Took hours to complete paper when we were being told 5/10 min repeatedly

Hard sell warranty that doesn’t deliver
Purchased a 2021 BMW 330e in March 2025. The warranty was pushed hard at the point of sale as comprehensive cover — unlimited claims, hire car included, £100 per hour labour rate. None of this has been honoured.
The car broke down 13 months later. The warranty company — which was switched from RAC to Warranties 2000 without any notification to me — authorised £1,071 of a £2,820 repair bill. I have been without my car for nearly two months. No hire car was offered despite it being in the written terms.
Big Motoring World’s complaints team issued the same copy-and-paste response twice without addressing a single specific point raised. Their final response on 29 April 2026 did not mention the policy switch, the missing hire car, or the wrong labour rate — none of it.
The matter is now with The Motor Ombudsman, the Financial Ombudsman Service, and Trading Standards.

I was not at all impressed with your company making an appointment and then turning up an HOUR late.

The gentleman who did eventually arrive turned out to be very pleasant and helpful.

Scored down a bit due to test drives being a bit short.

After doing a on line valuation of between 12,900 and 14,200 i drove over an hour to be told we will give you 10,000 for my car witch was in better condition than the car you were selling .its a total con would never buy from this company

A big thanks to Big Motoring World - Blue Bell Hill. We purchased a car from them last week. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. Simeon and Jade helped us to choose and to find the right car. The store itself is quite large and has a large selection of used cars. We visited this dealership because we found the car we were interested in online. Unfortunately, when we actually viewed the car, it didn’t meet our expectations ( we’re talking about used cars and each one of them have his specifics) . Simeon presented us with many options for other vehicles, and we found what we needed. It's important to note that Simeon was very patient and calm during our search, despite the large number of other customers. He physically provided us with a large number of cars to view, gave us enough time to view each one, and made practical recommendations. Since I had pre-registered a test drive, after choosing the right car, we drove it and further confirmed its functionality. The company also offers additional car care and maintenance services, but they weren't relevant for us. However, this is a personal choice for each buyer. The process went quickly and smoothly. The car was washed before we picked it up, and we drove home in our new car that same day. I can recommend this shop, but I think it's always better to see the car in person, as we're talking about used cars and there's a huge selection. Thank you, Big Motoring World - Blue Bell Hill.

We made 3 visits and each time was a good experience. Plenty of choice of cars and hot drinks. The sales team were attentive without pushy sales techniques. I would thoroughly recommend if you’re looking for a used car.

Shocking customer service from start to finish, left waiting around then after an embarrassing Part exchange valuation then had to haggle to get My own car key back! Would not recommend this place to anyone

Don’t buy a vehicle from these!
I bought a Range Rover from this company and within the warranty period the dpf filter and the nox valve needed replacing. To be fair they said they would replace, the vehicle was booked in, they then mixed the dates up and claimed they had no availability and I didn’t get the car back for 3 week, less than a month later the fault codes are back and they won’t look at the car without a full diagnostic report at my expense.
The levels of incompetence are insane
I would not buy from big motoring world again as there after care service is non existent

My first time approaching Big Motoring World, very impressed with the quick call from Adrian, who asked the right questions about what I was looking for. which also helped him identify and provide options available in the market and the nearest location for a test drive.

The collection and finance staff were 5 star very helpful and lovely to deal with.
The sales staff on the other hand very pushy trying to up sell everything. With fake stories and using old tricks like "I almost had to fight my boss to get you this deal"

Too much pressure. When you walk in you are welcomed by a receptionist. No problem there. Nice to be offered a tea or coffee. You are then introduced the salesperson. A nice enough guy, you get shown the car you are interested in, and taken for a test drive. You are then shown a demonstration of a protective coating and what damage can be done to a wheel and tyre. No indication of how much this is going to cost you. Then the extremely high pressure sales begin. You go through the finance soft search and then he disappears into an office where you cannot see him. He then emerges with a double sided A3 piece of paper and starts bamboozling you with figures which include extras like the fancy coatings, wheel and tyre insurances and service plans. When you say you need to go away and think about it, then the sales talk gets serious. Asking how much you can afford and tries everything he can to get the sale. He then disappears again, this time, a manager re-appears and asks how everything is going. You insist again that you need to go away and think about it. Not the sort of business I would want to deal with.

Awful, miserable experience. The sales process was drawn out for hours, but ironically the test drive was the shortest I’ve ever done. The equipment description was incorrect and the previous owners was wrong. The car died after 9 months (with 65k on the clock). Took 2.5 years and a solicitor to get them to eventually pay up on the warranty. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this terrible firm.

The staff are friendly, professional and the system is well organised with a smooth flow. They also let you have free tea coffee and shakes etc which is really kind and generous. Rhoden in the sales team and Olivia in the handover team were brilliant.
