Went to Sheffield no appointment was seen within a min staff very welcome not pushy at all was test driving an Audi within 20 mins told the guy would be back in 7 working days as wished to pay cash and would need time to get out of savings very happy explained can only keep car 3 days told the guy not to worry as if it was sold would be back due to price guarantee cheapest in U.K. well Done all at Sheffield thanks Barry

Walked out….. I wanted to pay for the car in full as I don’t like HP or PCP. The salesman spent all of the time trying to push these, warrantees and all the car protection. If it needs all this then has the car actually gone through all the various checks you claim. So many scratches on the bodywork of the car I wanted to buy. You claim a non pushy sales experience but I was frustrated at having to justify why I didn’t want pcp or car care…..that’s my decision and wasn’t respected. I wanted the car but decided to try somewhere else purely because of the persistent and pushy nature of the salesperson. Not impressed.

We visited the show room with no intention to buy, we just wanted to have a look, we ended up buying a car! we were the last customers on Sunday! the show rom has many options, the employees are professional and welcoming,

My experience with Big Motoring World Sheffield has been extremely disappointing.

I purchased a Toyota Corolla on finance and shortly after collecting the vehicle I discovered a number of issues that caused me to lose confidence in both the vehicle and the sales process. The vehicle had a steering issue, and I also found shattered glass inside the boot and signs of repainting which raised concerns about the vehicle’s history and condition.

I immediately contacted the dealership and raised my concerns. Since then I have spent days trying to get clear answers and a resolution. I have repeatedly requested information regarding rejection of the vehicle and cancellation of the finance agreement, but I have been passed from one person to another without receiving a clear response or timeframe.

The finance I ultimately signed was also different from the finance illustration I originally viewed online, which added to my concerns.

What has frustrated me most is the lack of communication and urgency after the sale. Once the paperwork was signed, getting assistance became extremely difficult.

I have now formally raised complaints with both the dealer and the finance company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Big Motoring World Sheffield.

Josh at the Sheffield branch was extremely helpful and paitent with me. This was my first car on finance, i will be coming again.

Helpful and friendly staff. Would have been 5 stars had I not had to go to a post office to get my road tax.

No pushy sales people, quick polite reception even and helpful sales

Found a car online, booked for my partner to test drive, salesman tried to talk finance (full sales patter) and didn’t seem to comprehend that it was just a test drive before I drove 1.5 hours to look at it.
Followed this up by putting the reservation fee on the car and booked an appointment to go down.
All going well at this point.
Between reserving the car and the actual appointment I received 4 phone calls from different people at Big Motoring World wanting to check my details and confirm my appointment!
Ridiculous.
Arriving for my appointment I was kept waiting while staff were stood around the reception desk chatting.
I took the car out for a test drive but was disappointed to find that the handbrake switch was broken so it couldn’t be sold (how this had been missed I don’t know!!)
Requested to look at other options and the salesman Andrei tried to upsell me a car nearly £3k more when I had clearly told him my budget. He replied “ you could just put it on finance” !!!!!
Test drove another car and decided to go with it.
Was then aggressively pushed the scratch warranty, paint protection and car warranty even though I kept saying no.
Did not feel listened to.
What should have been an easy 30 minute visit ended up close to 3 hours!!!
The saving grace was Hamzah who clearly read my body language and hurried things up the best he could.
A frustrating purchase that could have been so much smoother

The car valeting, well, I think he needs alot of training. The car needs cleaning inside again. The middle console looks like someone has been sick in it 🤢. The air vents are all dusty. Foot well has marks on and dash. On the outside there's wax deposits all over.
The front passenger seat had a stain which has been removed.
But apart from that all's well so far. But we only collected car today. So 🤞.

Excellent service but spoiled by excessive pressure to purchase a warranty

Travelled to leeds to buy a car, car was in garage wasnt told so until we arrived, paid the 129 transfer fee to move car closer to sheffiled under the agreement that we would get that refunded back because it wasn’t our fault that the car wasn’t in Leeds when we went to buy it went to Sheffield to buy the car was talked out of buying the car by an incredibly rude and pushy salesman who basically told us the car was going to fall to pieces if we didn’t take out the warranty now they’re refusing to give us the money back that was promised to us all in service and terrible after sales disgusting
**the fee was paid to move the car because Big motoring world had cocked up and sent the car to the garage when we originally went to collect, the fee covered the transfer to Sheffiled so that we disnt have to travel 100 miles again! The refund of the fee was offered as good will gesture because of the significant inconvenience which has not been honoured and the car would have been purchased outright had the dispicable sales man not told us the car would fall apart!

We have been able to 'test-drive' our shortlist of four different cars and this really helped us to make up our mind about which one is right for us - scrolling through websites only helps so far!!
We were fortunate to have the help of Les (Spinks) in accompanying us on the test drives and answering all our questions about the different (and quite varied) vehicles. What we most appreciated was the 'non-pushy' supportive style of service. Thanks Les - car purchased as a result of your help and technical information.

We walked into a bright and busy reception. Everyone in the area was being assisted with a member of staff. We booked an appointment and Josh came over straight away. Wonderful experience. No pressure at all. Mum found the car she wanted and it’s being brought to the sheffield branch for a test drive. Will definitely come back here and let all my friends know how great it was

Massive selection. Friendly staff who were patient with me and my wife's deliberation process, gave us great honest advice, and didn't give the impression they were pressuring us to make a sale at any point.

Managed to get an absolute bargain too :)

I bought a Kia Xceed from Big Motoring World Sheffield on 25th April. The process went well. The Sales Executive I dealt with was Kieran. He was very helpful and made my first experience of buying a car smooth.

He explained the different finance options which I believe was a requirement. He accepted my preference to buy the car with cash. I noted an issue with the petrol tank cover to him. This was swiftly raised with someone and was confirmed to be fixed before sale.

Everything about the buying of the car went well and Kieran was very helpful and professional.

The three stars are unfortunately because of some issues that I believe ought to have been dealt with before sale. The tyres all had no valve covers. I didn't realise that before sale. I had to buy new ones. One of the tyres started signalling low pressure shortly into the drive home. I topped that up at the local petrol station when I got home. I assumed that should have been checked before sale. These were minor things that I personally didn't mind sorting myself. At the same time, these are minor issues you don't expect to deal with post sale when spending so much money.

The biggest issue was the central locking system. One of the doors did not respond to the central locking system. I did not catch that on my checks or during the test drive. It was only a few days later that I realised the near side rear passenger door was still unlocked despite me locking the door. Fortunately, the car was still under KIA warranty and therefore I got it fixed through them. The issue with the central locking system is the main reason I score 3 stars instead of four or even a 5. I wasn't expecting something as important as the functioning of the central locking system to have been overlooked by the dealership.

Overall, buying the car itself was a relatively good experience largely due to my sales executive Kieran. I've had the car for almost 2 months and there are no issues. I privately serviced it with KIA after sale and there were no problems. I won't ignore other peoples experiences with the dealership but my mine was overly positive albeit for one major issue after sale.

Terrible customer experience and faulty car.

Bought a car the day after the car had a huge fault. It clearly hadn’t been tested as had to have the RAC outs

Went back to the garage, not one bit of support. All he said was you’ve got to go through customer service. Paid cash for the car and not one bit of interest after.

We are having to chase anything. Ring customer services, ring the insurance, ring the garage- all on the customer! This is all ONE day after buying the car.

Terrible. Quick to sell you the car but completely don’t want anything to do with you after!
