Unfit for sale
We had arranged to have a car delivered (£129) to Norwich branch. We arrived on time and had to wait more than half an hour before someone came to see us. The person who worked with us was excellent and this poor review in no way reflects on her.
The car was a mess and should not have been put up for sale by Big MW. There were many deep dents and scratches inside two of the doors. There were scratches on most of the body panels. One of the rear seats was faulty and unsafe. A protective flap in boot area kept falling down. In the driver footwell the hard plastic matting was torn badly. I could go on. The price of the car was in the middle range for this model despite manager saying it was priced for its condition.
Because of the state of the car we were told the transfer cost would be refunded. It hasn’t been.
We expected much more from BMW. Disappointing.

Unscrupulous Salesman
Yet to collect the car but a word about the ridiculous high pressure attempt to sell a warranty, paint and fabric upgrades.
Refuse to participate in their scripted sales techniques. They cut our trade in offer in half but added it back on again if we bought the paint upgrade for £1 a month. Presumably so they could claim commission. It's all very unprofessional and potentially illegal.

Trade-in valuations and promotional offers are assessed independently and can vary depending on a number of factors. However, we take any concerns about how these were communicated very seriously.

Absolute scam of a company once they get your money they are no longer interested faults less than 24 hours after purchasing car. They hang up the phone on you and refuse to deal with complaints or even help with issues. DO NOT GO HERE. SCUM

I was very please in the way I was treated from start to finish at Big Motoring World.
Albie was a very experienced sales person providing lots of knowledge of the cars I was interested in, without any pressure for a sale (which would have caused me to walk out). He has a great personality and my wife and I felt very relaxed in his company and felt we could trust him.
Nelson was very polite and efficient. He explained every stage of the purchase, the sale of my old car and arranged the purchase of my new car tax.

Stay away from this dreadful company

Battery completely shot. Front tyre treads also way below paperwork given by Big Motoring World.
Paid extra for 12 month warranty.
Warranty company informed me 12v batteries and tyres not covered by warranty.
Called Big Motoring World. Given different numbers to call and no one able to help apparently - not their department.
Stay away from this company. 200 point check a joke. Warranty not worth paper written on.

Conflicting Experience
Went on Saturday for a test drive and was assigned to Chris. He was friendly, helpful and not at all pushy, making it a really positive experience. I would highly recommend requesting him as your sales advisor if you visit. Chris alone would have received 5 stars.
We came back on Sunday to purchase a car after reserving one online, but unfortunately the experience was the complete opposite. The salesperson we were assigned to was fine, but when we explained that we couldn’t afford the added extras and extended warranty, his manager came over and was extremely blunt, rude and pushy. We had already arranged our own bank loan and had a fixed budget for the car. Despite us explaining this several times, he kept insisting that because we had a good credit rating we could simply borrow more to cover the extras. He was trying to persuade us to spend around £2000 more than we had budgeted, which felt completely inappropriate and made us very uncomfortable. Eventually, we managed to get him to back off so we could simply pay for the car.
By that point we just wanted to get home, so we declined the valet. However, once we got the car home, we regretted that decision as it was absolutely filthy inside and smelled strongly of dogs. It also only came with one key, no parcel shelf, no floor mats and had no spare tyre.
Had our experience ended after Saturday’s test drive, this would have been a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the way we were treated during the purchase the following day means I’ve only been able to give 2 stars.
To add to our disappointment, on the drive home the car displayed a persistent “Camera/radar: no visibility” warning, and around 10 minutes into a journey the following day, the tyre pressure warning also appeared. A car sold as having passed a 200-point inspection should not be displaying multiple warning messages. This has left us with very little confidence that the pre-sale inspection was carried out to the standard advertised.

Bring in a cafeteria
It was nice to have the sales person not pressuring me to buy vehicles I did not want, and to seem to offer good valid advice that I may not have thought of at that point in time.
The small changes I personally would like to be different would be, to be offered the opportunity to put in personal information like wages and other incomes in a private space alone, I’d informed my sales person that I wanted privacy and asked my guest to give me a few moments privacy, only to have someone come over and say out loud the figures anyway, which left me feeling that my personal information was breached,
I did not appreciate that at all.
Aside from that, the sales person was pleasant and the car is lovely to drive.
I was not expecting to be on-site for several hours, I needed to eat, it would be good practice if there was an on-site cafeteria for those who bring guests, your customers might have felt it a more comfortable experience to think things through over a small bite to eat and restful place.

Had a car for 5 months, it’s had endless issues!! I got extended warranty!!! no one will help me I am 35 weeks pregnant broke down in tears over the phone and no one will help!!!!!! I have a car that I can’t get to a garage because it will not start unless I have to pay out of my own pocket to get it there when I have warranty!!!! no one in aftersales will answer no one in sales will help!!! Every manager is “busy” or “not in the office”!!!
I was also mis sold this car what God awful company is this!!!!! To top it off when I broke down I was left for 5 HOURS ON MY OWN heavily pregnant waiting for RAC to which I have cover for through this horrible company!!!!
This company is awful they deserve no stars!!!!!!
they have stressed me out so much I am now having to go to hospital and my GP because of the stress they have caused me and my unborn child!!!!!

Windscreen washers not working, bird droppings left on the bonnet and have etched into the clear coat, no fuel in car on collection day, no spare tyre, or run flat tyres fitted to car, engine bay not cleaned, very dirty

I have already left a lengthy review but have just been informed we have been lied to AGAIN. We have never brought a car from a dealership so we took their word for all the stuff we was told. So…. We was told we could activate our big assist 2 year warranty whenever we wanted and it would cancel the manufacturer Warrenty. So we “started” our big assist Warrenty and upon calling them today 1 day prior to seeing a garage about an issue I find out that it was absolutely not true. Thanks again big motoring world for more lies
