The swim teachers put my son in the…
The swim teachers put my son in the wrong category more then once. Staff do not listen to the school or the parents and staff refused to give my son a swim hat. The water is too cold in the main swimming pool.

The company could leave the space for the younger employees as they are super kind and helpful. The oldest stuff arrogant and sometime they don’t provide good customer service. It depence if they had a good day or bad day! The thermal spa needs an update. The jacuzzi some tiles are missing and can be dangerous. Also few times that give me a torn towel.

Swim and spa
The spa is not very well maintained, there are a lot of missing tiles on the jacuzzi and it's often been out of action, also there is no option to swim on a Saturday morning however generally ok and more affordable than other options

More structure for paid lessons is needed.
My experience at Better Leisure Centre in Wimbledon has not been great so far. I’m taking swimming lessons but there isn’t much guidance or structure. Everyone in the group is at different levels even though we started at the same time, and the instructors tend to focus on those who take up most of their time instead of giving everyone equal attention. It would be much better if the lessons were more organised and each learner got the support they need.

Upon checking your account, we can see that your membership began on the 3rd of October and has been active and available for you to use.
You are able to use your membership whilst you are waiting for us to approve/reject your document.
We can also see that you have emailed us but this has not been picked up yet, so your request has not been rejected.
We have now picked this up and provided you with a full refund, under our 14-day cooling-off policy.

I phoned customer services today 1st Oct '25 and was pleased with the help I received. All issues resolved speedily and politely. Its also great that there is a membership for customers like myself who want flexibility. Being a carer limits my time and my options and it is really great to have affordable and flexible membership that encourages us to keep healthy & fit.

Fantastic facilities
Fantastic facilities, super friendly staff. My rating is due to the fact that I wasn't able to attend my baby's classes. My husband took my daughter to class, but I couldn't see her because the designated class area doesn't have access to the baby class area. I feel frustrated because I want to be part of my daughter's every moment, but I wasn't allowed to watch, take photos, or film the class later (even though my daughter was alone in class).

We apologise that you have not had a positive experience with us and hope we can get better.
I empathize with your frustration regarding your inability to observe your child while swimming. Unfortunately, due to the structure of the center, it is not feasible for you to view your child during their swim sessions.
Please be advised that photography and videography are not permitted within our facility for safety reasons, unless prior permission has been obtained from the center. In such cases, we would need to display notices to inform customers about the filming.

Gym is clean . Overall the gym is clean and tidy. I just started so I haven’t explored the swimming pool yet. As a disabled person I am not discriminated and I have easy access to the facilities.

Had a fantastic thermal spa and facial treatment. The whole experience was relaxing and I was made so welcome by the amazing staff - especially Teesha! I left feeling rejuvenated and with glowing skin! I will definitely be back.

Aline the massage therapist was the best therapist I have had, she is both relaxing but knows the areas to work. You can tell she is very experienced and exceptional quality. I will be back to see her!

Teesha made our experience worth it
Me and 2 friends booked a girls spa day online with the thermal spa and some treatments each. When we got to the spa the receptionist told us that 2 of our treatments were to be done at 9am and one person would go to the thermal spa alone which is not what we had planned. She said that the therapists were very busy and we can't have our treatments at the same time and after our treatments we should use the thermal spa which would have just washed all the product off. Unfortunately during my de-stress massage all I could think about was the mess up. After the treatment we then waited in the reception for our friend to have her treatement :( The receptionist recommended that we come back another day to have out thermal spa and out friends could get 1hour with us at a new date. When we returned on our new date we was greeted by the lovely Teesha she was accommodating, kind and very professional and is the reason why I am giving the 4 stars if we hadn't experienced the mess up at the beginning and felt very stressed (which isn't how you should feel as you enter a spa) then it would be 5 stars for the treatments, facilities and the lovley Teesha

Shower cleanliness…
I’ve noticed that the gym’s cleanliness needs serious improvement. The women’s shower and changing rooms are old, poorly maintained, and often have an unpleasant smell. The facilities really need a renovation to meet basic hygiene standards. It’s disappointing, as a clean and fresh environment is essential for members to feel comfortable.

There was very good customer service
There was very good customer service the gym has everything you need and there's disinfecting spray which you can use to wipe down equipment and overall everyone has been very welcoming to me being at this gym for the first couple of days.

The overall centre welcoming staff especially Dennis at reception and would highly recommend. The facilities are very good in the gym although im concentrating on cardio work outs

1st swimming class for my children. The instructor who was supposed to decide what level they should end up in was looking after 18 children, including 9 new ones, for the first 5 minutes. It was unsafe and worrying to watch. It was so stressful that, with a couple other parents, we were standing ready to jump into the pool. Of course the grading was done very poorly and my 2 were put in the same class, while they are miles apart in terms of their ability to swim
