves swimming. The instructors are amazing. Ruby has epilepsy and the whole instructors make me feel very at ease as they are all fully trained.

Staff are dead friendly…
Staff are dead friendly especially Martin on reception he’s allways ready to help. Facilities are generally clean and equipment is diverse and up to date.

Friendly and efficient
Lady on reception very friendly and helpful. She phoned Chris, one of the trainers who came down immediately and gave me a comprehensive tour of the facilities. Joining was an easy process and I've been happy with my several visits up to now.

I love Manchester aquatic centre
I love Manchester aquatic centre. Everything is included in the membership and I enjoy having access to the fitness classes, aqua fitness, swimming and gym. I try to go 5-6 times a week. It’s a lifestyle

A short summary of my experience at Better in Manchester aquatics centre.
You were lovely and friendly on a head and overall great experience what would be great is that if when there is a junior in the gym you could have someone in the gym to help with bench press and squat racks. Even if it was just the 30 minutes. It is a clean and safe environment with well laid out equipment with super helpful pictures on how to use the equipment. I have really enjoyed my gym and swimming experiences at Manchester aquatics centre.
