We're very sorry to hear that your visit to the Waterfront Leisure Centre did not meet your expectations and that your family felt uncomfortable during your time with us.

We understand that being asked to complete a swimming test—especially in the deep pool—can be a stressful experience, particularly for younger children. Our intention is always to ensure the safety of all our guests, especially in deeper areas of the pool. However, this should be communicated with care and respect at all times.

We’re especially concerned to hear about the interaction with our staff. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologise if you were made to feel disrespected or mistreated in any way.

Your feedback is being taken seriously and will be shared with the management team for review and appropriate action.

We are very sorry to hear about the cancellations of the swimming lessons at the Waterfront Leisure Centre and appreciate your feedback regarding the refund process. 

We understand that last-minute cancellations can be frustrating, especially when it's due to unforeseen circumstances like staff illness. Please know that we do our best to avoid these situations, but sometimes it's just unavoidable.

If a lesson is cancelled an email is sent with the option to request a refund or select an alternative lesson, this is is quickest way for members to request either option. 

We have also passed on your feedback to the General Manager and Swim Lead at the centre to look into and I hope this will assist in improving the experience for all swimming lesson attendees.

We completely understand how frustrating wait times can be, especially with popular machines like the treadmills and stair masters.
