I love that Betts are a family owned and run company, they go out of their way to help with your requirements. Their bullion prices are incredibly competitive and turnaround times incredibly quick and if it’s not, you’re given an estimated date for completion

Excellent service, I hadn’t used Betts before, but I’m very impressed. I spoke to someone on the phone about what I was sending I we agreed I probably wouldn’t get anything for the gold plating on my silver items, but I got the gold value and the silver. They sent the credit note by email as soon as they received my package and the money was in my bank the next day!

Nothing is too much trouble. Really knowledgeable. Really well trained staff.
It feels like the staff run with a genuine small business heart, but with a big business capacity to give you exactly what you need. Been working with them for years.

Avoid this company. When mistakes are made with precious metals they can be very costly. Both financially and also to ones reputation, particularly when wedding rings/customer orders are involved. Betts have consistently failed to deliver on quality but most disappointingly on customer service.... Or lack of it. From the staff on the shop floor to senior management I have had consistent problems. Orders have been sent out scratched and poorly finished, orders have even been completely incorrect from the items that were supposed to be dispatched. Betts have sent numerous parcels to the incorrect address even though senior management assured me that would not happen again.... Yet it has.
A awful company that will damage your reputation. I have had to let customers down as betts could not deliver on quality and service Avoid.

Betts always have what I need for my personal comission work and for the Rachel Hearne Jewellery school students. Their customer service is excellent and pricing is very competitive. I have been using them for over 15 years - great company.

Great price and quality on wire and sheet metal, accurate cutting, plus good delivery times.
Minimum spend for free postage is higher than some places but the wide range of products and competitive prices makes reaching that easy and very worthwhile.

As always, great product at competitive price and outstanding customer service. How can you improve on that?

BETTS were very fast on delivery. That's the good. However, for my second order, a few days later it transpired they had no stock of some and had advertised some non-existant items. An email picked up when I was tired (and grouchy) offered to send what was immediately available. That email suggested those items were or would be in the post and that I should pay "now" (I clearly hadn't remembered I had "pre-ordered" to be paid by card.) Confused by that email I ended up paying twice which thankfully was, eventually, refunded.
